  1. Name: Azur Salvator
  2. Age: 16
  3.
  4. General Personality:
  5. Azur Salvator's personality is defined by a lack of drive. He doesn’t have much motivation to do stuff in life and is very passive and lazy as a result, even when dueling. He just hopes things will just magically align for him some time in the future. Despite this fault, Azur is compassionate and empathetic, even if he doesn’t show it outwardly. When he gains the drive to support people, he will do it. When someone shows him compassion, he will be more motivated to care for them in return.

  7. Strengths and Flaws:
  8. (Strengths)
  9. Polite: Will always have good things to say to people, though make phrase it in an indifferent way.
  10. Patient: Will allow others to go at their own pace.
  11. Understanding: Will never judge others.
  12. (Flaws)
  13. Cowardly and Paranoid: Scared of many things and doesn't want to confront them.
  14. Low opinion of himself: Thinks he won't be able to do much in life
  15. Laziness: Doesn't put his all into his games nor strives for improvement.
  16.
  17. Backstory: Azur was born in a Central American country where the sea is a major factor in daily life. Born to a family with decent financial security, Azur's problems stemmed from the same issue, a lack of drive. For some reason, not of a lot of things motivated Azur, be it in academics or social activity. Azur would simply do the bare minimum on a daily basis. That is not to say he under performed in academics, but he would simply get the average and never seek improvements. This caused a lot of strife for his parents, who worried he will simply waste his life as an adult.
  18.
  19. However, one thing did motivate Azur, if only slightly, and it was Duel Monsters. Azur showed some passing interest in the game on a whim, which motivated his parents to provide him a deck they said was once used by a legendary duelist of the sea that once visited their country (they never specify who, and whether they made this up or not is unknown). While Azur developed a decent winning streak with this deck and a willingness to play often, he still often felt bored and took wins and losses with indifference. In hopes Azur will be rid of his chronic apathy and finally be proactive in his life, he was sent to this Dueling School under a special exchange program in hopes that interacting more with duelists will encourage him to finally strive towards his true potential.
  20.
  21. Deep down, Azur is afraid his apathy will make him live a lonely and unfulfilled life, but hasn't found enough energy or courage to break out of his shell. Can dueling many duelists in this school give him a chance to turn his life around? Let's hope so.
  22.
  23. Character Deck: A WATER Xyz deck with Tsunami Mako cards and the Shark series
  24.
  25. Character Look: Azur has tan colored skin, blue eyes, and brown hair that is unkept and covers his eyes. His most iconic attire is a button up shirt that has fish designs printed on it and a blue background, dark green khaki style shorts, and green sport sandals (no socks). He is a decent height of 6" 1 inches but walks with his head facing down and an arched back. On his neck he wears a sea shell necklace given to him by his father.
