We all have our picture of the perfect vacation, but how does that vacation look for a rich politician? Well, Zeljko Kerum decided to spend his free time together with his family, which is not that surprising, but where did they go? For those of you who still do not know, Zeljko Kerum is a Croatian politician and entrepreneur, who was born on September 25, 1960. Between 2009 and 2013, he was the mayor of Split, after which he did not succeed to qualify for the next round of elections.
How much do you know about his early life? Zeljko Kerum was born in the Dalmatian hinterland, in a village of Ogorje. He was able to study and graduate from a Technical High School in 1978, Split, Croatia. After that, he decided to get his first job in 1981 as a constructor in Split for a company called Melioracija, as he spent a year in Iraq because of the military. A couple of years later, in 1989 Zeljko Kerum founded a company called Kerum and had its first opening in 1990.
About 6 years later, he chose to open his first supermarket in Split, in the Lora neighborhood. However, he did not stop there, as he bought the Diokom Industrial Facilities (ex-Jugoplastika) in 2003, after which in 2007 he also opened the largest Dalmatia shopping mall at the time, called Joker. The Joker Mall has been requested all over the world, as many people are trying to buy the name and the building. However, Zeljko Kerum has refused every offer so far, because his son is the one who will be handling business regarding Joker from now on.
In 1989, Zeljko Kerum married a beautiful woman named Anka Lalin, and they have three kids, two daughters, and a son. To everyone's surprise, in 2009, Zeljko Kerum suddenly announced that he is divorcing his current wife just so he can be with his pregnant lover, Fani Horvat. You might be shocked to know that Fani Horvat is nearly 25 years younger than him, then again that is very common in the celebrity life. As much as this made him happier, it caused an outburst in the media, that called him a hypocrite, since he always presented himself as a man who values tradition.
Currently, Zeljko Kerum can be seen enjoying the sun and the beach. He is on this vacation with his current wife, Fani Horvat, who is also the mother of his two sons, the 4-year-old Fran and the 2-year-old Zvonimir. As they are on the beach, you can clearly see that his wife, Fani Horvat, is going to have another kid soon, which is not a big surprise, seeing that he also had three kids with his previous wife. Currently, he is enjoying some quality time with his family, while teaching his sons how to swim and driving his whole family on his yacht.
