>Rainbow Dash herself treated you wit more respect the more she hung out with you outside of her training. Messing with you, teasing you, secretly taking you on flights while fluttershy was sent to wait at RD's house for...reasons..a new one every day.
>At first it was very scary riding Rainbow dash without the safety gear, but with every flight. You got better at handling your bravery. And it was amazing, each and every time . Though RD herself was a lot gentler on her flight as well, since you had no safety gear on you, it was better safe than sorry.
>You had grown more curious about the details of the race as time went on. Asking Rainbow Dash about it, she tells you it's a special race in which anyone could participate and represent their hometown. But upon doing so, the race would stretch to making that town or city itself into a checkpoint. That sounded grueling.
>So far there was racers from Manehatten,Phillydelphia,Ponyville,Canterlot, and Cloudsdale.
>five racers? That didn't sound too exciting. But considering Rainbow Dash's speed. Maybe you were wrong.
>There were also preperations being done so others could view the race via a special thin tower that would project what "designated onlookers" would see into the air for the rest to see from any location.
>Sounded like special camera...but using ponies themselves.

>during these visits, you got to see inside Rainbow Dash's house. This style looked familiar, Greek? Was it called that? Pretty sure no place exists like that in Equestria though. Luckily, the inside of the home was solid, unlike it's cloudy exterior. Rainbow Dash lived like a queen,...with a lot of "Wonderbolts" memorabilia.
>This even looked nicer and better organized than Twilight's castle. and more modern than Rarity's place. You would have never taken Rainbow dash for having a home like this. It was rad.
>Fluttershy had started noticing changes in you as well, she smiled as you became more active and playful. Joking with Rainbow Dash and becoming more daring. She was proud you were getting up to get your own breakfast now. Happy that you were taking more interests in things outside the cottage. Even the Daring Do book was a good start.
>In fact, you yourself found yourself talking about the book you were reading with Rainbow Dash, who turned out to be a big fan. She didn't spoil anything for you though about the other books, or especially the fact the writer. A.K. Yearling is Daring Do herself.

You knew about a few of their bigger adventures, But nothing like their smaller ones.From dealing with beings called Parasprites to dealing with diamond dogs.Rainbow dash, while a little self centered in the way she told these stories, didn't make them any less interesting. You were enthralled.
>And so, the final day before the race came. You were ready for this day, with everything you've come to learn and understand and experience. The first thing you did as you woke up in the earlyish morning was......Make Sure Fluttershy was asleep....This time, you'd not only make breakfast for yourself. But for everyone as well. How hard could it be?
