born to a family of science and math geeks, it was a real wonder how ryujin became the music-loving dancing machine she was. she discovered her love for dancing at the age of 4 when she watched a street dance performance. she found herself imitating every move, although a little clumsily. after years of begging her parents, they finally agreed to let her take dance lessons with a couple vocal ones on the side. from then on, she learned every type of dance she could. around the time she was in middle school, she discovered kpop and absolutely fell in love with the genre. she always knew she wanted to perform and make people happy through her dancing, but she only ever got so far as her dance recitals. so, she convinced her parents to let her take an audition to pursue her dreams
