Some Tree Runes

He would look at the young man, and give a smile,  "My name is... Unimportant."  He would remove some his tools, and begin etching some things into the nearby trees. Rudimentary and beginner's runes. They were uncharged, weak, and would offer to be nothing at the time, but it didn't quite matter.

He would continue to carve those things into the tree, seemingly ignoring the boy that was there. He had gathered what he could from curiosities and other books he could pick up from. The best source so far had been the Ookami cave, but that was bear bones. He still needed to New Alteros and the library, but he didn't really care too much, and put it off.

His wandering was more important. Its how he made himself stronger, as cliche as that sounds.
