  1. The gone (Mostly anyways) but not forgotten:
  2. Divine Spark [dead]: The old king, son of Piercing Shine, lived from 166-270, named you as his successor on his deathbed with no remaining direct and valid descendants still living. Most of the details of his life of written in sugar-coated books, but there are still some mysteries in his absence...

  4. Warhearted [?]: A former fearsome bandit king who once ruled over what is now your western territory. Befriended the old king and became a general of Stella before your time. You don't yet know what became of him.

  6. Branching Path [dead]: A former leader of a western tribe of earth ponies called the mud dancers, and ambassador, who fell in love with Divine Spark and became the old queen.
  7.  
  8. Steel wing [dead]: A merciless warlord and slaver from the old kings time, formerly based operations on Mt Pyre, who died in a fire attack long ago during a siege
  9.  
  10. Longinus Canterly [dead]: A unicorn who's adventures predated Stella. Legend goes he took a pegasi cloud city named New Cloudsdale within a week with only his own magic, among other feats.

  12. Ink Doodle IV [dead]: A writer, mainly wrote biographies of the old king.
  13.  
  14. Chieftain Randolph Elklight [dead]: Born in 243. Former ruler of the Elklight territory leading the deer and elk 'tribes', former head of House Elklight in the north, died soon after his duel with Mace Morningstar in 272 in a cluster of lightning bolts from magical back-fire.
  15.  
  16. Steel Buck [dead]: Formerly a warlord who controlled land to the SE beyond other territories, was quietly allied with Ironside, who he considered a friend. Died in 272 under unknown circumstances with twin children.

  18. Bandanna bandit [?]: An infamous unicorn robber of the northern region, famous for wearing bandannas all over his body to hide himself, who tried to mug you. Was promptly beaten to a pulp and is held in Riverbend’s jail, likely for life.
  19.  
  20. Rainheart the Positive [Dead]: A pegasus mare who was supposedly a companion of the first King of Stella and became the 5th knight, a long, long time ago. Died 20 years after Stella became an established kingdom. Influenced the Order of Harmony.

  23. Ponies (And Others) of the castle:

Frigid Flake: Your personal guard since youth, you grew up together and are closer than anypony else, promises he'll always be there for you as a loyal bodyguard, and while he has romantic feelings for you his loyalty and friendship is his priority. He was a unicorn but an accident with the royal wizard in 271 tuned him into a pegasus, you haven't talked about it much but he's adjusted well. Born in the year 255. Goes by the nickname of Fringe, better known than by his real name. Has begun to practice using a gem prosthetic horn. Can be a bit moody from time to time.

  27. Camellia: A bronze hybrid dragon with green fringes who hatched in the 8th month of 272. She is bonded to you, as an egg she spent two years together with you before hatching. She is a mix between gem-eater dragons and forest dragons.

  29. Lunar Beam: One of your newer personal bodyguards, a large earth pony from a construction family, easy going but quick to take action in a crisis.

  31. Midnight Gaze: A rookie guard, a unicorn who specializes in light magic, slightly lanky but swift. Always looks out for her fellow guards, even superiors, as she is naturally empathetic.

  33. Currentia: A bat pony who joined the guard a bit before the old king died, snarky but cute, great at sneaking and flanking maneuvers

  35. Nymphesker Balefire: Bastard lineage changeling born in 247, son of the old king Divine Spark and the queen of the changeling hive to the west, was imprisoned, has priority duty to his own hive before our kingdom. You bestowed upon him the title of Master of the Hunt, revitalized the huntspony tradition with his mercenary experience and connections, goes by the nickname Esker.

  37. Cyrus Firefeather: A griffon who served your father and the old king all over the kingdom. He has the most general know-how of how the kingdom was and is currently run. He has a sunny disposition, and is totally cool with you being slightly perverted.

  39. General Stark Styles: One of your generals, oversees operations in the northwestern regions and a weapons expert, a real professional.
  40.  
  41. Wormtongue: The regent between the old kings death and your coronation. Was here to help you adjust to your royal duties before you turn 16, has planned retirement at the end of year 272, lives in the capital. Has a peony pink mane and honeydew green coat.
  42.  
  43. Spymistress Nymphadora: Pink maned 'queen' changeling in charge of all things espionage and secret under the crown. A very playful attitude for her position, but respects you and provides useful info, even in a crutch.
  44.  
  45. Mace Morningstar: Your earth pony half-uncle, born in 213, a Knight Errant, who was gone for more than a decade on a vengeance crusade against a very dangerous cult who sought to destroy the royal family, came back successful but is hesitant to talk about it. Rough on the outside but has a gentle manner with friends.

  47. Renew Miracle: The royal doctor, a unicorn who's easy going about even the freakiest stuff, she's nearly seen it all... nearly.

  49. Whimsy Blast: The royal wizard, with a near-mastery over all basic spells, though she isn't quite as good as her predecessor yet, also experiments with alchemy and potions quite a bit. Has a strange accent from her former teacher.

  51. Brownie Bourbon: The royal chef, a mild demeanor but always making new dished to try out

  56. Bloody Chalice: A bat pony who is the Heir to the Bloodroyal family, your Consort and father to your first foal. Born in the year 258. Sweet and a little naive, was quite sensitive for coming from a tough family, but he's grown since you've first met into a proper adult (mostly).

  58. Indigo Evening: A light blue bat pony, operating as a personal guard of Bloody Chalice.

  60. Sunset Velvet: A dark red bat pony, operating as a personal guard of Bloody Chalice.

  72. Galehaut Meadowlark: Only son of lord Meadowlark, a young deer and currently leader of a battalion of aerial troopers, who has proven his worth in battle many times for his young age, strong with wind magic

  74. Galehaut Goldwind: A distant cousin from a noble family, born in 244. A dumb, arrogant pegasi snob who hates your guts and drinks too much wine, but due to his family status will remain a recognized member of the noble court. No relation to the Meadowlarks.

  76. Sunrise Ripple: A noble who’s usually in the capital to attend to the royal court, travels to get news and updates from some noble families

  78. Hydro Breeze: A white pegasus engineer from Gypsum with a purple mane, currently working with the inventors guild in the capital, family runs a spa. Very focused on his work, aloof to anything else.

  80. Glimmer Ore: A project head at the inventors guild who specializes in metal and weapons development.

  82. Cinder Elklight: Son of Randolph Elklight, you met him in the new seaside town of Ft. Minx. The youngest Head recorded of the Elklight clan, he was on a quest to restore his clans honor and magic, you help set him on the right path and became friends.

She says she comes from a long family lineage of huntsponies, but the picture her great grandmother looks a lot like one of the lost royal family members... you cannot confirm at this time if that is true, only knowing for sure she's related to Esker in some way as a distant cousin.

  181. Graph Stormwing: A griffon pirate lord, born 251 under a lunar eclipse, almost always on the seas or in a port, but a fierce enemy who can contest any navy.

  183. Zyzmic: A new Hippogriff warlord who overthrew Brawn Ironside's rule, came from a family of pirates and slaves, born in 247. Likes pole-arms, steak, and long flights on the beach. And crystals, apparently. You currently have a secret alliance with him.

  185. Swashwing: A young griffon fighter with allegiance to Zyzmic, with a very corn-walled accent and foul mouth.

  187. Smoky Grimmore: A unicorn with allegiance to Zyzmic, with a notably southern accent and cool head. Good with both language and strategy.
