  1. >Sayori walks over so you and her can spend time together
  2. >parents aren’t home but that’s neither here nor there
  3. >it just means you have the house to yourself and you can be as loud as you like !
  4. >she goes in your room and sees your computer
  5. >”what’s this anon?”
  6. >you have [insert your favorite vidya here]
  7. >oh n-nothing, heheh
  8. >she smiles and tells you not to be embarrassed
  9. >you shrug and tell her you’re playing [vidya]
  10. >her eyes widen
  11. >anon I love that game !
  12. >you guys play the game together, taking turns at opportune moments, but all the while talking about all of life’s long topics
  13. >the afterlife, video games, strange social trends and expectations, YouTube videos
  14. >it feels completely natural despite how nervous you felt when she came over
  15. >after a few hours your parents call you to tell you they’re gonna be gone until late that night.
  16. >you tell Sayori and she’s glad because she gets to spend more time with you!
  17. >you continue talking and eventually leave to grab a soda for you both as she takes her turn
  18. >she’s at the climax of the game so you rush
  19. >when you come back it’s strangely silent
  20. >you see the computer from across the room and notice it’s paused
  21. >you’re confused for a moment
  22. >Sayori ?
  23. >she jumps flailing and scares the shit out of you, but trips knocking herself onto as you both fall on the floor
  24. >you’re both laughing harder than you have in months
  25. >eventually the laughing simmers
  26. >I think you shook up the sodas Sayori
  27. >you both go into anther wave of laughter, now both cross legged and staring into each other’s eyes in your door entrance
  28. >theres a long moment of silence before you say, ”i love you sayori"
  29. >she gives you a strange hut authentic smile
  30. >I love you too anon, heheh
  31. >you both stand up, still staring at each other.and still smiling
  32. >she leans quickly in and gives you a peck on the cheek, and you both burst into laughter at the cheesiness of it all
  33. >yet it makes you feel strangely warm inside
  34. >for a brief moment you consider telling her this but decide not to ruin the sweet moment with forced sappiness
  35. >you pat her head and you both laugh as you walk back into the room, sitting on the swivel chairs and continuing the game
  36. >you continue talking, every once in a while acknowledging your progress and how far you’ve gone
  37. >your parents still are not here despite it being two in the morning, so you assume they went to a motel
  38. >You and Sayori are sitting very close, shoulders touching
  39. >Sayoris responses get slower and less detailed
  40. >you worry for a moment she’s stopped caring and is getting bored
  41. >you realize before it’s too late that she’s just sleepy!
  42. >right at the final moment of the game, she has her head against your shoulder
  43. >she’s breathing softly, she looks comfy
  44. >you smile and feel so happy you could die at that moment, content
  45. >the AC turns off and you hear nothing but the plink plonk action SFX and the game and Sayoris breathing
  46. >you beat the game and stay there for a few moments, feeling her warmth and passively watching the credits
  47. >the game ends and THE END shows up in all capitals on the screen, locking you into the end of the game
  48. >you wait for another moment, then get up, holding Sayoris head up so she doesn’t drop
  49. >you laugh at how silly she looks, leaned against your hand
  50. >you pick her up and set her on your bed
  51. >she instinctually in her sleep grabs one of your pillows and pulls it towards her
  52. >you laugh quietly again, staring at her
  53. >you grab some blankets and make a bed on the floor
  54. >you turn the light out, the only light now is the comfy light of the THE END screen
  55. >”goodnight Sayori”
  56. >she mutters something in her sleep
  57. >gunnhhh
  58. >you smile and drift off into sleep yourself, and for one of those rare moments, everything feels like it’s gonna be all right
  59. THE END
