Summer Vacation Update

HUGE update for all of you! Please read the entire thing before commenting. This update will cover the next two weeks, what content will be coming out, and the future of all my series.


First, TOMORROW (for most of us), Monday July 15th at 2PM EST I will be doing a livestream on my Twitch channel with Kotie. We plan on working on and hopefully finishing the island for the hardcore series. I'd love to see some of you there!

Second, there will be one, maybe two, more hardcore survival island episodes before we end the series. There are a few reasons we're ending. We don't want the series to be a typical "let's play" as we already run those kinds of things on our channels. Extending the series past a few more episodes would be tedious and not in line with our vision for the series. Furthermore, the series has not done well on Kotie's channel, and thus he no longer wants to continue recording it, which I completely understand and agree with. The point of the series was a dual-survival series, so that means I will be ending my perspective as well. We're thinking there will be two more videos, but you all will find out within the next week or so. Also, it seems like people took the fishing video joke at the beginning of episode 10 kind of serious. It was more of a joke, and we didn't reach the like goal anyways, so one of the episodes will not be a fishing video.

Third, videos will be sporadic throughout the next two weeks. I have some IRL things happening very soon (nothing bad, I promise). I'm leaving early Wednesday morning and won't be back until late the following Tuesday, so I'll be gone for roughly a week. I don't have much already recorded, so in terms of the content on the channel, there won't be much on the channel for the next two weeks or so until I get back and am settled. I'm hoping to have at least one video of every series done and releasing while I'm gone, but I won't know fully until late this Tuesday. This also means that there won't be any streams either. My last stream until I'm back will be the hardcore stream tomorrow, and I don't plan on getting back to streaming until the Friday after I return.


Lastly, I'll be setting up a new upload schedule soon that I can hopefully stick to. The plan is three videos per week: two Fyr's Frontier and one AfterLife every week. If I can get more out I will, but with my third year of college quickly approaching I will have less and less time to record, so I'm trying to set up a schedule that will work for college as well. I do have some plans for extra videos, such as tours of White's World and Survival Experience to officially wrap up the series, as well as some tutorials I want to do, but those still need to be planned and probably won't be out for a while. They're also extra videos, so there won't be any set upload schedule for them. The stream schedule will also probably be reduced to 3 streams per week instead of 4, although I'm not entirely certain on that yet. I will keep you all updated with what I decide!
