MRVerse-Episode 2

[Chapter 2]
Feb WK2 20XX

Been a month since the Faraday Siblings were last seen, not much had changed...the 2 of them trained their monsters on a daily basis. Jalen making sure Hilbert's POW/ACC/SPD is higher and higher while Rin focus more on Hilda's DEF and LIF with some INT to offer her some ranged attacks. As far as new techs being learned, Hilbert learned the upgraded version of Straight in Hard-Straight, an fist fused with electricity while Hilda learned Aqua Stream, an long ranged INT attack focused on Withering the foe's guts down.

However, at the moment they are not at home. Nay, they aren't even at their home country of Ylisse...they are going to the capital of Nohr, Windmire where they are invited by the Leonharts(Who asked the Gothas permission, mind you)to attend the event to celebrate the Taurus Cup, A very prestigious tourney filled with 6 very powerful Rank S breeders..such as King Garon of Nohr and King Hector of Ylisse.

They have flown over in their private family jet with their mother, the 45 year old woman who's the matriarch, Palutena Faraday. A beautiful brunette who share many features with her youngest daughter. However, she hides her more passionate side better than Rin does. Judging by her more relaxed face as opposed to Rin's more annoyed look and even Jalen's bored expression. They are currently arriving at the castle in one of the limos owned by the Gothas with the finest wine in the cooler which Palutena helped herself to, drinking the whole bottle down and not getting drunk by it.

"Wooo! Here we are, kiddies!"

She hollered as the limo parks in front of the castle where many nobles are heading towards. The driver step out of the car and head to the door to let the Faradays out, lead by Palutena who leave the bottle in the limo as her 2 kids step out behind her, flanking her on both sides. They all have nice clothing on, Jalen with a dark red tuxedo on and his normally long and shaggy hair tied to a long ponytail, Rhiannon with her hair tied to a bun with a dark green dress on that highlights her body in all the right places..and Palutena with a purple dress with the family crest on the back(Same for the kids).

"Mom..." Jalen sighs as he look around and see the nobles looking at them with looks of confusion.. "You're at a 9, keep it down to a 5 please?"

Palutena look at Jalen with a pout. "Ah, lighten up Jalen...We're here to have fun, mingle with our fell nobles, and more things!"
Rhiannon fixes her dress to make sure she won't have a nipple slip as she walk on ahead "Mom's right, Brother..try to have fun and not worried about how we appear to our peers.."

"It's not how we appear to these guys that have me worried.." Jalen walk on to catch up with his sister while Palutena walk on behind them, waving at her friends and peers. "It's the fact that we may have to interact with some unsavory nobles who wanna stroke their ego at us."

Rhiannon nods in agreement...she know  for a fact that this is what most of these balls are really about...Nobles stroking themselves over their or their relatives's accomplishments while some of them looking down on the lower-class...It was something that their mom even do from time to time Not the shitting on lower-class, she taught her kids to never do that..but even Palutena can't help but boast about her kids's strides in their careers to her peers.

"Well, we just gonna have to find Chrom and Lissa and just hang with them for the day, eh?" She smiles to cheer her brother up who smiles back. "Yeah, that's true..."

The 2 kids wait at the door for their mom to catch up with them, which she does after greeting her friends. She stand between them and nods as she push the giant doors open to reveal the party underway. Many of them are discussing subjects ranging from their daily lives, to their careers ranging from training monsters, doctors, lawyers, and more.

The ballroom have 2 floors with 2 grand stairs on each side of the room that leads up to the second floor. On each floor are 3 tables full of the finest food that can be cooked up by professional cooks from Windmire. There are banners of the Gotha family crest hanging from the ceiling in Purple, Black, and Gold. On each wall are paintings of the family members of the Gotha line dating back all the way from the start with Eldigan Gotha.

"Now kids, go on and have fun while Momma devote herself to the refreshment table..." Palutena smile as she head off to said table. The siblings nods as they walk around and greet their fellow peers around their ages...Most of them the Faradays have fought in tourneys and defeated handily.

They continue onwards until they spot a blue-haired male up ahead leaning against a wall wearing a blue suit with the royal Ylissian Crest on his chest. Besides him is a blonde girl with a yellow dress on as she speaks to him with an annoyed look.

"Chrom! You can't just stand here by your lonesome and expect to have some of the Nohrian Nobles to like you!" She stomp the floor with her heels as the older male sighs and crosses his arms. "Lissa, we discussed this multiple times...Politics and me don't really mix well."

"Is that what we're going with?" The Leonhart siblings turn over to see Rin smirking as the Faradays approaches them, Jalen smiling. "Cause that is a sad excuse coming from a prince."

"If it make you feel better..." Jalen chuckles as he and Chrom does a bro-hug "She like to be on my case about this as well."

"Jalen! Rhiannon!" Chrom smiles as he look over them. "Nice to see you guys make it out here safe and sound!" "Of course, not like I had a choice anyway.."The elder Faraday Sibling snarks while Rin shakes her head at her brother. "Anyway.." Jalen continues.. "How you been? Haven't seen you or Lissa in a while.."


"We've been fine for the most part." Chrom shrugs with a non-chalant look "Training, dealing with our older sister's coronation as queen coming in 2 years from now..."Here he sighs as he recall a recent memory.."Losing to Xander again..."

Jalen nods with an understanding look while Rhiannon looks rather peeved..Both of them have fought Xander a couple of times since their generation have entered the Monster League...and they have all lost to him.
"The guy's pretty damn good...not much to add on to it." Jalen crosses his arms as he look onwards to the 2nd floor where he can see many other nobles talking to one another...and among them is the rather tall 6'2 blonde crown prince of Nohr, Xander Gotha.

For the record,  Jalen and Chrom are 5'8...Rin's 5'6...and Lissa's 5'3.

Xander is currently talking to Chrom and Lissa's older sister and Crown Princess of Ylisse, Emmeryn Leonhart. She don't train monsters, finding more interest in politics and helping her Ylissians out as she is groomed to take the crown from their father, Hector Leonhart.

"Man....the hardest thing about losing to Xander..." Chrom speaks up with a frown as Jalen finish it for him. "Is how he just doesn't see you as an equal...like we all know of his condition.." He alludes to Xander being on the spectrum... "And We all know he's not an asshole...but damn, he can be very blunt at time.."

"It's very annoying..." Rin grits her teeth in internal anger...she personally hate losing more than anyone and don't take it well like Jalen does.

She sighes as she shakes her head. "Regardless of that, how about you Lissa?" She figured she can change the subject to the youngest person in their group as Lissa beam with pride."Me and Nanna just got to Rank C! Now we're in the same rank!"

"Oh nice!" Rhiannon smiles, happy for her friend's accomplishment as does Chrom. "Yeah, she has been training pretty hard for the last couple of months...mother and father are very happy for her as well." Lissa nods with a proud look before she scowls and point at Jalen.

"And I shall have my revenge on you, Jalen! Don't think I haven't forgotten our last encounter at the Peridot Cup when you and Hilbert was in Rank D as well!"

Jalen gives her a rather disbelieving look before speaking up. "How could I...You always bring it up..." "Yeah, cause you had Hilbert beat the stuffings outta Nanna!"

"Look, You know me...I never show mercy to anyone..." Jalen crosses his arms and shrugs. "Nothing personal.."

"craaaaawling in my skiiiin...." Rhiannon whispers to Chrom, earning both a chuckle from him and an angry tickmark from Jalen. "Shut up!"

"It was so obvious..." Rhiannon smirks as Jalen roll his eyes and turn back to Lissa. "Either way..I'll be looking forward to our rematch..."

"Same here." Chrom speaks up to Jalen "We have a tied record if I recall correctly..."
"We do.." Jalen smirks "And I'll be sure to make it higher on my end."
Both of them smirk at each other as Rhiannon yawns, unamused by their ego-stroking. "Yes, yes, rivalry and all that...but who's the lady who have a winning record on BOTH of you?" She checks her nails with an bored look before smirking at both of their glares... "Oh right, that would be me.~"

"......"
"...."
"She got you 2 there." Lissa smiles at the 2
"ANYWAY..." Jalen roll his eyes... "I'm going to the refreshment table...gonna go get some food now." Chrom nods as he turn around to go up the stairs. "I'm gonna go check on mom and dad..."

"Guess that leaves me and you, huh?" Lissa look up at Rin.
"Yeah, ladies night." _Rin smiles and nods..

"Awwww yeah!"
And so, as the main 4 split up, none of them are aware of a pair of crimson eyes belonging to a brunette as she eyes Jalen from the back with a rather malicious look before disguising it with a more nicer look as she starts to walk towards him...
