Past Gen Championships (one playoffs per gen) involves qualifying points from Global Championships, Classic Cups and Seasonals (Type A - worth 60%), RoA / Smogon Tour (Type B worth 30%) and RoAST / RoALT (Type C worth 10%). BW and ORAS Summer Seasonals should be the last points needed to be collected.

RoA Forum Championship involves inviting all winners of major RoA tournaments, and RoA Forum Championship winners since the last edition to participate in either a division for a specific generation or the multi-gen division.
