Psylocke - Rank 3 in the House of X's leadership, and an original Mutant with Omega-Level Telemorphic abilities. Cassandra Nova's bodyguard and probably the most mysterious member of the House of X, she claims to be from an ancient lineage of Telemorphic Mutant assassins native to Japan, who received a prophecy in ancient times of Cassandra Nova's birth and the "paradise" of a world she will create, and have sworn to serve the purposes of both ensuring her existence and protecting her ever since this prophecy. Now that Cassandra has come into the world, Psylocke, real name Higanbana, for the flower which separates the land of the living and the land of the dead, has been assigned to her as her bodyguard, being the most skilled in her clan. She has a disturbingly serene and calm personality, talking of murder and torture with a sweet, smooth voice that brings to mind a pleasant sunrise rather than a deathly assassin, and her tone of voice never changes, to the point it could be described as a kind of monotone. She claims to dislike killing and fighting, and would prefer her enemies just swear to serve Cassandra instead of her being forced to kill them, but even in the cases where they say "yes," she claims they have to suffer some sort of punishment for every individual crime they've comitted against her, which can range from the logical (trying to kill her) to the insane (not having already sworn to serve her), usually with torture in some way. Those who have accepted this ultimatum even after this is revealed are her personal servants in the House of X, known as her Lilies, and often have horrible scars to show for her mercy.

Other than this odd moral code, she's overall very pleasant with her comrades and even to her enemies, talking to them warmly despite having the full intent to kill them or worse, and never seems to bare any ill will to them - not even her expression changing usually. She likes to meditate and write poetry in her free time, whenever not training her telemorphy to stay sharp. She has a younger sister, around 6 years old at this time, that she treasures deeply and looks forward to the day she will guard Cassandra or her chosen Heir with her. She hates crude and manly people, regardless of gender, preferring elegance in all things, but even then will still offer her mercy to them - though their manly elements are considered sins worthy of torture afterwards. She wears a black Kimono with a spider lily pattern rising from the bottom, red and black sandals, a purple Haori based off the wings of a butterfly, and a sheathed straight Katana at her side - however, upon unsheathing the katana, one will see that there is no blade, just a short "key" instead to keep it in the sheath and release it when necessary. The side of the sheath is inscribed with a four-character Japanese idiom whenever the "blade" is being used, in her case most often 弱肉強食, meaning "the weak are meat the strong shall eat."  Her hair is black and tied in a bun at the back based off a spider lily, and is held up by a large, beautiful pin styled after a butterfly, made of gold framing and purple gemstones. Her face is soft and her ESP is dark purple. She normally has her eyes closed at all times, but whenever she opens them, it reveals they look like the japanese Rising Sun symbol, complete with beams.
