Dreamcast and PC v1/2 can still play and connect on legit consoles and use the saves from 16 years ago if you have either a BBA adapter for Dreamcast or a dialup service.
The UK can use http://www.myfreeisp.co.uk/ to configure the 33k modem using a dream passport disk and plug straight in the socket and connect to https://sylverant.net/
Non-uk players will need to use a code breaker and create a network bridge to get online, its recommended to just play V2 the PC version, its the same game, ported to PC and can play with the dead DC community.

you already know about the series and have played before, but can't face the low level grind or simply don't have the time or motivation
SANDBOX mode was added just for you.
Use server commands to craft and create a character and items at the point you want to start at.

Perhaps you just want to cut straight to ULT lv 80 and a couple of essentials for ranger, or try out a specific build to optimise a cmode run or just simply recreate the lv 200 you had on other servers that no longer exist

you need to make a specific account for SANDBOX mode on Ephinea because they are segregated from the legit players, its only fair that the sandboxers get to play with other sandbox mode players.
