Rant.

I'm guessing most of you clicked because of the title. This is my rant on Universe as a whole and how the server has gone downhill so much, that I don't even want to play.

Back when I started playing, in early 2017, the server was great. This was during season 3 or 4 when I started. The server was still fairly new, but had lots of exciting features. A good staff team, non-p2w, a great community, and most important of all, plenty of factions playing. My most favorite feature was tons of bosses that had awesome different drops. PvP was balanced and enjoyable, and if you died, you could just grab a new gkit and head back out into the warzone.

Ever since after season 9 or 10, the server has gone way downhill. There are too many servers, most of them dying out within a week or so of release. The staff team is horrible, too many staff who have absolutely NO idea what they are doing. There are a couple factions who run the whole server. There is so much pay to win, and an extremely annoying message that is permanently on screen asking you to donate.

Lying and broken promises. The server admins don't abide by some of their promises. "This will be fixed", "This will be added", "There will be mid map content addons". Most of the time, it never happens. I don't want to point names in particular, but I'm going to have to later on. The problem is that some staff will straight up lie to your face and tell you that something has been fixed or a player has been banned, but it hasn't. That is just extremely disrespectful in many ways.

Unoriginal content. The server has many features that differ from other servers, don't get me wrong. But there is so much unoriginal content and most of it is taken from other servers. I don't know what they do during the 1-2 weeks that they take to reset a server, but when the changelog comes out and it has at most 8 things changed, that makes me really not want to play. Over the year or two that I've been playing, Universe has been lost in that "Unoriginal server" category that I no longer want to even play on.

Garbage staff team. Here's the part that I really don't want to write, but I have to. Staff are sometimes so ignorant that they don't even know the server that they staff on. One of the worst staff members in this case is GetTheShotGun. He is blatantly ignorant and half the time, doesn't know the gamemodes he is even staffing on. For example: "This cannon was shooting at Y255.5, thus making it above Y256." There is so much wrong with that sentence that it makes me cringe. First of all, you physically cannot stack half blocks of sand. That's not how Minecraft works. Second of all, 255.5 is not a bigger number than 256? I don't even know how you came up with that. The fact that higher-up management will let staff members (specifically helpers and moderators) abuse for their faction/island/cell without being demoted, then demoting several administrators who actually knew how to do their job for making one or two mistakes, is quite honestly unacceptable.

Conclusion. To wrap this up, I've basically quit Universe's gamemodes and am planning on stopping donating completely. I no longer have an interest for the server. The combination of unoriginal content, horrible staff team, awfully planned resets, and extreme p2w and money grab behavior has led me to quit all but one of the factions realms, and all of the skyblock realms.

I guarantee this post will be taken down and I will probably be banned from the forums for this, but I just wanted to write this because I wanted to expose the flaws.
