  1. Out the door and into the town, Bubble was his usual, bubbly self, if not bubblier in the knowledge that the mixing and matching of his potion had worked. Well, maybe not entirely the way he intended, but it definitely did something. Timid Dusk, somehow more timid than usual, could attest to that, and Bubble didn't mind the sneaking glances the lagging pony gave - in fact, they made him feel more excited about his concoction.
  2.
  3. Trotting along, Bubble greeted the people of Ponyville as he always did: loudly, excitedly, and with that iconic Bubble Berry grin, just a little larger than usual. He could tell some of the townsfolk were a little put off by the change in size. Now that Dusk mentioned it, he was definitely, obviously, without a doubt, bigger. Twice his usual size, and maybe getting larger.
  4.
  5. If it had been anypony but Bubble followed by the magically-inclined Dusk, someone might have asked what was wrong with him. Ponies didn't tend to get to his size without being of alicorn descent, after all. But they knew the drill at this point - magical mishaps were Dusk's specialty.
  6.
  7. Little did they know, this time, it was entirely on Bubble, who proudly paraded his enlarged form down the street, a spring in his step as they drew ever closer to Dusk's abode. The thought excited him, but not as much as the feeling ping-ponging around his body was. A zap here, and a zap there. Every time he greeted somepony, even with his enlarged size, they all seemed to take it in stride, and every pony who seemed happy to see him seemed to provide another, subtle zap to his system, as if he were somehow soaking up each bout of happiness.
  8.
  9. "Say, Bubble?" Dusk asked. The words caused him to stop. He heard an alarmed "oof!" behind him as the unicorn's head popped against his backside. He grinned at that, turning around to see his friend.
  10.
  11. "Yeah, Dusk?"
  12.
  13. "Would you mind not, um, jumping around as much?" he asked, meekly. Bubble hadn't noticed, but his enlarged size had been having a bit of an effect on the town. Subtle tremors from his naturally bouncy self throwing weight he'd never before had around with full force.
  14.
  15. "Oh!" he exclaimed, genuinely concerned. "I'm so, so, sorry Dusk." And he was - he didn't want to hurt anyone like this. Quite the opposite.
  16.
  17. "That's okay," Dusk smiled. "We're almost there, anyway."
  18.
  19. It took all of Bubble's willpower to not spring forward once more. The tingling sensation was at an all-time high near Dusk as the two now moved, side by side, toward the hollowed tree his friend called home.
  20.
  21. "So, what is it you made that potion for, Bubble?" Dusk asked, still eyeing the enlarged pony up and down with a hint of suspicion. "I expected the mess was from some kind of cake, or a...a new kind of soda or something. Magical things are usually my territory."
  22.
  23. "Oh!" Bubble jumped a little, making Dusk step back, obviously intimidated. "Oops. Sorry. Um. Well... Like I said - I can't be everywhere at once, right? How am I supposed to make everyone happy all the time if somepony in Canterlot needs me but I'm all the way over here in Ponyville?"
  24.
  25. "Uh-huh," Dusk said, eyes narrowed.
  26.
  27. "Well, I started noticing in some of those books I borrowed, there were these...ideas. About, about being somewhere and someplace else at once. About being everywhere at once! And...and being a good ruler by being everywhere, so you could satisfy everyone, anytime!"
  28.
  29. "Wait, ruler? Bubble, what have you been reading?"
  30.
  31. "Oh, I don't want to rule anything, silly." He patted Dusk on the head, the smaller unicorn giving him a slightly patronized look. "That just seems to be how it was written. So, I figured I'd go through the books, take a bunch of the ingredients some of the writers thought would help, and, well... Mix 'em all together and see what happens!"
  32.
  33. "Bubble!" Dusk scolded. "That's extremely dangerous!"
  34.
  35. Bubble shrank back. Being scolded, he felt at least half Dusk's size, even if he could currently pin him beneath his rump. "I'm sorry, Dusk, I guess I was having so much fun making the stuff I didn't really think about what could happen. But, hey - it turned out alright, didn't it? I've never been this HUGE before!"
  36.
  37. Dusk gave an exhausted little smile. "As long as you aren't in pain or anything, but we should really find out what's wrong with you." They both stopped, they were there. Only, there was one tiny problem. Well, in Bubble's case it was tiny - in Dusk's, it was quite large:
  38.
  39. The door was too small.
  40.
  41. Getting out the door back at Bubble's place was one thing, but now... Had he grown the subtlest amount? Inching upward surreptitiously with each step, already so enlarged that those extra inches had eluded him and Dusk?
  42.
  43. It seemed so.
  44.
  45. "Um, Bubble?"
  46.
  47. "Yeah?"
  48.
  49. "Did you get bigger?" Dusk asked, rhetorically.
  50.
  51. "Yep!"
  52.
  53. "Great," he sighed. "Alright, well, better get you in now, before anything else happens."
  54.
  55. "Um, are you sure?" Bubble bent down to peer at the doorway. It seemed so tiny. How was he supposed to get in there? "It seems a little...cramped."
  56.
  57. "It's much roomier inside," Dusk assured him. "And if you're getting bigger, I don't think we have too much time."
  58.
  59. Bubble nodded, a determined look on his face. "Alright, I'll try, Dusk!" He bent over and gave the unicorn a quick peck on the cheek, causing Dusk to stagger back, looking around, obviously making sure nobody saw that.
  60.
  61. "Not out here!" Dusk whined, cantering in place a bit. "Come on, Bubble - inside!"
  62.
  63. It took Dusk's pleading to make him not go in for another, maybe with a bit more tongue this time - a tongue he could use to try and fill Dusk's mouth and then some. It was obvious Dusk wanted it, so why not? He was obligated to do everything he could to make his friend happy, after all. His grin widened at the thought, but he complied. "Okie dokie," he said, lowering himself toward the door.
  64.
  65. Poking his head through, he started to think it might not be too hard. "Hey, this isn't so bad!" he said, peeking into the library. Easing both his forehooves through, he began to gain traction, wiggling his slightly pudgy body inward. "Uh oh," he said, as he could feel the door's sides groaning a little from his movement. "Dusk!" he called out, "Dusk, I'm getting a little caught."
  66.
  67. He heard a sigh from outside. "Just keep going. I can fix the door later."
  68.
  69. Reassured, Bubble began to slide his stomach through, ignoring the creaks and groans as he eased himself in. "Allllmmost there," he muttered to himself. But then, inevitably, Bubble froze. "Dusk!" he called back. "I'm..."
  70.
  71. --
  72.
  73. Stuck.
  74.
  75. And stuck his friend was. Dusk pressed a hoof to his face, ashamed he hadn't thought of this in the first place. Of course this would happen, of course! Bubble had eased himself in well enough. His head, his shoulders, his belly, but then...
  76.
  77. Butt, then.
  78.
  79. Two thick mounds of pink pony rump lay half-jammed in the doorway. Plush hips straining against an already cracking passage. If the kisses hadn't been enough to rouse Dusk's poorly concealed desire for Bubble, this compromising position certainly was the tipping point. But now? Here? People were staring - he couldn't blame them. How often was a giant pink pony trying to force his way into a house?
  80.
  81. And how often did one get stuck?
  82.
  83. The wobbling cheeks were straining, the subtle shadow of Bubble's big, round balls hinted just below that, and his hind hooves were splayed out. If that was a sight he saw inside his house, he might...
  84.
  85. "Dusk! I can't move anymore," Bubble whined. The colt was wiggling the best he could, but the only thing that did was cause the two enlarged orbs of pink pony flesh to wobble tantalizingly. "Can you push?"
  86.
  87. Push? Dusk gulped, suddenly turning beet red - a difficult task for someone who was normally a rich purple. But ponies were watching, and the largest, plushest posterior he'd ever regarded lay waiting in front of him, his for the touching. He simply couldn't. Maybe he could get some of the other watching ponies to help, but... The tingling on his lips remained from the countless assaults from his larger colt companion. His heart raced and he made a snap decision.
  88.
  89. Positioning himself in front of the enlarged cheeks, Dusk set about his task with an eagerness unbecoming of the normally quiet colt. At first, he sunk a single hoof into one of the cheeks. He heard a surprised "Oh!" from the other side as Dusk half-heartedly pushed. It was so soft, he was already sweating, resisting the urge to knead the supple rear.
  90.
  91. "Um, I think you need to push a little harder than that," Bubble said, voice muffled through the wall of his own flesh.
  92.
  93. Fine. Two hooves, then. Dusk leaned forward, pushing forward a little more. The two enlarged hind legs next to him started pushing forward in unison, but to no avail. Panting, Dusk regarded the rear, unsure how to go about it. This time, he put his back into it, body pressing in between the cheeks while he skid his hind hooves across the ground. "Come on, Bubble, push!" he cried out, watching the two much larger legs next to his own springing to action.
  94.
  95. He heard the grinding from the much too small doorway as his body continued to sink into the supple rear end, fatty flesh adhering to his form. Grunting in unison with Bubble from the other side, he couldn't help but think unbecoming things about his friend, things that only made him turn redder in the face of the confused onlookers.
  96.
  97. "What, you've never seen somepony helping his friend before?" Dusk cried, indignantly. This was all too much, if he didn't get Bubble in soon he'd...he'd...
  98.
  99. There was a sudden, loud crack, and stumbling back, he soon found himself being jettisoned through the broken doorway, a bit of debris blowing through the air, his fall cushioned by his friend's broad backside.
  100.
  101. Broader than before, he realized, as he, too dazed to get up just set, gingerly padded the cheeks that crested up on both sides of him.
  102.
  103. "Bubble, did you really get..."
  104.
  105. --
  106.
  107. Bigger.
  108.
  109. The word had flashed through his head the moment Dusk touched his backside. The first, mild prod to his rear had sent a jolt of lightning up his body, and with that jolt, he was sure he had just snagged another inch of size from his strange potion.
  110.
  111. He thought to warn Dusk, but he had to get through this door, didn't he? Isn't that what Dusk wanted? Besides, that feeling, with Dusk pushing and prodding in such an intimate place. It was starting to get him going.
  112.
  113. And what were a few more inches between friends?
  114.
  115. As Bubble put in some minor effort to force his way through, he found himself enjoying the electric sensation Dusk was leaving with his touches. It was like he had a Dusk-shaped toy bouncing along on his rear, and he loved it.
  116.
  117. Only when Bubble began to feel the urgent pressing of his friend, the relentless, forceful shove of Dusk's body on his butt, did Bubble realize how badly Dusk wanted to get him in. Feeling a little guilty, and with those extra few inches - or was it feet? Who was counting, anyway? Bubble began to use his enlarged legs to pump himself through, sure that the door would not be able to deny him any longer.
  118.
  119. And, suddenly, the doorway cracking behind him, Bubble slid inside, colliding with the wall and sending dust and books tumbling around the room.
  120.
  121. Resting there a moment longer, in the sudden wreckage of the library, littered with too-small tomes and a few scattered shelves, Bubble wiggled a little, checking for the familiar impression of his friend, cushioned between his cheeks. At first, he was satisfied to let him lay there, until that less carnal part of him kicked on. Dusk might be hurt!
  122.
  123. --
  124.
  125. A wall of plush pink pony hoof descended upon Dusk's fleshy bed, and he soon found himself being gingerly placed upon the floor. "Dusk, are you okay?" Bubbles's slightly deepened voice asked from above him.
  126.
  127. Still dizzy, the unicorn said, "Yeah, Bubble, I'm fi-"
  128.
  129. Them, just how high above him the voice was made Dusk look up for the first time. And up. And up. From the mounted hind legs that surrounded him on both sides, to the fuzzy pink chest that crouched a little over him, all the way up to the nervously smiling face of his friend, crouching just below the ceiling.
  130.
  131. "Um, hi!" he said.
  132.
  133. Dusk nearly fainted.
