You are John Cassidy, a courier  trying to survive in a post apocalyptic world
 by scavenging among the ruins of what is left. You have a parcel of letters
 and a small pistol. It's a long and dangerous road from Boston to Charleston,
 but you're one of the only people who knows the roads well enough to get your
 parcel of letters there. You set out in the morning and hope that you can make
 it before nightfall

You turn off the radio and put away the pouch of money. The car engine starts
 up and you drive out into the darkness. You walk along the edge of the road
 for several minutes until you see something on the ground.

You pick up the map and begin to read.

The first thing you notice is the size of the state. It's bigger than any other
 place you've ever been. There are mountains all around and the land is covered
 with forests and fields. There are rivers running through the land too

You pull over at a gas station and start your truck up. You hear a voice from
 behind you.
"Hey man, where you headed?"
You turn around and see a young man with short hair and wearing a black t-shirt
 and jeans

"I'm heading north".
"North? That way?"
"Yeah, I'm going to try to find my family".
"Where do you think they might be?"

> say "In Charleston"

"Oh yeah, that town".
He looks at you as if he thinks you're crazy. He then turns back to his truck
 and drives off.
You don't know why you did it, but you decide to go after him anyway

You get out of the car and run after the young man. As soon as you reach him,
 you grab him and punch him in the face repeatedly. He falls backwards and you
 continue punching him. After about 10 punches, you finally knock him out. You
 check his pockets and find some money

You throw the wallet onto the ground and search his pockets. You find a few bills
 and a cell phone. You also find a note inside the wallet. It reads:
Dear John,
Thanks for saving me last night. I was so scared, but thanks to you I survived
