  1. Masterkev here... this is all from a dream so I'm typing as much as I can remember without ruining what the dream showed me. Yes, the "killing all female employees" in the achievement below (which starts off the dream and the explanation of the heist) is odd... but I'm leaving it there for the soul purpose as to not change what the dream showed. (Maybe the contractor wants to leave a mark on Gensec?... Maybe the CEO of Gensec is female?... I don't know). But in any case - Here's the heist, dream, and explanation:
  2.
  3. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  4.
  5. Bain/Contractor:
  6. "Listen up gang! Gensec has pulled all the strings to make this building 'Impossible to rob'... Well today, we're going to change that. With coffee to books, this building is filled with every essential the average civilian needs... especially a bank. I've got word that Gensec is storing all of their unused cash [All the revenue that they create from selling rent-a-cops or the services of their bank itself] from the company in this very bank! That must be worth a fortune, don't you think? So break in, steal all of the money those greedy bastards own, and get out. Oh... There are also some security measures that you have to watch out for. Lasers... some sort of "scanning" technology... I'm sure a tough crew like yourself can figure it out. Let's get back at them."
  7.
  8. Things you'll instantly note:
  9. - Every civilian has a keycard (civilians do not respawn after getting shot or tied).
  10. - Every door is a Gensec door. Bain however, can supply you with 1-4 keycards (Depending on how many favors you use to get yourself free keycards).
  11. - There are guards in certain windows of the 2nd floor of some stores, while 3-4 of them patrol on the roof looking through the skylights and around the roof in general.
  12. - There are maintenance hallways! Hallways that interconnect the building itself. (Explained later)
  13. - Lasers. The vault, certain sections of the maintenance hallways, and even the middle of the hallway leading to the security rooms have lasers. If you place a keycard inside a panel in the security room itself - it turns off the lasers in the hallways. You don't know which security room has priority on the hallways though.
  14. - Excessive scanning. There is a random chance that a store (especially the bank having a 30% chance) to be "Scanned". 5-6 Cameras come out of ceiling compartments and scan the room for 15 seconds. These cameras can be broken if fast enough, but you cannot predict when they'll happen. Only one store can be scanned at a time (for each security room. So if there are 2 active - 2 scanning attempts can happen at the same time.) If both security rooms are taken out - scanning stops for good.
  15.
  16.
  17. This is the last straw. Gensec has had enough of the Payday gang that they created a giant mall in service for Washington DC. The mall has EVERYTHING. A heavily secured multi-level bank, a coffee shop, a lumberjack shop, bathrooms galore, a security room for each half of the building itself, a bakery, a library, a firearm store, a pharmacy store, and an antique shop. The mall is 2 stories high (with a roof... technically 3?), and has at least a single guard in every room (The bank has 3, each security room has 1, and in certain locations - there are some random cameras with no guard). The mall is interconnected (meaning, there is the main large "hallway" that connects all stores (like a normal mall) - and then there are some "maintenance routes" leading around each store with janitor rooms and random equipment rooms scattered about the hallways for hiding-room). Guards patrol only the store and the maintenance routes while a lot (at least 30+) of civilians are walking about the mall, going inside random malls and inspecting - before leaving to either leave for good or go into another shop (civilians that leave will momentarily respawn anyways). Here's the catch if you think you're going in loud: The entire mall is outfitted with anti-robbery equipment. The instant the alarm goes off - anything valuable is locked off perfectly. The only way to unlock the bank, all instant-cash items, loot of any sort, and any mini-safe or large safe that is not the bank - is to get into both security rooms (that are double-sealed (meaning there are 2 doors leading to each security room. 2 Gensec Doors). 1 Door - a hallway with a laser for every difficulty (it's a pretty large hallway. Deathwish = 5 lasers), and a 2nd door). If you and another heister presses a button in both security rooms 5 seconds apart from each other, then the lockdown is instantly removed. However, if you cannot make the button presses in time (or you're running in solo), you'll need to hack one of the security terminals completely - then push the other button in the 2nd security room. This map is huge, and each security room (there's only 2) is across the map from each other. If you find one, you can have a general idea where the other one may be. [This idea can be changed to which, the security room locations are completely random. But making it across the map gives stealth a little difficulty]. Hacking the terminal in stealth is almost instantaneously (about 10 seconds). In loud, you have to hack it while defending a power box or 2 in the same hallway the security room is nearby.
  18.
  19. (This is the only achievement I remembered when it came to the dream)
  20. Achievement: "Don't Forget The Magic Word"
  21. Defeat the Gensec Mall on Deathwish while building a cup, filling it with fresh water, leaving your mark, killing all female employees, and saying "Dum Dum". The cup cannot be destroyed.
  22. - Deathwish Difficulty
  23. - Build a cup made of wood (15-20+ pieces of wood in the lumberjack shop to build the cup. If there is no lumberjack shop - you can't do the achievement).
  24. - Fresh water is in the bakery and coffee shop
  25. - Leaving your mark (which is a secret) is placing the cup inside the dead center of the vault.
  26. - Typing "Dum Dum" after all of this is done will give you the achievement if you beat the heist.
  27. - The cup is vulnerable! A single bullet will destroy the cup. Cops don't target the cup - but if a stray bullet hits it, achievement over.
  28.
  29. Explanations of different things:
  30. 1. The interconnected hallways are about 2 players wide (no shoulder touching, etc. If the average heister (any of the crew) is about 4 feet from left to right - then the hallway is approximately 8-10 feet).
  31. 2. The main mall's walkways are large. Enough for the escape van itself to fit in easily inside the mall. The length from one side of the mall to the other (left to right) is 4x as much as the maintenance hallway.
  32. 3. Every civilian has a Gensec Security keycard due to them having to get a membership verified by Gensec themselves. This card allows them to go into bathrooms and other simple rooms (But you heisters will use them for "special" rooms/needs... or who knows?.. Maybe you need to hide body bags in the bathroom stalls?)
  33. 4. Gensec will revamp (add) the security by 1 guard if more than 6 civilians haven't left the map in 3 minutes or so. (The number of civilians may change depending on the difficulty or what Overkill decides to do).
  34. 5. There are multiple ways to escape! Many of the ways are even free! (Van, helicopter, etc). While others you have to use a few favors for (Armored escape in the dead center of the mall, another bus breaking into a wall near the vault, etc).
  35. 6. Many of the stores are random! Although there are easily 8+ stores in the map, some stores may change depending on your luck! That library you saw one time may be a firearm store for the next! Grenades and Ammo walls for ammunition! (Each 2 ammo walls require one keycard and all the grenades require one as well).
  36. 7. While some rooms in the maintenance are just janitor rooms and whatnot - you may actually open up bathrooms! Each bathroom stall is locked so you're going to have to drill a 30-second drill on each stall to try your luck. There's a 75% chance (Each difficulty reducing the chance by 5%) that a civilian [spawns] is in the stall! Take them down with a tie or shooting them to get the keycard from them. (This is in place to let the players still find keycards even if the heist went loud or if the crew is "bad"). Bain will also remind you about the bathrooms or janitor rooms for keycards if nobody in the crew has one... Like "Check the stalls or janitor closets, I'm sure there's a civilian still around here who's oblivious to what carnage you guys did!". (Janitor rooms may contain a janitor. Make him semi-rare for a special achievement?... He may also carry 4 keycards or so to make him worth-while. The chance of a janitor spawning in the room is remotely low (10% or so) - but bain will alert you saying something like "Look at that janitor. He must have some keycards to spare for you all." when the janitor spawns in. There are MANY rooms in the maintenance hallway (some are just for hiding, others are for bathrooms and other useful locations).
  37. 8. The vault door is huge. The vault door opens up 2 floors HIGH. It's a 2 story bank with the vault being the size of 2 floors as well. When the vault door opens - scanning or patrolling guards can easily see the whole vault (or a large majority of it) from the inside of the bank room.
  38. 9. The mall is shaped like a T (the 2 stores in the corners (in the middle) of the mall have 2 entrance-ways. The bank cannot be in those locations). The bank is in the dead center of the top of the "T", while the other stores are completely randomized.
  39. 10. There are plants and other decorative objects scattered throughout the main mall hallways. Think of a futuristic building and see how those plants are placed in the middle of the hallway all fancy-like.

  42.
  43. That's the end of the dream/heist/explanation... How did you like it? ... It's a bit odd - I'll tell you that much for sure... but it was cool as hell in my dream ^-^...
  44. 2/10/2015 - at around 7:00 PM EST I dreamt this. I won't edit this page one bit for true verification that this entire heist and dream was my own idea... or hopefully the first of its kind .u.
  45. I know some of the dream sounds stupid or outright unacceptable when it comes to either coding-possibilities or just the achievement having "kill all female employees"... But of course - this all can change... I don't have much power when it comes to Overkill using/taking this idea .x.
  46. But I will point out that I had a blast in the dream :D ... Keycards 'n such - random stores so you can't even plan out how to win in any (or most) situations. It's a beauty of a map that I wish was created. ^.^
