She loved life in the popular and bustling city, but her real interest in life was dance. She started ballet when she was 3 years old, and continued with new genres such as contemporary and hip hop. She was a part of this large dance crew and went whenever they went to film covers. She got into kpop when her Friend introduced it to her when she was 13 and she immediately fell in love with it. It would help her connect to her Korean side and develop her passion for performing. After a year, she flew to Seoul to audition for JYP but they didn't accept her.
