- 'Sup, doods!
- I am glad I picked up a proper pair of sunglasses. Does it actually help with eye strain from looking at screens? Who knows. That said, my eyes feel a tad better than they normally do without them. Good thing I have to go through the arduous task of editing the final credits sequence for the tournament. The biggest issue is that DaVinci Resolve does not let you customize automatically scrolling text very well and text you can customize more easily and scroll manually cannot be very long. I'm having to use dozens of text media to properly acknowledge every person that played and contributed to the tournament. I need to re-work the credits sequence to make it easier to edit at some point, but I don't have the time for that now.
- Oh yeah, I need to also prepare for the final match of the tournament, huh. Wonder how I'm gonna make time for that. I'll figure that out when everything else is done. Right now, I need to figure out how to get more sleep while getting everything to do out of the way. Mission: Impossible.
- Today's (permanent) extra streaming goals (actual priority is in constant flux):
- Goal #1: edit the credits sequence at the end of the LPS tournament.
- Goal #2: clip personal shorts from the last two streams. I wanted to do this yesterday, but at first I got too distracted and then I got too tired.
- Goal #6: script and record footage for my Puzzle League tutorial series. I have some scripts left to touch up before feeling comfortable with moving on to recording gameplay. Then I will need to record my talking points and edit it all together. This will need to wait until after the Tetris Attack tournament is done.
- Goal #7: clean up my own stream layout. Most of the framework necessary for a semi-proper stream is done now thanks to streaming the process. Next objective is to make transitions and alerts.
- Goal #8: release the Puzzle League tutorial series YouTube shorts once a day until they're all done. I really do think I need to time the release of the series with a ramping up of my streaming schedule so that I can take advantage of whatever there is to gain from releasing the shorts.
