Utterly Useful Utilities [1.7.10]

This is a mod consisting of my ideas and some ideas inspired

by others.

Tablet Of Multiplication:

A special item that can only be found as a rare spawn in

Nether Fortresses and Strongholds.

When placed in a crafting table along with any item in the

game (with some exceptions), it will double or triple that

item.

E.g, placing one diamond and a tablet of multiplication will

give me two or three diamonds.

Note that this special tablet has only four uses, and one item

at a time can be duplicated.

When paired with itself, it will create the Tablet Of

Exponentation, which is even more powerful, but has only three

uses.

Unstackables and stacks of items cannot be duplicated.

E.g, I cannot place half a stack of diamonds in the crafting

table and the T.O.M and expect to get one stack or a stack and

a half. Items can only be duplicated one by one.

Unstackable items cannot be duplicated.

E.g, I cannot place a minecart and expect to get two or three

minecarts

Tablet Of Exponentation:

Crafted by placing two T.O.M's in a crafting table. Pairing it

with any item in the game will double/triple it and then

square/cube the product.

E.g, if I placed one diamond, and got 2 diamonds and then that

got cubed, I would get 8 diamonds.

When this Tablet along with two diamonds (unstacked) are

placed in a crafting table, it will give the player the Gem Of

Exponentation, which is used for many crafting recipes, but is

extremely powerful, and because of it's extreme power, it is

very dangerous and unstable.

This tablet has the same limitations as the Tablet Of

Multiplication.

Gem Of Exponentation:

An powerful gem that contains energy which grows at an

exponential rate. This amount of energy grows so quickly that

it can cause spontaneous death, changes in weather, increased

tick speed and changes in time.

The gem's instability can only be neutralized by using emerald

shards. These can be created by placing one emerald into the

crafting grid, which will give the player 4 emerald shards.

These shards can be crafted back into emeralds by crafting

them in a 2x2 pattern.

Simply place the gem and an emerald shard to decrease the

chance of spontaneous death by 10%. Default rate is 60%. This

also stabilizies the potency of the dramatic effects the gem

has.

Power Shears:

Crafted similar to standard shears, but the iron ingots have

been replaced with Gems of Exponentation.

These shears are similar to standard shears, as they shear

sheep, break plants and wool, cobwebs, etc. However, they

allow you to shear Cows and Chickens. Shearing cows gives 1-4

leather and shearing Chickens gives 1-3 feathers. These

animals will regrow their clothing once they eat grass.

Ender Rod:

Crafted with one Blaze Rod and an Ender Pearl (shapeless).

This special rod is used in a bit of recipes.

Quantum Toolbag:

When SHIFT-RClicked, it will open a 5-slot chest-like GUI. By

holding down LCtrl and using the scroll wheel, you can scroll

through the items contents and use the items in the bag as if

you had them your hotbar.

Crafting with the following recipe:

GOE = Gem Of Exponentation

CST = Chest

Crafting Tablet:

An item that is a handheld crafting table. Will bring up

crafting GUI once RClicked.

What makes this tablet significant is that it can be infused

with other blocks (furnace, chest) by placing one of the

mentioned machines with the tablet in the crafting grid.

Instead of bringing up just a crafting GUI, it will bring up a

furnace, chest or both (depending on which you infused with

the tablet).

Tome Of Reversal:

A book that is found as a rare find in dungeon and stronghold

chests. When used, will restore your position, health, hunger,

XP, and potion affects from 5-6 seconds ago. Only has 5 uses

but can be combined with other Tome of Reversals to increase

their amount of uses.



+++ Scepters +++

Here are a few scepters the mod adds.

All scepters are crafted similar to a diagonal sword, but the

stick is replaced with an ender rod. and above the ender rod

is a gem of exponentation. Then with a certain material above.

- Scepter of the Magmus

Allows the player to place lava by right clicking on a block.

Simple, nothing more nothing less.

Crafting:

Similar to the wand above, but with water instead.

Allows the player to place dirt, coarse dirt, grass,

cobblestone, sand, red sand or gravel. Alt+Scroll Wheel to

select the block to place

SND = Sand

- Scepter of the Silkus

Similar to the Force Wrench from Dartcraft.

Pretty much silk touch, but can do things silk touch can't.

Can pick up any block silk touch can. And can pick up any it

can't. This includes spawners, farmland, lit furnaces, etc.

Saves block metadata when you pick up a container (chest,

furnace, hopper, cauldron, etc)

Use right click to pick blocks up.

- Scepter of the Constructus

Similar to the Builder's wand from Extra Utilities.

Can build many things. Shift+RCLICK with the wand in hand to

bring up a GUI menu. There are three tabs; Dimensions, Form

and Miscellaneous.

Dimensions allows you to modify the width & length/width &

height and depth & height/inward & outward length of the

figure.

This uses all three dimensions (width, length, height and

depth, depending on which face you're placing blocks on).

E.g, if I was building with stone blocks horizontally, I could

make the inward/outward length 3, width 3 and height 3.

Therefore, I would be placing 27 stone blocks with one right

click.

Form allows you to switch between three different forms. Cube

(which technically isn't a cube unless the measure of all

dimensions are congruent), Sphere and Pyramid

Cube is simple, it allows you to place a square of blocks when

the dimensions are unspecified or cubes or rectangular prisms

when they are.

The sphere is more complex, it allows you to create spheres or

3D ellipsis with one right click. The width and length will

make the sphere larger on the x axis. Height and depth will

make the sphere larger on the y axis.

And finally the pyramid. This allows for triangular-like

structures to be created. Same dimension configuration applies

to this form.

The Misc. tab has some extra features. This includes the

building material, right/left clicking in the slot that takes

the building material will place that item there, and the wand

will search your inventory for that item. If have an

inadequate amount of items required for the operation or do

not have any, the structure will place the last available

blocks from your inventory and leave the structure incomplete.

Secondly, you can toggle Hollow mode, which simply makes any

figure hollow.

Thirdly, halving is another option.

This halves the current figure. This will only work if the

width/length or height/depth are even measure and are

divisible by 2. You can do vertical halving or horizontal

halving.

Vertical halving halves the structure along the y axis. In

contrast, horizontal halving halves the structure along the x

axis.

One last feature of this scepter is the rotation.

Shift+UP/DOWN Arrow to flip vertically. SHIFT+LEFT/RIGHT Arrow

to flip horizontally. These figures rotate on the left/top

face of the figure, this can be configured in the Misc. tab.

Note that you may want to place torches inside these figures

if they are hollow, as mobs may spawn inside them (unless that

is your intention).

Note that dimensions are configurable using sliders and

textboxes. For those who prefer one or the other.
