  1. BEGIN DAY 5
  2.
  3. >You are slow to rise the next morning, the previous night’s activities weighing on you.
  4. >A healthy salute of morning wood greats you as you stare at yourself in your room.
  5. >You are tasked with the question to leave it, or whack it.
  6. >Your stomach makes your decision for you.
  7. >You can always whack it later. The fap fuel is stronger than ever.
  8. >Right now, though, you’re hungry as fuck.
  9. >You put on some clothes and head down the hall, stopping to peek in Lyra’s room first.
  10. >Huh.
  11. >She’s not in there.
  12. >You turn and see the bathroom door still open.
  13. >A loud cacophony of commotion advises you on her whereabouts.
  14. >You casually stroll into the kitchen, and the sight before you could leave a smile on your face for days.
  15. >Lyra is trying to fix something to eat.
  16. >The key word here being ‘trying’.
  17. >With only her forehooves for all tasks and not an ounce of practice, the place looks like hell.
  18. >You cross your arms and lean against the opening to the kitchen.
  19. “Morning, beautiful.”
  20. >She yelps and drops the measuring cup that until recently occupied her hooves.
  21. >Luckily it was empty.
  22. >”Oh! G-good morning, Anonymous! And thanks, but you don’t have to flatter me.”
  23. “I wasn’t flattering. I was being honest.”
  24. >Lyra turns back to the fallen measuring cup and picks it up again with both hooves.
  25. >”Please. I’m hideous.”
  26. >Yeah, she pretty much is.
  27. >But you still love her.
  28. >You’ve walked into the kitchen and are standing behind her as she works by the counter.
  29. >You run your hands over her shoulders lightly.
  30. “Well, if you’re so hideous, then I wonder what’s keeping me around.”
  31. >You bend down and peck her on the top of her metal head near a cluster of wires and lines.
  32. >It’s still weird, and you know that she can’t feel them, but you love to kiss her regardless.
  33. >”Mm. If I had to pick something, it must be my awesome flank.”
  34. >She wiggles her rump at you to emphasize her statement.
  35. >Well! She’s certainly gotten bold.
  36. >Not that you mind in the least.
  37. >And Lyra does have a pretty choice flank.
  38. >You reach down and give her bottom a little squeeze.
  39. >She yelps again, dropping the measuring cup once more as she whips her head around to you.
  40. >It’s still empty, thank God.
  41. >”Anon!”
  42. “What? You tease me, I take the bait. That’s how it works.”
  43. >She chuckles and picks the measuring cup back up while you walk over and start the coffee machine, only to find-
  44. “Lyra?!”
  45. >”What?! What is it?!”
  46. “Did you already make coffee?!”
  47. >”Oh! Yeah!”
  48. >By God, you love this mare more every day.
  49. >”I figured you could use the boost after last night’s run. I’m still really sorry about that. I just...freaked out, I guess.”
  50. “And I told you, it’s alright. Stop worrying about me!”
  51. >You fix a cup and sit at the table, content to simply stare into the dark elixir.
  52. “So, what’s all this for, anyway?”
  53. >”It’s for...everything, really. You’ve gone out of your way just to help me through this. The only thing I’ve done is show up at your door and cause trouble. It’s the least I can do.”
  54. >Shit.
  55. >This mare is too nice to you.
  56. “Well...Thanks, I guess. But you haven’t been a burden. In fact, you’ve given me something already.”
  57. >”Oh? What’s that?”
  58. “Something to look forward to.”
  59. >She fidgets and mumbles a few things.
  60. >God, she’s adorable when she’s flustered.
  61. >You take another sip of your coffee and listen to the sounds of Lyra’s cooking.
  62. >You don’t have much in your house, so you’re not exactly sure what she’s making.
  63. >There’s no chance she actually went to the market…
  64. >...Right?
  65. >”I’m sorry, but it isn’t much.”
  66. >Lyra balances a plate on one hoof.
  67. >Again, that three legged walk thing.
  68. >”I didn’t have much to work with here, and I’m not the best cook. I only know what Bon Bon’s taught me.”
  69. >She sets the plate in front of you, and although it’s not much, it’s more than you could have ever asked for.
  70. >It’s been years since the last time a meal was cooked for you in this manner.
  71. >Eggs, some fried hay, and a small salad on the side.
  72. >You can tell Lyra is waiting for your opinion on the food as she stand and waits patiently.
  73. >You pick up your fork and dig in.
  74. >Eggs can only be so good, but regardless, Lyra can make a mean fried egg.
  75. >You smile at her as soon as you swallow the first bite.
  76. “This is great, babe!”
  77. >”Th-thanks! I’m glad you like it.”
  78. >She shuffles a bit more, clearly nervouscited (thanks, Pinkie) from having the compliment and the nickname you ‘accidentally’ slipped in.
  79. >”I’ll, uh...I’ll just be in here.”
  80. >Her tail sways back and forth as she leaves.
  81. >Clearly she’s enjoying herself.
  82. >You go back to your meal and let your mind wander.
  83. >As you nearly finish your meal, there’s a knock on the door.
  84. >You rush to the living room.
  85. >Lyra is looking at you.
  86. >You mouth and motion for her to get in the spare bedroom.
  87. >She quickly and quietly leaves, shutting her door behind her.
  88. >More knocking from the door.
  89. “Just a minute!”
  90. >You look around for any signs that may look suspicious.
  91. >Your couch.
  92. >Fucking hell, it really does look like you stabbed someone to death on it.
  93. >You run to your room and pull a spare sheet out of your closet, draping it over the blood-stained couch.
  94. >Better.
  95. >You finally go to open the door and are instantly greeted by the crooked gaze of Derpy.
  96. >”Hiya, Anonymous!”
  97. “Hey, Derpy.”
  98. >”Got a letter for you. Said it was important or else I would have just left it in your mailbox.”
  99. “Oh, well thanks.”
  100. >She fishes around in her saddlebags and pulls the letter out with her mouth.
  101. >It was a little awkward at first, taking things from p0nies’ mouths, but you got used to it quick enough.
  102. >”Well, I’d better get back on my route. Your place is kinda out of the way.”
  103. “Ah, sorry about that, then.”
  104. >She’s already flying off by now.
  105. >”No problem! Have a good day, mister!”
  106. “You too, Derpy!”
  107. >You close the door examine the letter.
  108. >There’s a royal seal with TS in the middle.
  109. >It’s impossible not to know who this is from.
  110. “Lyra? You can come out now.”
  111. >You hear the door open as you walk back into the kitchen to finish the last of your meal.
  112. >Lyra’s hooves clop against the tile as she enters.
  113. >”Who was at the door?”
  114. “Mailmare.”
  115. >You’re too engrossed in the letter to see her non-verbal response.
  116. >Sitting down, you start to open the letter.
  117. >You’re terrible at opening letters, so the envelope turns into a fucking mess.
  118. >Letter in hand, you are greeted by a piece of stationery written in something not consistent with Spike’s usual penmanship.
  119. >Twilight must have written this herself.
  120. >You read the message to yourself, careful to keep it out of Lyra’s view, lest it divulge something about her recovery or something about your last encounter:
  121.
  122. Dear Anonymous,
  123.
  124. Please don’t read this letter in front of Lyra.
  125. >That can’t be good.
  126. I’ll get the small stuff out of the way. I was able to catch up to Rainbow Dash and things between us couldn’t be better, but I’m sure you don’t care about that. I would have sent word sooner, but we’ve both been preoccupied for the time being.
  127. >You can take a guess at what’s keeping them preoccupied.
  128. I am still not able to leave my castle due to my current situation, but I would still like to take a look at Lyra’s progress. After some research and reflecting on what you’ve told me, she may be dangerously close to the tipping point of when her self-healing becomes destructive to her survival. However, as long as nothing happens to push the repair forward, we should have roughly two weeks. Possibly longer if we involve professional medical care, but even then it’s uncertain.
  129. I must stress as much as I can that you CANNOT engage in any intimate activities until we find a surefire way to bring her back. To give you an idea of the scope of your influence, your little ‘shower fun time’ did four weeks worth of repair in minutes. Now, although Lyra still looks a long way from being repaired, that’s not what I’m basing the two-week time-limit on. Judging from your information about both intimate acts and Lyra’s reactions, her digestive tract or respiratory system are the current targets. We have a better shot at keeping her alive if her digestive tract is targeted. With the help of a hospital, we can keep her body nourished like the machines embedded in her are currently doing. However, if her respiratory system is fixed, there is a chance that the other machines will fail, judging from how crucial it appears to be, and we don’t know enough to keep them running.
  130. Despite all of this gloomy news, I believe I may be on to something that could accelerate her self-healing in one go, effectively returning her back instantaneously. However, I do not feel comfortable discussing it over a letter, so I’ll need to speak with you in person about it. And believe me, it’s a long shot.
  131. Also, Dash said that she would like to apologize to you, but she will be staying at the castle for the time being.
  132. So, with all of that said, the sooner you get here, the better. I know you can’t just walk over during the day because of the risk. But I know how clever you are. You’ll think of something. If you end up travelling at night, head to the right side of the castle. I’ve placed a guard there to watch for you throughout the week. He will lead you inside and has been sworn to secrecy.
  133.
  134. P.S.: Thank you again for helping me, Anonymous. You are truly a great friend. And even though your time here appears to have brought nothing but strife and pain, your arrival has brought more things to light that would have never shone without you. I hope you will see it that way someday.
  135.
  136. Sincerely,
  137. Princess Twilight Sparkle
  138.
  139. >You move the letter away from your face, folding it up.
  140. >Two weeks.
  141. >That's rough.
  142. >Basically, from what you gathered from the letter, if Lyra can't be fixed in two weeks, she's guaranteed to die. Whether it's around the two weeks mark or later on down the road.
  143. >She'll be gone.
  144. >It's heavy news, and your chest tightens just thinking about it.
  145. >"Anon?"
  146. >Lyra must have noticed the expression on your face.
  147. >You turn and try to smile as best you can towards her.
  148. "What's up?"
  149. >You know you're not convincing anyone, but you keep up the cheery act anyway.
  150. >"Who was the letter from?"
  151. "Twilight. She said she wanted to examine you again, but she can't leave the castle for another five or so days."
  152. >Five or so days that you don't have to waste.
  153. >"Oh... What do we do, then ?"
  154. >You stand up from the table and shove the letter in your pocket.
  155. "We make an adventure out if it! You said you wanted to get out of the house, right? We'll sneak through the town tonight to Twilight's castle."
  156. >She's definitely taken aback by the sudden plans thrown out.
  157. >"Uh, s-sure! An adventure! Are you sure this is alright? Can't we just wait until she can come here?"
  158. "There's not enough time."
  159. >"Huh?"
  160. >Shit.
  161. >Watch your mouth, Anon.
  162. "Er, wouldn't it be more fun this way, though?"
  163. >"Is it worth the risk of being caught?"
  164. "What's life without a little risk?"
  165. >She looks around, examining you.
  166. >"What's wrong, Anon? You're the last person to suggest a risk, especially when it involves me."
  167. >She's started moving towards you.
  168. >You back away unconsciously.
  169. "Maybe I've just loosened up a bit."
  170. >"I'm not buying it, Anon. Something else was in that letter. You've been weird since you read it."
  171. "You don't need to know what it said."
  172. >She's getting closer, and you are nearing a wall.
  173. >"If it concerns me, I think I do."
  174. "How do you know it concerns you?"
  175. >"Why are you so defensive?"
  176. >Your back touches the wall.
  177. >"What's wrong, Anon?"
  178. "NOTHING'S WRONG!"
  179. >You lash out unexpectedly.
  180. >Lyra flinches back harshly at your outburst.
  181. "YOU'RE GOING TO BE FINE, LYRA! EVERYTHING IS FINE!"
  182. >You are breathing heavily.
  183. >Your eyes have started tearing up.
  184. >Shit, you let your emotions get the better of you.
  185. >You'll be damned if you're going to cry in front of her now.
  186. >"Anon...I never asked about me..."
  187. >...
  188. >You stare at the floor.
  189. >You wait until you have total control before you open your mouth again.
  190. "I'm going to the market. We used the last of our stock this morning."
  191. >You shrug your way passed Lyra, and head straight for the front door.
  192. >"Anonymous!"
  193. >You don't answer her and you lock and slam the door behind you.
  194. >Commence angry power walk.
  195. >Fuck, you did NOT handle that well.
  196. >And in hindsight, you've probably worried her more thanks to your tasteful reaction.
  197. >You stomp your way down to the market.
  198. >About ten minutes later, you're knee deep in buying groceries, most of the stress from earlier forgotten, your focus trained on making sure you're not getting robbed blind by these damn p0nies.
  199. >Even after all of this time, they take you for a chump.
  200. >You ain't no fuckin' chump.
  201. >You are wondering through the crowds at this point, looking at what the booths and merchants have to offer.
  202. >You spot a cart and a familiar mare running it.
  203. >Roseluck.
  204. >Perhaps you could apologize to Lyra with the aid of some of Ponyville's best flowers?
  205. >You stroll over and set your overstuffed bags on the ground next to the cart.
  206. "Hey there!"
  207. >You make the first move
  208. >Roseluck scowls back at you.
  209. >"What?"
  210. >You hold your hands up in mock surrender.
  211. "Yeesh! Ease up on the charm. I might fall for you all over again."
  212. >She slowly leans over her cart.
  213. >"Get the fuck away from my Celestia-damned cart right now you fucking worthless cumstain."
  214. >Ouch.
  215. >First time you've been called a cumstain, that's for sure.
  216. >She must be pretty upset with you, although, you can't really remember much about her.
  217. >Probably because you never got to fuck her.
  218. >She was a sweet mare when you first started flirting with each other.
  219. >She has one hell of a dirty mouth, though.
  220. >Can be good and bad, depending on the situation.
  221. "Look, I'm here on legitimate business."
  222. >"Pfft. Sure."
  223. "Honest!"
  224. >"Who are you trying to con into your bedroom this time?"
  225. >Goddamnit.
  226. >You don’t have time for this.
  227. >You lower your voice as to not cause a scene.
  228. "Alright, you fucking cock sleeve. It's none of your goddamned business who the fuck these flowers are for. I'm here buy some because I know you do a better job at this shit than your other fucktarded friends who actually fell for me. If you want some business, I'm here to give it. But if you just want to sit there and be a fucking bitter cunt because you didn't get a taste of this, then so be it. I'll take my fucking money to someone who actually wants it."
  229. >Jaw hanging open.
  230. >Ears folded back.
  231. >Eyes wide as the ocean.
  232. >BTFO.
  233. >Thing about this mare is, you gotta beat her at her own game, then uppercut her with a harsh truth, then finish her off with a guaranteed loss on her end.
  234. >Really wanted to apply that tactic in the sack, but oh well.
  235. >The both of you would get into arguments on a daily basis, so this was nothing new.
  236. >You think she started to like it after a while, but she broke it off before you could get anywhere with her.
  237. >It was a bad break.
  238. >But you deserved it.
  239. >Guess the hate has been building up since then.
  240. >You're about to speak again, but you notice something odd.
  241. >Her cheeks are starting to blush heavily, and her tail is whipping around wildly.
  242. >Damnit.
  243. >You rear back slightly.
  244. "You nasty bitch."
  245. >Her eyes fall, half-lidded as she licks her lips.
  246. >"Mmmm. I am, aren't I. You always seem to know what to say to get me wet."
  247. "Yeah, great. Fantastic. Now just shut the hell up and give me some flowers."
  248. >"You can have my flower, if you want."
  249. >You see her raise her tail and move it to the side.
  250. >Christ! There are other p0nies around here!
  251. >What the hell is she-
  252. >...
  253. "...You're in heat, aren't you?"
  254. >She sighs heavily.
  255. >"Is it that obvious?"
  256. "Just a tad."
  257. >"Fuck."
  258. >You can tell she is willing her tail down with as much force as she can muster.
  259. >Dat estrus tho.
  260. >It’s some crazy shit, man.
  261. >She rubs her forehead with a free hoof.
  262. “Why are you even out here? Shouldn’t you like, bar yourself inside your house and hold out until it’s over with?”
  263. >”I need the bits.”
  264. >Damn.
  265. “Well, props to you for working through this. Just be careful. Guys like me just might take advantage of it.”
  266. >”Thanks for the sage advice. I can handle myself.”
  267. “Mhmm. Just like you did a minute ago.”
  268. >She wilts under the truth.
  269. >Another heavy sigh.
  270. >”...Fine. I guess I’ll just stay at home.”
  271. “Uh, before you do, though-"
  272. >"I got you covered."
  273. >She reaches across the cart and pulls a very elegant bouquet of (you guessed it) roses with her mouth to hand to you.
  274. >You take it gingerly, trying not to disturb the arrangement.
  275. >There’s no need to inspect it.
  276. >This is this mare’s passion.
  277. >They’re always perfect.
  278. >"Heh heh. You don't know how hard it is to not bite straight through the stems."
  279. “These are great! How much do I owe you?”
  280. >”It’s on me this time.”
  281. >She winks at you.
  282. >...
  283. >Not THAT kind of wink.
  284. >”You’ve changed, Anon. Whoever the mare is that’s done this to you is awfully special. Better hold on to her.”
  285. “Thanks. I intend to.”
  286. >She smiles back as you watch her pack up.
  287. “Wait, you’re packing up already?”
  288. >”I know your nose isn’t nearly as good as ours, but I’ve just painted a target on my tail for any stallion in a ten yard radius willing to take a good sniff. I think it’s in my best interest to get the fuck out of here and spend the rest of my week locked away.”
  289. >Makes sense.
  290. “Well, thanks for the flowers, Roseluck. I really appreciate it.”
  291. >Man.
  292. >You were never this nice.
  293. >...
  294. >It actually feels pretty good.
  295. >”No problem, Anon.”
  296. >You pick up your bags and turn to go back home.
  297. >You need to apologize to Lyra for your behavior earlier.
  298. >”Hey!”
  299. >You stop and turn back to Roseluck.
  300. >”If for some reason this doesn’t work out for you...I could use a little help at my place.”
  301. >Roseluck has one of the most devilish smirks you’ve ever seen.
  302. >And it lights a fire in you.
  303. >Damn, that mare was never this forward before.
  304. >You really should have been nicer from the get go.
  305. >So much mare poon that you’ve missed out on.
  306. >You wave and head back to your place.
  307. >You’ve been gone for roughly 30-40 minutes.
  308. >More than enough time to cool down.
  309. >You look to the bouquet in your arms.
  310. >Really hope she likes it.
  311. >Of course, she won’t be able to eat it.
  312. >If anything, you can keep it in a vase for her.
  313. >It will be her ‘get well soon’ present.
  314. >You can ask Twilight to preserve them or something.
  315. >Pretty sure there’s magic that can do that.
  316. >You turn the corner in the road and see your house in the distance.
  317. >Something seems off, though.
  318. >You pick up your pace a little.
  319. >...
  320. “No.”
  321. >The bags and bouquet fall to the ground, forgotten.
  322. “Fucking Christ, NO!”
  323. >You take a deep breath and scream at the top of your lungs.
  324. “LYRA?!”
  325. >Your door has been bashed in.
  326. >Inside the house, furniture is toppled over, some broken.
  327. >Clearly signs of a heated conflict.
  328. >You are still investigating the place when you nearly slip on the floor.
  329. >The smell alone clues you in on what you’ve stepped in.
  330. >Vomit.
  331. >You dash back outside.
  332. >The dirt path around your house has tons of scuffs and large grooves in the ground.
  333. >They look like someone’s hooves were digging into the ground.
  334. >While they were dragged away.
  335. >Unwillingly.
  336. >Your mind is in full panic.
  337. “LYYYRAAA?!!?!”
  338. >The trail of the struggle clearly shows a path leading opposite from the town.
  339. >You bolt into a full sprint, following the gouges and scuffed up trail.
  340. >Your full run is destroying your stamina, but your push yourself to your greatest limits.
  341. >You can’t let them take Lyra from you.
  342. >She’s all you have in this world.
  343. >She’s all you want in this world.
  344. >You start to get worried as the trail becomes less obvious, as if the one being dragged had given up.
  345. >What worries you even more are the dark splotches you see from time to time along the same trail.
  346. >Blood.
  347. >You’re fire is reignited as you push your body to the extreme.
  348. >Even at this speed, there’s no way you’d be able to catch up to an average p0ny’s gallop.
  349. >But these p0nies have baggage.
  350. >They can’t afford to run.
  351. >You’ve been gone for roughly 40 minutes.
  352. >You have no way of telling how long they’ve been gone.
  353. >The vomit was still fairly liquid, so it might not have been too long ago.
  354. >You can’t be sure, though.
  355. >Your lungs are burning, legs aching, eyes stinging.
  356. >These are nothing compared to the pain in your heart you feel with each patch of blood you see in the dirt path.
  357. >Lyra is in pain and hurting.
  358. >She doesn’t deserve this.
  359. >She never deserved any of this.
  360. >And now, in what could very well be her final two weeks of life, she is subject to yet more torture and agony.
  361. >You grit your teeth in rage and power through the creeping exhaustion.
  362. >It’s nearly 10 minutes into your run that you notice a large dark puddle on the ground ahead.
  363. >A quick glance as you blow past it shows that it’s another serving of bile.
  364. >Clearly, the p0nynapper can’t stomach the sight of Lyra.
  365. >Fucking casuals.
  366. >Your body’s limits has been reached, and you are subject to the burning ache that is overexertion.
  367. “Fuck! FUCK! NO! LYRA!!!”
  368. >Legs slamming into the ground, arms flailing to keep a good rhythm, chest heaving with every dry and burning breath.
  369. >Tears are falling from your face.
  370. >Thoughts of hopelessly running yourself into oblivion creep up.
  371. >You’ll never find her.
  372. >They’ve taken her.
  373. >She can’t speak to them.
  374. >They’re torturing her.
  375. >She’s screaming, and they can’t even hear her.
  376. >Even now, you can hear her calling your name in vain.
  377. >”Anoooon!”
  378. >Wait…
  379. >”Anooooooooon!”
  380. >That’s her!
  381. “LYRA?!!”
  382. >You’ve just been revitalized by the sound of your love’s voice.
  383. >Crazy, right?
  384. >You push yourself harder than before.
  385. >She’s close.
  386. >You can hear her.
  387. >”ANON! HELP!”
  388. “LYRA!”
  389. >You are rounding a large curve, your view of the trail obscured by trees.
  390. “LYRA! I’M ALMOST THERE!”
  391. >Wait, you know these trees.
  392. >Oh shit oh shit oh shit
  393. >THERE!
  394. >You finally see them!
  395. >They’re just walking into some cover surrounded by several trees.
  396. “LYRAAA!”
  397. >Her head turns wildly, and she starts to struggle against her captor, stopping their progress.
  398. >”ANON! IT HURTS SO MUUUHUUUHUUUUCH!”
  399. >Lyra is sobbing her heart out in pain.
  400. >You are gaining ground quickly.
  401. >And holy shit.
  402. >It’s Bon Bon.
  403. “BON BON! STOP!”
  404. >”NOOO!!!”
  405. >She shrieks her response, her voice cracking wildly.
  406. >”YOU KEEP AWAY FROM US YOU FUCKING MONSTER!”
  407. “BON BON! YOU DON’T UNDERSTAND WHAT’S GOING ON! YOU’RE KILLING HER!”
  408. >You are close enough to see the damage.
  409. >God have mercy.
  410. >Lyra is completely covered in dirt from the trail, tied up by her legs, drug along on her side, collecting what foliage and dust is kicked up from their travels into her gaping cavity.
  411. >Bon Bon turns to see how close you are and stops, taking an aggressive stance.
  412. >Her mane is completely unkempt, both hues twisting into each other in odd places, tangled and matted.
  413. >There are large hunks of clumped hair on her coat.
  414. >Her tail is completely fanned out and tangled to hell and back.
  415. >Even from this distance, you can see how bloodshot her eyes are.
  416. >She has just been welcomed to Wit’s End.
  417. >Lyra has stopped struggling, but has begun convulsing harshly, sputtering strained syllables that only you can hear.
  418. >You go to step closer to Lyra, but are quickly blocked off by Bon Bon.
  419. >”Don’t you DARE come any closer to her!”
  420. >Spittle is flung everywhere as she speaks to you.
  421. >It’s almost like a rabid animal.
  422. “Bon Bon, so help me God, if you do not get out of my way-”
  423. >”YOU’LL DO THE SAME TO ME?!”
  424. “DAMNIT! I didn’t do this! She showed up at my house like this!”
  425. >”BULLSHIT! I knew Rainbow wasn’t lying! I’ve been watching you. And until I saw the two of you run into Ponyville just last night, I was about to give up! But I heard you call out her name while you chased her down! AND LOOK AT HER!”
  426. >She points a hoof to Lyra, who’s still convulsing on the ground.
  427. >Bon Bon’s resolve crumbles before you, her eyes not able to restrain the torrent of emotions pouring down her face.
  428. >”What did you d-do to my b-best frieeehaaahaahhaannd!”
  429. >Bon Bon has dissolved into nothing but sobs and screaming, drool falling out of her mouth.
  430. >You take your chance and rush around her to get to Lyra, immediately untying the rope around her legs.
  431. >It’s worse than you thought.
  432. >The motors in Lyra’s chest have reached an entire new level of volume, and they are grossly out of sync.
  433. >You get a quick glance at the side she’d been hauled on.
  434. >An angry red is all you see.
  435. >Her legs have red lines on the from the rope digging into her as she struggled against her bonds.
  436. >Bon Bon nearly falls over trying to turn and stop you.
  437. >”St-stay away from h-her!”
  438. “SHUT THE FUCK UP!”
  439. >You have very little sympathy for Bon Bon at this time.
  440. “Jesus Christ. Lyra? Lyra can you hear me?”
  441. >She’s still shaking, her head twitching erratically.
  442. >It’s beyond unnerving.
  443. “Lyra, please! Just hold on!”
  444. >You stroke her back, dirt and dust covering your hand.
  445. >The motors aren’t calming down.
  446. >This isn’t good.
  447. >She needs something, and fast.
  448. >There’s nothing you can do, though.
  449. >She’s not exactly in the right mind to register a kiss or anything of that nature that may boost her healing.
  450. >There’s a sudden rustle in the bushes near the three of you.
  451. >You just remembered why the trees were so familiar.
  452. >Another rustle.
  453. >You’re in the Everfree forest.
  454. >Just at the edge, however.
  455. >You prepare to defend Lyra with your life against whatever beast has decided to prey upon you.
  456. >Through the sounds of Lyra’s pain-induced babbling, overactive microwaves, and Bon Bon’s cries, you hear only the disturbed shrubbery.
  457. >You give a primal yell as you charge after the bush, only to stop just short of it when a black and white face greets you.
  458. “Zecora?!”
  459. >”I heard a commotion over here, and I just happened to be near.”
  460. “Enough with the rhymes! We need your help!”
  461. >You point her immediately to Lyra’s location.
  462. >Zecora is not even phased by her appearance.
  463. >”Such many creatures have fallen prey to this fate. I prayed I would never have to see a pony in this state.”
  464. >She quickly lowers herself to Lyra’s barrel, hoof on her chin while she thinks.
  465. >”S-so, he’s done th-this to m-more animals?!”
  466. >Bon Bon jumps to conclusions again.
  467. >”That is incorrect, my dear mare, for the source of these tragedies lies within the forest itself. Anonymous is innocent.”
  468. >THANK
  469. >YOU
  470. >”But there is no time for a story, a mare must be saved. I have just the brew to take care of this pain.”
  471. >Zecora fishes out a small blue bottle from her saddle bag.
  472. >”This potion will vaporize any inorganic material found within the body.”
  473. >Oh shit! The machines!
  474. “Zecora, you can’t! the mach-”
  475. >”I have tested this thoroughly on other small creatures I have come across. The strange implants are not harmed. It seems as though they may truly be a living metal.”
  476. >This is just getting crazier by the minute.
  477. >You see Zecora turn her head towards Lyra, her eyes filled with pain.
  478. >”My poor mare, I must apologize in advance. This will hurt more than your current predicament, but it is only temporary. Please stay strong, and stay with us.”
  479. >She uncorks the bottle with her teeth and begins to pour the mixture directly into Lyra’s stomach.
  480. “Are you insane?! That could kill her!”
  481. >”Quiet, Anon, for I have treated many in this same condition.”
  482. >Lyra screams out in pain.
  483. >Screams only you can hear.
  484. >However, you see Zecora wince.
  485. >Can she hear Lyra as well?
  486. >Sure enough, the screaming has stopped, the motors have begun to slow and even out, and the convulsing has ceased.
  487. >And that’s it.
  488. >The crisis is over.
  489. >You hear Lyra speak to you.
  490. >”O-oh, g-goddesses, Anon...Please…”
  491. >You kneel to embrace her, stopped by Zecora’s hoof.
  492. >”There is still much more damage to repair.”
  493. >You watch as Zecora moves Lyra to her other side, exposing the consequence of Bon Bon’s rash decision.
  494. >Anger flares up and you march over to sodden mare immediately.
  495. >She flinches as you approach.
  496. >You grab the scruff of her mane and force her eyes onto Lyra.
  497. “Do you see this?! Do you see what YOU did?!”
  498. >Bon Bon is beyond a real response, her mind reeling from everything that’s happening around her.
  499. >You roughly toss her to the ground.
  500. >She makes no attempt to correct her place.
  501. >You look back over to Zecora and see that she is lightly pouring a new mixture over the raw side of Lyra’s skin.
  502. >Right before your eyes, you are seeing skin mend itself.
  503. >Zecora’s potions are known for being very potent, but this is whole new level of impressive.
  504. >Minutes later, Lyra’s flesh is back to normal and healthy looking, and there are signs of hair already returning.
  505. >Not surprising, a p0ny’s skin is a lighter shade of their coat.
  506. >Zecora rises from her side, placing the empty bottles back into her saddle bag.
  507. >Your gaze is fixed solely on Lyra.
  508. >”The potion’s work is done, but it takes a large toll on one to go through such healing. This is a very strong mare.”
  509. “She is.”
  510. >”It is best that she get as much rest as possible. And that she see Twilight Sparkle immediately.”
  511. >You agree completely.
  512. >There should be a fairly clear path that will lead you to Twilight’s castle if you follow the edge of the Everfree.
  513. >Of course, her castle is a ways away from the forest, but if you cover her with your shirt, you might be able to get passed with minimal spectators.
  514. >Wait a minute though…
  515. “How did you know about Twi-”
  516. >You turn to look, and Zecora is gone.
  517. >There is a choking, gagging sound that brings you back to the p0ny responsible for this entire catastrophe.
  518. >Bon Bon still hasn’t moved from where you threw her on the ground.
  519. >You take off your shirt and drape it over Lyra’s legs, covering the majority of her damage.
  520. >As you make to slowly lift Lyra from the ground, Bon Bon calls out to you.
  521. >”W-wait!”
  522. >You stop once you’ve hoisted Lyra up, but you don’t turn around.
  523. >”Wh-...what’s going on? Where are you taking her?”
  524. “You wouldn’t believe it, and it’s none of your damned business where I’m taking her.”
  525. >You start back towards the edge of the Everfree to continue the long trek to Twilight’s castle while carrying a mare that is easily three times her weight.
  526. >There is some commotion behind you as you assume Bon Bon tries to stand.
  527. >”It is my business! She’s my best friend!”
  528. “I DON’T THINK BEST FRIENDS DRAG EACH OTHER RAW OVER A DIRT PATH INTO THE EVERFREE FOREST!”
  529. >You feel Lyra squirm in your grasp.
  530. >”D-don’t…”
  531. >She’s trying her hardest to speak to you.
  532. >The potions must have taken a lot out of her.
  533. >”D-don’t be so hard on her, Anon. Sh-she didn’t know any better.”
  534. “How can you say that, Lyra? She nearly killed you!”
  535. >”H-Her heart was in the r-right place, Anonymous. She really th-thought she was going to save me.”
  536. “Well her head must have been miles away. You nearly died!”
  537. >”I c-couldn’t talk to her. She was terrified. How would sh-she have known?”
  538. “...You’re too forgiving, you know that?”
  539. >Lyra chuckles lightly.
  540. >”Maybe you sh-should try it out more often.”
  541. >You stand, eyes closed, trying to find any ounce of a fuck to give for Bon Bon.
  542. >”Y-you’re insane, talking to yourself.”
  543. >You sigh.
  544. “I know this sounds ridiculous, but only I can hear her for some reason.”
  545. >”You’re damn right it’s ridiculous! You’re just lying to yourself! Look at her! She’s already gone!”
  546. >You quake with rage as you spin to face her.
  547. >Lyra can feel you tensing up.
  548. >If you could, you would slap Bon Bon into next week, but your arms are currently preoccupied.
  549. >Lyra tries to reason with you.
  550. >”C-calm down, Anon. Just tell her to ask me something only I would know.”
  551. >It’s a sound plan.
  552. >Why didn't you think of that?
  553. >Too much stress and anger, you suppose.
  554. “If I’m really lying, then ask her something only she would know, and I’ll relay it to you.”
  555. >”Pfft. I’m not falling for that.”
  556. “ASK HER!”
  557. >Bon Bon is still, taken by surprise by your angry outburst.
  558. >You can see her mulling a question around in her head.
  559. >She finally glares back to you, a slight tinge of pink on her cheeks.
  560. >”Okay. Four years ago, Nightmare Night. We went to a party and crashed in a spare bedroom. What happened there?”
  561. >You have a wild guess what happened, but it’s probably not the obvious, so she’s used it as a trick question to make sure you aren’t providing your own answer.
  562. >Lyra fidgets against you.
  563. >She makes small noises of distress.
  564. >”Why’d she have to pick this?”
  565. >Bon Bon has zero patience.
  566. >”See?! You’re delusional!”
  567. >Lyra begins to speak to you, and you to Bon Bon.
  568. “You came out to me that night. You kissed me, and told me you were a fillyfooler.”
  569. >Bon Bon shrinks, eyes wide.
  570. “We both cried because we both knew that it would never work between us. I just never had that kind of a love for you...I told you, and I quote, ‘any mare would be lucky to have a piece of your candy ass, but I don’t have much of a sweet tooth’.”
  571. >”Sweet Celestia…It is her…”
  572. >Point proven.
  573. “That good enough?”
  574. >Bon Bon’s ears fold back, the blush still present.
  575. >”H-how-”
  576. “Because I’m the only one that can hear her.”
  577. >She furrows her face into an ugly expression.
  578. >”I still don’t believe it…
  579. >Her face suddenly softens.
  580. >”...but I guess I don’t have a choice. You’re just going to do whatever you want.”
  581. >Lyra slowly moves her head back and forth.
  582. >”Take her with us.”
  583. “What?!”
  584. >Bon Bon jumps at your sudden reply to Lyra.
  585. >One way conversations must be weird to witness.
  586. >”If she doesn’t believe you, she’ll believe Twilight.”
  587. >Hmmm.
  588. >This is most likely true.
  589. >You are an alien from another world with a reputation for sleeping around.
  590. >Trustworthy isn’t in there anywhere in that description.
  591. >You grumble to yourself and turn back to leave the forest, but you stop before reaching the edge.
  592. “...Come with us.”
  593. >Bon Bon doesn’t respond.
  594. >You turn to see her staring at the ground.
  595. >She slowly raises her head to look at you.
  596. >”I’m sorry, was that for me?”
  597. “Yeah. Lyra wants you to come along.”
  598. >”Oh, sure. Let me follow the maniac to some secret location.”
  599. >Her voice drips with sarcasm.
  600. >She’s damn good at it.
  601. “We’re going to Twilight’s castle.”
  602. >Bon Bon face turns to a look of disbelief.
  603. >”Sure. You’re gonna just waltz right in like you’re best buds or something, right? Won’t even have to make an appointment or anything.”
  604. >God.
  605. >This fucking mare.
  606. >What the fuck did Lyra ever see in her.
  607. “She’s been working with us for a few days now on getting Lyra restored back to normal.”
  608. >”Good one.”
  609. “For FUCKS SAKE. I am losing my patience with you, Bon Bon. Either you follow us, or you don’t. Your fucking choice. Lyra, don’t say a damn thing. This mare is getting on my last nerve.”
  610. >Bon Bon seems to weigh her options, pawing a hoof at the ground every now and then.
  611. >You don’t have time for her, so you walk out and stay within the very edge of the forest.
  612. >You hear hoofsteps quickly come behind you.
  613. >Seems like she decided to follow you guys after all.
  614. >The basic plan is to just keep following the edge of the forest until the eyesore that is Twilight’s castle comes into view.
  615. >It’s ridiculous as fuck, so it shouldn’t be hard to spot.
  616. >You’ve been walking for a while, resting every now and then with Lyra in your lap to give your arms a chance to recover.
  617. >”S-so...when did Lyra...show up at your place?”
  618. “Four days ago, at night.”
  619. >”Hm.”
  620. >Bon Bon’s attempt at conversation failed before it even started.
  621. >You don’t want to talk about that day.
  622. >The walk is quiet for another good 10 minutes.
  623. >Twilight’s castle is in plain view.
  624. >Probably another 10 minutes or so before you are across from it and will start heading into the town to sneak your way to the entrance.
  625. >Bon Bon opens her trap again.
  626. >”You’d said that Twilight was working on getting Lyra fixed?”
  627. “Yeah.”
  628. >She’s quiet for a few seconds.
  629. >”Is it going to work?”
  630. “...It has to.”
  631. >God, does it have to work.
  632. >You aren’t ready to give this mare up to anyone.
  633. >Not God.
  634. >Not the heavens.
  635. >Not Celestia or Luna.
  636. >This mare is yours.
  637. >You make it to the turning point, resting just outside of the Everfree, officially moving towards Twilight’s castle now.
  638. >Resting on the ground, you have Lyra sitting in your lap upright, her back resting against your chest.
  639. >Lyra seems to be doing a lot better, but you are still wary to let her walk on her own.
  640. >The feeling of her coat, albeit rather dirty, against your bare skin is turning you on.
  641. >You try to force your mind away from it, but she isn’t helping.
  642. >She shifts her weight a bit, pressing her rear into your crotch, her tail trying to move about a little.
  643. >The big tease.
  644. >She knows what she’s doing.
  645. >You hold back your dong with all of your might.
  646. >Now’s not the time to be making this awkward.
  647. >Or sexy.
  648. >Bon Bon doesn’t let up on either of you, watching you intently.
  649. >”So, how do we approach this? Do we just go inside the castle?”
  650. “There should be a guard near the side entrance. He’ll let us in.”
  651. >You pat Lyra on her haunches and place a hand on her back.
  652. >She leans into you as you tilt her back and bring your other arm under her rump.
  653. >You stand and look towards the castle, adjusting your shirt over Lyra to make sure her wound is concealed.
  654. >Now or never.
  655. >Bon Bon scrambles to get up and follow.
  656. >You’ve made it across a large field with no one the wiser.
  657. >The three of you find a large building to hide behind.
  658. >The area is relatively scarce of any other p0nies, but there are still some around, nonetheless.
  659. “Bon Bon.”
  660. >She turn her head to you.
  661. “Think you can go out there casually and tell me how good of a shot we’ve got to head straight to the castle?”
  662. >”Well, any other day, I’d love to act as you scout, but I’m not exactly inconspicuous myself.”
  663. >A quick glance over her, and you see what she’s talking about.
  664. >She looks like she just escaped from the metal ward only to run home to be beaten by her abusive husband.
  665. >Yeah, she’ll attract quite a bit of attention.
  666. >Damnit.
  667. >Well, guess you’ll just have to ru-
  668. >”HIYA, NONY!”
  669. >Pinkie Pie.
  670. >Out of fucking nowhere.
  671. >You turn yourself to keep Lyra’s head hidden.
  672. “What, Pinkie?!”
  673. >”OOOooooo! Who ya got there?”
  674. “Just leave it alone, Pinkie, and leave.”
  675. >”It’s a secret, isn’t it! I’m reeeeeeally good with secrets! You can trust me!”
  676. >She keeps trying to poke her head around you to get a good look at the mare in your arms.
  677. “This isn’t a secret that I want you to have!”
  678. >”Awww, what fun is that?”
  679. >”Damnit, Pinkie, just get the hay out of here!”
  680. >Bon Bon has stepped up to the plate.
  681. >”Oh, hey Bon Bon! I didn’t recognize you at first with your new mane style!”
  682. >”Pinkie, just go! You’re going to draw attention to us and ruin everything!”
  683. >Pinkie’s eyes shrink slightly and her ears fold.
  684. >Her hair is flattened slightly.
  685. >”I’m...ruining everything?”
  686. >Her bottom lip is trembling.
  687. >Damnit.
  688. >Wait a minute…
  689. >Pinkie Pie, drawing attention?
  690. >This could work.
  691. “Actually, you just showed up in time.”
  692. >Both Pinkie and Bon Bon turn to you, excited and confused respectively.
  693. >”Wha-”
  694. >Before Bon Bon could get anything out, you talk over her.
  695. “Think you could do us a favor?”
  696. >”Sure!”
  697. >Pinkie’s smile is infectious.
  698. “Great! We need you to cause a big distraction to make sure nobody sees us run across to Twilight’s castle.”
  699. >She looks a bit skeptical.
  700. >”You guys aren’t up to anything bad, are you?”
  701. “No! Of course not! We have a, uh...a very sick mare that Twilight needs to see.”
  702. >”OMIGOSH! That’s terrible! Who is it, so I can throw them a Get-Well-Soon party?”
  703. “They’d, uh...they’d rather it stay just between us.”
  704. >Pinkie is still leaning around, trying to catch a glimpse of the face of who you’re carrying.
  705. >Luckily, your shirt is covering most of Lyra identifiable traits.
  706. >She thinks on this for a second.
  707. >”Mmmmmwellllll… I guess it would be rude to keep asking.”
  708. >She suddenly stares into you, a serious expression on her face.
  709. >You are almost certain the air around you grew a little colder, and colors seemed to lose their vibrance.
  710. >”Do you care about this mare, Anon?”
  711. “What? Well, yeah, I do.”
  712. >”How much do you care?”
  713. >What’s with these questions?
  714. >And...how much DO you care?
  715. >You were willing to attack an unknown creature in Lyra’s defense back in the Everfree.
  716. >You chased down Bon Bon for what felt like miles, pushing your body to its breaking point.
  717. >You are about to sneak into Twilight’s castle in broad daylight just for her sake.
  718. >...
  719. “I’d die for her.”
  720. >Pinkie is still giving you a hard stare before her face returns to it’s normal cheery expression.
  721. >Just in time for the colors to return and a warm breeze grace you.
  722. >”Good!”
  723. >Pinkie suddenly takes control over the situation.
  724. >”Now, I’m going to go across the street and start playing my one-p0ny band to the tune of Baa Baa Black Sheep in the key of F major.”
  725. >”Baa Baa Black Sheep? In F major?”
  726. >Bon Bon is quick to question Pinkie’s motives.
  727. >Never question Pinkie’s motives.
  728. >”That’s the formula for a distraction!”
  729. >Pinkie cocks her head and smiles.
  730. >You swear you hear a squeaky toy as she does so.
  731. >”I’ll run through the street in a classic Knight’s Tour fashion using a five-by-five grid of the large stones in the road, all while keeping the p0nies intrigued by my musical prowess. I mean, c’mon. C major is hard enough as it is. But F? Pfft. They won’t know what hit ‘em.”
  732. >Pinkie starts to rub her hooves together.
  733. >This mare is nuts. But she gets the job done.
  734. “If you say so, but the specifics aren’t important. We need to know when we can make a break for the castle.”
  735. >Lyra is getting heavy, and this conversation needs to be over soon.
  736. >”Ok, ok! Impatient, aren’t we? Well, as a rule of thumb, it usually takes three loops of Baa Baa Black Sheep to catch the attention of every p0ny in a one mile radius, so I’d wait until I start the fourth loop before you run off to the castle. Does that work?”
  737. “Yes! Immensely!”
  738. >”Great! Well, I’ll go ahead and get started. Luckily, I keep instruments hidden everywhere. In case of music emergencies.”
  739. >Right.
  740. “Thanks, Pinkie. You don’t know how much this means to us.”
  741. >She starts to walk away while she replies.
  742. >”Oh, I think I’ve got a hunch.”
  743. >She’s nearly around the side of the building the three of you are hiding behind when she stop and calls out for you.
  744. >”Hey!”
  745. >You turn towards her.
  746. >”Tell Lyra I’ll have a party for her when she gets all better.”
  747. >And with that, she left.
  748. >You want to question that last statement, you really do, but you know better than to go down that road.
  749. >Bon Bon doesn’t.
  750. >”How did sh-”
  751. “Save it. Just…don’t ask.”
  752. >Before long, you can hear Pinkie’s music playing not too far from you.
  753. >Peaking around the corner, you can see p0nies heading in her direction.
  754. >It’s working!
  755. >You count the loops in your head and have finally come to the start of the fourth.
  756. >You readjust Lyra in your arms and make a dash for the castle, Bon Bon not far behind.
  757. >Reaching the side door, you see that there isn’t a guard present.
  758. “Shit!”
  759. >”What’s wrong? We don’t have long before somep0ny happens to see us!”
  760. “There’s supposed to be a guard here to let us in!”
  761. >Fuck fuck fuck!
  762. >”Sweet Celestia, you are insane! And I was buying it the whole time! You actually convinced yourself that a guar-”
  763. “FUCK OFF, BON BON.”
  764. >You don’t have time for her shit.
  765. >You ease Lyra down onto the ground so you can fish Twilight’s letter from your pocket.
  766. >After scanning it and re-reading the section about the guard, you realize your error.
  767. “The guard’s only supposed to be out at night! Damnit!”
  768. >”What’s that?”
  769. “A letter from Twilight.”
  770. >You fold it up and place it back in your pocket.
  771. >You crouch down to pick Lyra up again and try to come up with a new plan.
  772. >”Can’t we just, knock on the door? Maybe a guard will come let us in.”
  773. “I don’t want to risk it. It might not be the right guard. Twilight said that the one that would let us in was sworn to secrecy. If a royal guard did see us carrying Lyra in her current condition, it’d be a catastrophe.”
  774. >You both ponder your options.
  775. >You reflect on your past visits.
  776. >Spike would usually answer the front door.
  777. >Guards weren’t stationed throughout the castle until you got to the throne room.
  778. >At least, that’s how it was that one time.
  779. >Twilight must be fairly lax on security.
  780. >And you’ll have to bank on that assumption.
  781. >That, and Spike will have to be in on the whole thing from now on.
  782. >Hope he isn’t too freaked out about Lyra.
  783. >Being a turd to kids is one thing, but traumatizing them is not cool.
  784. “We’ll go to the front door.”
  785. >”What?!”
  786. “Shutup and just follow me. I’ve already thought it out.”
  787. >The two of you rush around the building.
  788. >Bon Bon knocks on the door.
  789. >A few moments later, and sure enough, Spike opens the door.
  790. >”Can I hel-”
  791. >Is all he got out before you both trampled him running inside and closing the door.
  792. >You rest your back against the wall and slide down, Lyra still in your arms.
  793. >When your ass touches the floor, you rest her in your lap and against your chest, exhausted.
  794. >Bon Bon is lying on the ground as well, panting from the stress.
  795. >You made it.
  796. >You’re in Twilight’s castle.
  797. >”Jeeze, guys! What’s the big deal?!”
  798. >Spike is a little upset over kicking him out of the way, but he’ll get over it.
  799. “Sorry, turd. It’s an emergency.”
  800. >Spike finally takes notice of Lyra, her head clearly visible.
  801. >He points a shaky claw to her.
  802. >”Wh-wh-what is th-th-that?!”
  803. >You look down and see that your shirt has fallen from her forehooves, exposing her horrific wound to the world.
  804. “This…”
  805. >You scratch Lyra’s shoulder.
  806. >She turns her head to you and the two of you hold a gaze for a moment.
  807. “...is Lyra.”
  808. >You can’t tell what his reaction is as he slowly curls his arm back to his chest.
  809. >”Th-that...IS AWESOME!”
  810. >Huh.
  811. >Well, this is the first ‘guy’ to have seen her.
  812. >”So, is she like a Zombie P0ny? I was reading in one of my Power P0nies comics that zom-”
  813. “Spike, stop.”
  814. >”-ike to eat brains, but how could she even eat anything? She doesn’t have a hea-”
  815. “SPIKE.”
  816. >He stops and coughs into his hand, embarrassed about his ramblings.
  817. >”Heh. Sorry. Guess a bit of Twilight rubbed off on me.”
  818. >Gross.
  819. “Yeah. Speaking of Twilight, we need to see her.”
  820. >”Uh, she’s in a meeting or something. Said that she would be busy for about an hour. But that was like, maybe 30 minutes ago? So it shouldn’t be too much longer.”
  821. >You start to pick Lyra up when she protests.
  822. >”I can walk, Anon.”
  823. “Are you sure?”
  824. >Spike misinterprets your question for him.
  825. >”Uh, yeah? Twilight’s pretty thorough with her details and stuff.”
  826. “Sorry, I was talking to Lyra.”
  827. >”Huh?”
  828. >You sigh and start to explain when Bon Bon cuts in for you as she stands up.
  829. >”Only he can hear her...or so he says.”
  830. >You see her roll her eyes.
  831. >Bitch.
  832. >Spike scratches his head.
  833. >”Weird.”
  834. >Lyra giggles at their reaction.
  835. >You’re just miffed that it sounds so ridiculous when you say it out loud.
  836. “Regardless, we need to see her. Is this meeting really that important? I got a letter saying that the sooner we got here, the better.”
  837. >”She was pretty clear about not wanting to be disturbed.”
  838. “Well that’s tough shit. Where is she?”
  839. >”I-I’m really not supposed to let you disturb it. She was super worried about it.”
  840. “Again. Tough shit.”
  841. >”I’m sorry, Anonymous. I just can’t.”
  842. >You get up up from your place on the ground, grabbing your shirt from Lyra.
  843. >You put on the shirt and start hatching up a brilliant idea.
  844. “C’mon, Spike. We’re bros, right?”
  845. >A deadpan stare is your answer.
  846. “Look, there’s gotta be something she’s done recently to piss you off. This could be some nice payback.”
  847. >You see his eyebrows arch upwards.
  848. >That got his attention.
  849. >”She has been making me polish the thrones more than usual.”
  850. “What?! No Way!”
  851. >You fake your anger at his caretaker’s misdeeds.
  852. >”Yeah, and to add to it, she’s told the kitchen staff to keep my ice cream from me!”
  853. “You’re lying!”
  854. >”I’m not! I bought that ice cream with my hard earned allowance! I should be able to eat it when I want!”
  855. “You’re damn right you should!”
  856. >”And, and, she’s always nagging on me! ‘Spike, brush your teeth!’ ‘Spike, take out the trash!’ “Spike, quit stealing the magazines from under my bed!’”
  857. >That last one was weird, but whatever. Every mare’s gotta have a secret, right?
  858. >His Twilight impression is pretty good, though.
  859. “The nerve of that mare!”
  860. >Spike is pacing around in his anger.
  861. >Finally, he looks towards a large staircase.
  862. >”Alright, this way.”
  863. “Yes! Way to go, buddy!”
  864. >”On ONE condition!”
  865. >God.
  866. >There’s always something.
  867. “Fire away.”
  868. >”I wasn’t part of this. You found it on your own.”
  869. >Easy enough.
  870. “Deal.”
  871. >”Then right this way.”
  872. >You look back to Lyra, who trots up next to you with a bit of spring in her step.
  873. >Clearly she is much better than she led on.
  874. “Well, I see you’re doing much better, miss carry-me-I’m-too-weak.”
  875. >She stomps a hoof down.
  876. >”I WAS too weak! But...I got better.”
  877. “Really now?”
  878. >She nods her head quickly.
  879. >”Yup!”
  880. >You shake your head and smile.
  881. >You turn and see Bon Bon staying a ways behind. It must still be hard for her to really see her friend moving about in her condition.
  882. >The four of you are making it up the steps.
  883. >Lyra talks to you during the climb.
  884. >”When you were holding me on our way here, I just felt...so complete...and safe. Like nothing in Equestria could touch me, because I was in your arms.”
  885. >She’s making you blush.
  886. >You don’t blush often.
  887. >”And before I knew it, I felt 10 times better!”
  888. “Well, I’m glad it helped.”
  889. >”And plus…”
  890. >She scoots a little closer to you, rubbing against your leg.
  891. >”I like it when you carry me.”
  892. >Goddamnit, she’s good.
  893. >You reach down and scratch her back a bit.
  894. >Spike turns off of the staircase as you all follow him down a large hallway.
  895. “How much further, Spike?”
  896. >”We’re just about there. In fact, this is where I’m gonna leave you guys.”
  897. “What? You said you’d take us to Twilight!”
  898. >”And I am! I’m just not gonna be there when you open the door. I don’t want her to see me involved in this!”
  899. >He’s got a point.
  900. “Alright, so which door is it?”
  901. >”It’ll be the third from the last door on your right. You can’t miss it, by the way. Has her cutie mark plastered on it.”
  902. “Thanks, bro.”
  903. >You hold out a fist to complete a FIST BUMP (NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH A BRO HOOF).
  904. >He replies in kind.
  905. >”Later! And good luck, Lyra! Hope you feel better soon!”
  906. >Lyra waves in his direction as he skitters off.
  907. >You all start down the hall and sure enough, you find a large door with Twilight’s cutie mark on it, three doors from the end of the hall.
  908. >You go to open the door, and of course, it’s locked.
  909. “Fuck!”
  910. >Bon Bon is quick to answer your irritation.
  911. >”What? You actually thought she’d leave the door unlocked? Spike told us how much she stressed about this meeting.”
  912. >You turn to Bon Bon to lash out only to lock onto her flank.
  913. >Dem buns.
  914. >Those earth pony legs.
  915. >Dat strength.
  916. >Look at the muscles ripple as she backs away from your creepy gaze.
  917. >”Why ar-”
  918. “Break the door down.”
  919. >”Wh-what?!”
  920. “Break it down! Use that earth pony strength I hear about!”
  921. >”I’ll do no such thing! We’re in a castle, Anonymous! Princess Twilight’s castle! I’m not going to break into a locked room in her castle just because you tell me to.”
  922. “Lyra said to break it.”
  923. >”Oh, now you’re lying!”
  924. “I am not! Didn’t you say that she needs to break it down?”
  925. >You look at Lyra, who looks between Bon Bon and you
  926. >You give her a pleading look, asking her to play along.
  927. >She obliges and nods furiously to Bon bon.
  928. >This mare is awesome.
  929. >If you could high five her, you would.
  930. >Bon Bon seems a little shaken from Lyra’s response.
  931. >”B-but, Lyra! This is government property we’re talking about!”
  932. >Lyra shakes her head quickly, then points to the door, then to Bon Bon.
  933. >She’s taken it to the next level.
  934. >Bon Bon fidgets a bit, then starts to move towards the door.
  935. >She slowly turns around, looking at you and Lyra.
  936. >Holy shit! She’s gonna do it!
  937. >Yup.
  938. >Lyra deserves that high five.
  939. >Bon Bon crouches on her front legs, forcing her weight on them, rearing up her hind legs.
  940. >Then, like a bullet, she slams against the door and it flies open, revealing the room and soooo much more to you.
  941. >It happened so fast, but you took it all in glorious slow motion.
  942. >The first thing that hits you is the smell.
  943. >The heavy smell of sex, and your dick is already twitching at it.
  944. >It was composed of natural body odor, and two more smells you are rather familiar with.
  945. >They all complimented each other very well, as it was not unlike a light shower in a forest.
  946. >The second thing that hit you was something you were both expecting and not at the same time.
  947. >The sound of the door shattering startled Twilight for sure.
  948. >It started her partner as well.
  949. >That being Rainbow Dash.
  950. >In uncannily perverted detail, you see Twilight in the very same position you’d witnessed her in before, although her rear was arched up much higher than with you. Twilight’s cheeks are flushed, and you watch her expression shift between unadulterated lust, embarrassment and surprise as Rainbow is pulling away from her.
  951. >It’s not that you didn’t expect them to be having sex. No, that was fine.
  952. >As soon as you’d heard she had some super important meeting that no one should interrupt, that’s where your mind went first.
  953. >What surprised you the most was Rainbow Dash.
  954. >Again, not the fact that Rainbow and Twilight were fucking.
  955. >No. That was a given, considering she was staying at the castle.
  956. >Rainbow was rearing upwards and backing away from Twilight as quick as she could, startled from the sudden intrusion.
  957. >What you didn’t expect, was seeing Rainbow’s ri-fucking-diculous horse cock, complete with a sack and all, pulling out of Twilight as she did so.
  958. >It was over in literally seconds, and Twilight did nothing but sputter some syllables, her face growing redder with every utterance.
  959. >What must have been icing on the cake for this whole event was the moment Dash’s fifth leg finally fell out of Twilight.
  960. >A healthy serving of what you are certain to believe was Dash’s own brew of spunk poured out of the alicorn’s snatch.
  961. >Rainbow’s--and you cannot stress--ridiculously engorged member strained to stay up, the tip resting on the floor as a small rope of her seed escaped her.
  962. >Ah, you must have intruded right after her climax.
  963. >You feel a little bad about your timing.
  964. >Interrupted orgasms are not cool, and you’d never wish it on anyone.
  965. >You get a good look of Rainbows face.
  966. >Completely.
  967. >Red.
  968. >Not even her naturally cerulean coat could outshine the blood rushing to her face.
  969. >Both Twilight and Rainbow, their eyes were pinpricks, completely caught out of their element.
  970. >It was just too rich.
  971. >Your dick is as hard as diamonds in record time.
  972. >When it’s all over, no one has moved.
  973. >Twilight is still in position, too shocked to even move.
  974. >Rainbow is on all fours, and tries--but fails miserably--to hide her extra appendage.
  975. >Goddamn.
  976. >That thing certainly does make you feel a bit inferior.
  977. >Wait, no, that’s not what you should be thinking.
  978. >The room is completely quiet, save for the intense breathing of Twilight and Dash.
  979. >You didn’t see Bon Bon after she’d bucked the door open, but it sounds like she just turned around and got a late start to the party.
  980. >”Wh-what...the FUCK...is going on?!”
  981. >You inwardly facepalm.
  982. >Bon Bon has to be the tactless mare you’ve ever met.
  983. >Even more so than Dash, which is...impressive?
  984. >Twilight suddenly stands up, her horn glowing.
  985. >The smell is erased, and liquids and drops eradicated.
  986. >But Rainbow is sudden encased in a nearly blinding purple glow.
  987. >”W-wait Twilight! Y-you can’t cha-”
  988. >Dash’s words are cut short by her own dick twitching cry of ecstasy.
  989. >The light fades, and Dash is back to being a full mare again.
  990. >Her back legs twitch and wobble harshly.
  991. >”Y-you know you can’t do that r-right after I blow! I’m t-too sensitive!”
  992. >You see a few drops of Dash’s juices fall from behind her, disappearing just as quickly as they arrive, none of them hitting the floor.
  993. >Twilight’s horn is still alight, probably still tidying up things.
  994. >Without warning, Lyra and Bon Bon are pulled in front of you, into the room by Twilight’s magic.
  995. >You follow soon after.
  996. >The door slams closed, repaired and locked.
  997. >”Wh-WHAT are you DOING HERE?!”
  998. >Twilight’s voice is still shaking either from the embarrassment or from a recent orgasm.
  999. >You like to think it’s the latter.
1000. “Hey! We’re here like your letter asked! As soon as possible, remember?”
1001. >”Yeah, well I didn’t expect you to somehow show up in the middle of the day!?!”
1002. >Twilight has completely lost it.
1003. >”And what is SHE doing here?!”
  1004. >She throws a hoof in Bon Bon’s direction.
1005. “She’s the reason we’re here this early.”
1006. >”Oh my goddesses! This can’t be happening! My life has been completely DEVASTATED! I’ll never hear the end of it!”
  1007. “Twilight, now cal-”
1008. >”The headlines will read ‘Princess Twilight! A FUCKING WHORE!’”
  1009. >Shit.
  1010. >She’s going down a bad path.
1011. >You start to approach to give her some comfort.
  1012. “Tw-”
1013. >”NO! GET AWAY FROM ME! THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!”
1014. >You are suddenly picked up in Twilight’s magic.
1015. >The stuff of nightmares has finally come to fruition.
  1016. >Helplessness.
1017. >You are completely helpless against magic.
1018. >And to be held captive by the very mare that embodies magic, there are no chances of escape.
  1019. >”TWILIGHT!”
1020. >You see Rainbow speed over to Twilight to-
1021. >A loud crack is heard throughout the room as Rainbow punches Twilight in the jaw.
1022. >You fall to the floor.
1023. >Twilight stares at Rainbow as she gets closer and embraces the confused mare.
1024. >”Calm. Down. You know I’m just as embarrassed as you are right now, but you are NOT handling it well.”
  1025. >Twilight whimpers.
1026. >”I know, I know! But these are good ponies. They can keep a secret. We’ve all been keeping a pretty big one already.”
1027. >Rainbow releases Twilight slightly to guide her view over to Lyra.
  1028. >Twilight whimpers some more.
  1029. >Is she actually talking?
1030. >”Shhh. Don’t do that to yourself, Twi.”
1031. >Rainbow brings her back in, stroking her mane, wrapping her wings around her.
1032. >”You said we’d work on our problems together, and we are. This is just our starting point.”
1033. >Then something you didn’t expect, yet again.
  1034. >Rainbow guides Twilight’s head to hers.
  1035. >And they kiss.
1036. >It was a very passionate, caring kiss.
1037. >You just witnessed a side you’d never thought to see from Rainbow. Ever.
1038. >The kiss breaks, and Twilight is awestruck, her eyes wider than ever.
1039. >She mouths something, but you can’t hear her.
  1040. >Rainbow chuckles a little.
1041. >”I think they’ve just seen worse a few minutes ago.”
1042. >Twilight whips her head to her guests, meaning you and your two accomplices.
  1043. >”I…I-I’m so sorry...Anonymous… All of you…”
1044. >Her horn light’s up once again, her magic covering over everyone.
1045. >A swift breeze goes through you and you are forced to close your eyes.
1046. >It’s over in a moment, and you open your eyes to see the four mares clean and styled as if nothing had ever happened.
1047. >You look at yourself to see that your shirt is clean as well, free of the dirt and dust that had covered parts from when it was covering Lyra.
1048. >”There’s...a few things we need to discuss before we go any further.”
1049. >Twilight clears her voice, and looks over to Rainbow.
1050. >Rainbow takes a deep breath and nods to her.
1051. >”First off, Rainbow and I...are seeing each other.”
1052. >Her cheeks get some red at the admission of their relationship.
1053. “Hold up...I didn’t think you were into mares?”
  1054. >”I didn’t think so either...but-”
1055. >”-you never know until you try, right?”
1056. >Rainbow was quick to cut in on that conversation.
1057. >They both smile at each other.
1058. >It’s a small, sweet smile they share.
1059. >You raise your hand in the air.
1060. >All of the ponies present look at you.
1061. >Twilight seems to catch on quick enough.
1062. >”Uh, yes? Anon? Did you have a question?”
1063. “Yeah. So, not going to be subtle about it, but...why did Dash have a dick earlier?”
  1064. >Twilight’s face instantly blooms.
1065. >Dash picks up the question.
1066. >”Well, we’d been going at it for a while now, right? But it was usually just toys or strap-ons and stuff like that. Never fully mare on mare.”
1067. >”Th-that is, until last night, but that’s for another day.”
1068. >”Twilight’s been in heat for a couple days now and it’s hitting her hard.”
1069. >The other mares in the room appear to sympathize.
  1070. >Bon Bon’s face has softened considerably.
1071. >Lyra...tilted her head? I guess that looks like she’s sympathizing.
  1072. >Twilight continues.
1073. >”So, as before Dash would help me through it, but I wanted to try some new ideas to see if I could beat this estrus any faster.”
1074. >”She’d mentioned about wishing she had a stallion around that could rut her with zero consequences. That was when I remembered about our time with the breezies.”
1075. >We all seemed a bit confused after that remark.
  1076. “Breezies?”
  1077. >Twilight clarified for you.
1078. >”I guess you wouldn’t have seen them. They are a very small race of intelligent creatures that get their power from wind. Rainbow, Fluttershy and the majority of the pegasus population in Ponyville helped get the creatures home one year, but some of them were separated from the pack. In order for us to help them get back home, I was able to find a spell that transmogrified us into breezies as well, helping to guide them along their way.”
1079. >”So, with that in mind, I just asked her, ‘Why not make me into a stallion?’”
1080. >”And so...I did. Or tried to, at least. Heh heh.”
1081. >”It was awesome either way.”
1082. >Rainbow leans over and pecks Twilight on the cheek.
1083. >”I still got to keep my super sexy mare physique, and I had a pretty rockin’ cock to go with it. The best of both worlds. But damn, Twi. I didn’t know you liked ‘em THAT big.”
1084. >”Eh heh heh! I maaay have subconsciously imparted some personal tastes into the spell.”
1085. “It was fucking absurd, is what it was.”
  1086. >Why.
1087. >Why did you just say that.
  1088. >Rainbow smirks.
1089. >It’s never good when she smirks.
  1090. >”Oooo! I think somepony’s feeling a little insecure.”
1091. >She stalks over to you like a predator.
  1092. “N-...n-no.”
  1093. >You avoid eye contact.
  1094. >”What’s the matter?”
1095. >She raises a hoof up and prods your crotch.
1096. >You’re still hard from the scene earlier.
1097. >Rainbow continues to taunt you, her voice low and husky.
1098. >”Afraid that a mare can satisfy another mare better than you?”
  1099. >Oh, it’s on.
1100. “You know, you might be right. I mean, every guy compares their dick to any other they see in the back of their mind. And yeah, I might be a little...jealous.”
1101. >You crouch down, getting your face at the same level as hers.
1102. “But you forgot one thing, Dash.”
  1103. >”Oh yeah?”
1104. >You reach out and grab a wing at the base, trailing your fingers up and down the length, wrapping them delicately between feathers, and traveling back down to the base.
1105. >Rainbow is powerless against your subtle assault as her breath hitches.
  1106. >”I’ve got hands.”
1107. >You give her a little tug and squeeze before letting go.
1108. >She gasps, her face flushed all over again.
  1109. >”N-not fair, Anon.”
1110. >You start to chuckle to yourself when you hear a strained noise from beside you.
1111. >Lyra is shaking slightly, he back legs flexing every now and then.
  1112. >”Haaah!”
  1113. >Lyra breathes out a small moan.
  1114. “Uh, Lyra? You okay?”
1115. >You see a clear liquid drip onto the floor behind her.
  1116. >Wat.
1117. >”S-sorry, Anon. That was just s-s-sooooo hot watching you work her wing with your f-f-fingers. Mmmm.”
  1118. >Wow.
1119. >It’s a good thing no one can hear her.
1120. >This mare’s got it bad for you.
1121. >TOO BAD YOU CAN’T DO SHIT OR SHE’LL DIE.
1122. >Goddamned bullshit is what that is.
  1123. >Bon Bon suddenly coughs.
1124. >”Hey, so not to be that pony or anything, but this is a little BEYOND awkward and uncomfortable for me, so…”
1125. >Twilight immediately ran over to Bon Bon, almost pushing her into the door.
1126. >”OMIGOSH! I’m so so so sorry! Here, follow me and I’ll find you a room to stay in.”
  1127. >”A-a room?”
1128. >”You’re here to help Lyra, right?”
  1129. >”Well, yeah. We’re...we’re best friends.”
1130. >Twilight smiles warmly at that remark, and opens the door.
1131. >”Then you’re staying with us. We’ll work together until she is better than ever.”
1132. >They both begin to trot out of the room.
1133. >"I'll fill you in on what we know about Lyra and her condition."
1134. >You see Twilight turn and look back to you then to Rainbow.
  1135. >You see Rainbow nod.
1136. >And with that, Twilight and Bon Bon leave the room, shutting the door behind them.
  1137. "So..."
1138. >You gaze down at the floor.
1139. >Rainbow scoots a hoof across the ground lazily.
  1140. >"Yeah..."
1141. >You look towards Lyra, but she is still shaking slightly.
  1142. >Poor girl.
1143. >You’d love nothing more than to help relieve that sexual frustration she's built up.
1144. >"Hey, Lyra, since you're having some, uh, trouble, why don't we leave you alone?"
1145. >Lyra quickly looks up to you.
1146. "It'll be fine, babe. Dash and I'll just walk around and talk for a minute. Twilight should be back before too long, anyway."
1147. >Lyra hangs her head a bit, then slowly nods.
1148. >She's really not into this idea of being left alone, but she's in the castle. Probably one of the safest places she could be.
  1149. >Considering Twilight's around, at least.
1150. >You and Dash head out of the room and start walking down the hall.
1151. >Before you even get to the stairs Dash has already stopped by another door, opening it and walking into the dark room.
  1152. >You follow curiously.
1153. >Lights are thrown on and you see the room for what it is.
  1154. >A study.
1155. >A few desks some small bookcases, filing cabinets, etc.
1156. >Rainbow makes it to a table in the center of the room and sits by it on the floor.
1157. >You follow suit and shit across from her.
  1158. >"...Sorry."
  1159. "Hm?"
1160. >Dash is avoiding eye contact.
1161. >"I'm...I'm sorry. For flipping out on you like that. I just...couldn't handle it anymore."
  1162. "I understand the feeling."
  1163. >"...Will you forgive me?"
1164. >You ponder on this for a bit.
1165. >Dash got you pretty good but you replied in kind.
1166. >You're both no worse for wear.
1167. >And when it's all said and done, you got to fingerbang this shit out of Twilight because of it.
1168. "I will, after I embarrass you in front of your new girlfriend."
  1169. >She laughs a bit.
1170. >"It's weird, right? Me and Twilight?"
  1171. "A little, but I've seen weirder."
1172. >You smirk, thinking about your own relationship.
1173. >A question that's been simmering in your mind since you got Twilight's letter surfaces.
  1174. "So...what happened? After you, uh...saw us?"
  1175. >Rainbow stiffens.
  1176. >"Oh. That."
1177. >She looks to the door as if she's wishing someone will come through it to save her.
1178. >After a few moments, she turns back and stares at the table.
  1179. >"I uh...I didn't take it so well."
  1180. >----------------------------------------------
1181. >Stupid Anonymous and his stupid questions!
1182. >The wind whips across your mane as you power through the pain of your fight just to get home.
1183. >You are Rainbow Dash, and your mouth is in terrible agony from Anon's claws.
1184. >You had just gotten your ass handed to you.
  1185. >And it terrified you.
1186. >Never before had you felt utterly helpless.
1187. >Well, except for when that rock caught your wing in Ghastly Gorge.
1188. >That wasn’t as big of a deal, though. Your friends knew where you were.
1189. >If you didn’t show up after a while, you’re certain that they would have come for you.
  1190. >This was different.
  1191. >Your friends weren't there.
  1192. >Anon had you pinned.
  1193. >You couldn’t move.
1194. >All you could do was scream.
1195. >And pray that it would be quick.
1196. >But he let you go for some reason.
1197. >A part of you wishes that he would have just finished you off.
  1198. >You're a terrible friend.
1199. >You've ruined the bond between the closest thing you've had to a family since you left home.
1200. >Other mares just glare at you as you walk by.
1201. >You strut in front of them, claiming that its all bragging rights.
1202. >But it tore you up inside.
1203. >You make it back inside of your house only for your stomach to suddenly lurch again.
1204. >You head straight for the bathroom and vomit more of last nights dinner and today's dirt I to the bathtub.
1205. >Your forelegs are weak, barely holding you up.
  1206. >You didn't want this.
1207. >You didn't want anyone to see your feelings.
  1208. >Your true colors.
  1209. >They're such ugly colors.
1210. >You turn to your sink and rinse your mouth out, spitting blood, stomach acid and dirt down the drain.
1211. >You look up and see somepony you haven't seen in a long time.
  1212. >A traitor.
  1213. >A whore.
  1214. >A broken mare.
1215. >You see yourself for what you really are.
  1216. >Filth.
1217. >Anon was right to make you eat dirt.
  1218. >You're below dirt.
1219. >And you did it to yourself.
  1220. >...
  1221. "Well...FUCK ME!"
1222. >A hoof flies into the mirror, shattering it.
1223. >Small images of your battered image stare back at you.
1224. >Rage starts to fill your body.
1225. >You scream wildly, kicking away the pieces of the mirror wherever you can.
  1226. >They keep staring.
1227. >You bring your hoof down on many larger pieces.
1228. >The smaller remains keep staring.
1229. >You bash your head into the door.
1230. >You buck at your toilet, destroying the top half, water flowing over the floor.
1231. >You pull at your own mane, ripping a few hairs out clean as you yell to the skies.
1232. >Bursting through the bathroom door, you propel yourself to your bed, where you slam every limb available to you against the soft surface.
1233. >The blankets muffle your cries, soaking up the tears that have started flowing down your face.
1234. >The thud of your relentless beating and your torn throat are all you hear.
1235. >You keep this up until your body screams from the exhaustion, and sleep soon takes you.
1236. >Your last thoughts being about the purple made who would never love you again.
  1237. >...
  1238. >...
  1239. >...
1240. >You're drowsy, and your face hurts.
1241. >Yawning and stretching, you feel your back pop and a world of stress leaves you.
1242. >Running your tongue over your teeth, you taste the familiar taste of blood and grimace as you swallow it down.
1243. >The sun is shining in your face as the events of this morning come back to you.
1244. >Your bring a foreleg to your snout and sniffle.
1245. >Now that you've calmed down and are more level headed you head into your kitchen for a quick snack.
1246. >Honestly, you're not hungry in the least, but you have a strict diet to keep your body in the shape it is and it's just become a mindless routine.
1247. >A quick bowl of some dry oats with a glass of a protein mix and you head back into your bedroom.
1248. >You've made up your mind, and there's a few things you need to grab before your next stop.
1249. >Reaching under your bed, you pull out a good-sized box.
1250. >Probably a leg in length and width.
  1251. >Whatever.
1252. >You open it and gaze upon its contents.
  1253. >Toys.
1254. >And not the kind you take to show and tell.
1255. >These were for your sessions with Twilight to help her get through her estrus.
1256. >It was shortly after you’d starting bangning Anon that Twilight would come to you for ‘release sessions’ as she called them.
1257. >She’d said that she was embarrassed to ask any of the our other friends.
1258. >Said that you were the most open and wouldn’t judge her.
  1259. >And you didn’t.
1260. >Not for that reason anyway.
1261. >You grab a saddle bag from your closet and fill it up with some of Twilight’s favorites.
1262. >The strap-on has always been a huge hit with her.
1263. >Today starts Twilight’s original heat cycle, and they are usually more potent than these random once off’s that have been happening since she turned into an alicorn..
1264. >You can’t let this fight between you and Anon get in the way of what you have left of your relationship with Twilight.
1265. >If this is all she needs you for, then so be it.
1266. >You finish packing and head to your bathroom.
  1267. >It’s a disaster.
1268. >Luckily, your cloud house/mansion has more than one bathroom.
1269. >You look in the mirror and see that you definitely need to clean up a bit.
1270. >A quick shower, and your coat is back to its normal sheen.
1271. >There are some nasty bruises and cuts on the sides of your head.
1272. >A quick change in your mane style covers them up easily enough.
1273. >Your gums have already healed up, but you definitely wouldn’t want to smile at anyone.
1274. >Brushing your teeth rids you mouth of the remaining dried blood and dirt.
1275. >A spit, a quick smile, and everything checks out.
  1276. >Time to head to Twilight’s.
1277. >She’s usually the one to show up first, but it might be good to surprise her every once in a while.
1278. >You throw your saddlebag on and trot out of your door.
1279. >Looking down from your home, you can see the path leading to Anon’s house and where it branches of into town.
1280. >Tartarus, you hope you don’t run into him.
1281. >May just have to avoid him for the rest of your life.
  1282. >You’re okay with that.
1283. >It’s easy enough to move a cloud home.
1284. >Just have to get the approval and all that.
1285. >You dive head first and swoop out into the open.
1286. >Your head stings a bit more than you’d hoped.
1287. >The constant flapping of your mane against the sides of your head does not help.
1288. >You make it to Twilight’s castle in minutes.
1289. >You get a giddy and warm feeling in your chest just thinking about the look on Twilight’s face when you surprise her for a “house visit”.
1290. >She’s mentioned having a session in the castle before.
1291. >What better time than during her original heat?
1292. >You fly over to the throne room windows to prepare your surprise entrance.
  1293. >Hmmm…
  1294. >Not there.
  1295. >You check the cafeteria.
  1296. >Nope.
  1297. >Not there either.
  1298. >Library.
  1299. >Office.
  1300. >Study.
  1301. >Nope.
  1302. >Nope.
  1303. >Nope.
1304. >Guess that leaves her room.
1305. >She only uses her room to sleep, though.
  1306. >Must be taking a nap.
1307. >A scheduled nap, you snicker to yourself.
1308. >That pony needs to learn to be a bit more impuls-
1309. >Your thoughts are lost as you come to the window of Twilight’s bedroom.
1310. >She’s here, lying on her back, eyes closed, mouth hanging open, wings spread against the floor.
1311. >And there’s Anon, fingering her into oblivion.
1312. >The color drains from your face.
1313. >Your heart is about to burst through your chest.
  1314. >Your hooves feel numb.
1315. >There are no words that you can say to summarize the amount of hurt your entire being is feeling.
1316. >But...why does it hurt so much?
1317. >You happened to show up just in time for Twilight to finish, her essence gushing and covering Anonymous.
1318. >If it wasn’t for the situation at hand, you would have commented on how much you loved the potency Twilight’s orgasms.
1319. >She makes some of the most adorable faces.
  1320. >And the best messes.
  1321. >But you don’t.
1322. >Anonymous has taken the last thing you hold dear and torn it away from you.
1323. >Twilight finally got what she wanted.
  1324. >She won’t need you anymore.
1325. >Your friends are already unhappy with how you handled this Anonymous problem.
1326. >Tears are suddenly streaming down your face.
  1327. >It’s just…
  1328. >...unfair.
1329. >At least, you want to believe that.
1330. >You want to believe that you’d been dealt some cruel hand by fate.
1331. >You want to believe that Anonymous is the one responsible for all of this.
1332. >You want to believe that it’s not your fault.
  1333. >But it is.
1334. >You made the decisions that led you to this point.
1335. >And this is your payment.
1336. >You slam your hooves into the wall near the window and take off into the sky as quickly as possible.
1337. >Wind howling in your ears, air stinging your senses, tail whipping around wildly from your speed.
1338. >The tears in your eyes make it more than difficult to see through, but you have enough experience flying under similar circumstances from your Sonic Rainboom exploits.
  1339. >Besides, you don’t even care where you’re going.
1340. >You just want away from it all as soon as possible.
1341. >Twilight’s expression of pure elation with every thrust of Anon’s arm keeps flashing through your mind.
  1342. >Again.
  1343. >And again.
  1344. >And again.
  1345. >AND AGAIN.
  1346. >HARDER.
  1347. >HARDER!
  1348. >FASTER!
  1349. >FASTER!
1350. >You felt yourself banking to the left and losing speed.
1351. >The sound of the wind has been replaced by your wails of inner turmoil.
1352. >You pushed away your friends.
  1353. >You pushed away Twilight.
1354. >You pushed away everything that you hold dear.
1355. >All because you were too focused on ruining one human’s image.
1356. >All because you were jealous.
  1357. >...
  1358. >And it hits you.
1359. >You were jealous of the attention Twilight was giving Anon the whole time.
1360. >It wasn’t that she wasn’t herself, no she was exactly who she’s always been this entire time.
1361. >Getting overly wrapped up in new things.
1362. >Obsessing over some of the weirdest happenings.
  1363. >It just felt like she’d stopped looking at...you…
1364. >Your chest is shuddering with each cry of emotional pain.
1365. >What rational part of your mind is left that isn’t consumed with self-loathing took note of your surroundings as you finally stopped at the entrance to Ghastly Gorge.
1366. >You don’t bother with a proper landing, simply going for tumbling over yourself.
1367. >Just as a way to prove to you that yes, you really did ruin everything you ever had in this world.
  1368. >It’s real.
1369. >Water works still in effect, you are soon left with a few hiccups and mumbled curses aimed towards yourself.
  1370. >Stupid.
  1371. >Idiot.
  1372. >Mule.
  1373. >Whore.
  1374. >Bitch.
  1375. >Cunt.
  1376. >Waste.
  1377. >Useless.
  1378. >Careless.
1379. >Each one hurts, but you’ve already dug to the bottom of your grave.
1380. >You’re just hitting the shovel against the coffin, now.
1381. >You’ve gotten to your hooves and started strolling down into the natural chasm.
1382. >Memories of a race long ago resurface.
1383. >Memories of an unlikely friend coming to the rescue.
  1384. >Tank.
1385. >Chances are he’d be better off with someone else.
1386. >The Gorge is silent, save for a few critters here and there scurrying about.
1387. >You’ve made it to the bottom and have been simply pulling yourself along for no reason.
1388. >Just something to keep your mind busy.
  1389. >It works, but barely.
1390. >You are exhausted from your tantrum on the way here.
1391. >The constant conflict between the weight of your decisions and your poor attempts at distraction disrupt your sense of time.
1392. >Your eyes have long since dried out, now just bloodshot identifiers of your broken state for anypony that happens to stroll by.
1393. >But nopony has come by.
  1394. >Nopony will.
1395. >You’ve been wandering for hours and are nearly at the same point where the rock had caught your wing.
1396. >Your stomach rumbles, reminding you that you’re still alive.
  1397. >...
1398. >Well, this is as good a place as any to just disappear.
1399. >Very slim chance anypony will find you out here.
1400. >And maybe not to disappear for good, but to think things over.
  1401. >To start a new life.
1402. >Your savings are all back in Ponyville.
1403. >You can wait and get them later.
1404. >For now, though, you can live off the land.
1405. >Grass never hurt nopony, so it won’t hurt you.
1406. >Keeping yourself away from making anymore mistakes is your focus.
1407. >You start to settle in for a nap to keep the exhaustion at bay.
1408. >Flopping to your side, you let your head slam into the ground, the pain just a bit of a reminder how stupid you are.
1409. >Your eyes are heavy, but they just won’t close.
1410. >Although physically, your body is ready for rest, your mind has yet to give up.
1411. >You start to remember better times.
1412. >Of when you first met Fluttershy.
1413. >Twilight’s first appearance in Ponyville.
  1414. >Your first Sonic Rainboom.
1415. >How it felt to know that all of your closest friends were tied together by that one feat of determination.
1416. >The moment you realized Pinkie Pie was pretty fun to hang out with.
1417. >All of this, of course being before Anonymous showed up.
1418. >Before you made those stupid decisions.
  1419. >Before you ruined everything…
  1420. >...
1421. >You forced your eyes closed and waited…
  1422. >...
1423. >Apparently, you’d waited so long that you fell asleep.
1424. >What woke you up, however gave you an even bigger surprise than anything.
  1425. >You could hear hoofbeats.
  1426. >Hard hoofbeats.
  1427. >Somepony was running.
1428. >And from the sound of things, running towards you.
1429. >There was something else with that hoofbeats, though.
1430. >It almost sounds like somepony had a cold.
1431. >Like light coughs and sniffling.
1432. >Sorta like how Twilight sounds when she’s crying.
1433. >You hear a reserved murmur, like a soft prayer, come from the quickly approaching hoofbeats.
1434. >You are barely awake by this point.
1435. >There’s no reason to get up.
1436. >If they leave you alone, there’s a better chance for them not to end up hurt.
  1437. >So you lie still.
1438. >You hear the newcomer’s hooves finally start to slow as they get nearer to you.
  1439. >There’s a gasp.
  1440. >”No…”
  1441. >A small, helpless noise.
  1442. >”...Goddesses, no.”
  1443. >You know that voice.
1444. >You would travel to the ends of Equestria for that voice.
1445. >The voice of Twilight Sparkle.
1446. >Your chest is sudden tight, stomach fluttering about.
1447. >You slowly start to rise to your own hooves to face your guest.
  1448. >”Rainbow!”
1449. >Wow, you are worn out way more than you thought.
1450. >It’s a chore just to get on all four legs.
1451. >You turn your gaze to your guest.
1452. >Twilight stands before you, a few yards away.
1453. >Her hair is plastered to her neck, sweat dripping from her.
1454. >You have said it many times to yourself, but Twilight is a knockout of a mare.
1455. >Your heart is picking up its pace.
  1456. >"For f-ff-ffucks sake! I thought-"
1457. >She chokes on her words a bit, swallowing heavily.
  1458. "Thought I killed mys-"
  1459. >"Don't say it!"
1460. >She closes her eyes and breathes in through her nose, holds it, then releases a shaky huff.
1461. >"Bless the Sun, Rainbow. Don't say that."
1462. >Twilight tries to relax a bit, adjusting her stance and sitting down on the ground.
1463. >She looks around her, lifting a hoof, setting it back down, avoiding eye contact.
  1464. >"I-...I don't..."
1465. >She's started digging at the dirt lightly until she has a small hill of land in front of her.
1466. >She kicks it, spreading dirt across the ground in front of her.
  1467. >"...I don't know what to say..."
  1468. >Hm.
1469. >Her rear legs are shaking a bit, even while sitting.
1470. >There’s a familiar scent teasing you in the air.
  1471. >You got a few ideas.
  1472. "D'you ha-"
1473. >Your question is cut short as you cough harshly, your throat drier than to realized.
1474. >The sound of your own voice surprised you.
  1475. >You start again.
1476. "Did you have a good time?"
  1477. >"What?"
1478. "With Anon. Was it everything you wanted it to be?”
  1479. >”Rainbo-”
1480. “He was great, wasn’t he? He really knows how to make a mare feel alive.”
  1481. >”We didn-”
1482. “Guess you won’t need me anymore as your estrus relief.”
  1483. >“Dash. Stop.”
  1484. >You take a few steps back.
  1485. “No, it’s fine. I get it.”
1486. >”No, you don’t Dash. You only know half of it.”
1487. “Really? Because I’m pretty certain I’ve got this all figured out.”
  1488. >”And I’m telling you that you don’t!”
1489. >You sit on the ground roughly, staring straight at Twilight.
1490. >Your eyes finally meet since she first arrived.
1491. “Fine! Lecture me on it since you’re so damn good at it!”
  1492. >Her pupils shrink slightly.
1493. >There’s a lot going on in that head of hers, you can tell.
1494. >It’s making you second guess your own knowledge on this situation.
  1495. >”I...I’m a...uh...I-I’m a-”
  1496. “Spit it out already!”
  1497. >”I’m a hopeless jealous FREAK!”
  1498. >...
  1499. >Alright, you didn’t expect that.
1500. >She turns her gaze from you.
1501. >”You heard about what I did to Lyra! Dash, I could have KILLED her! And...what scares me…is that I think I may have wanted to.”
1502. >This is definitely not what you were expecting.
1503. >”As you know, I went way overboard with Lyra. I shunned any other mare out there that had anything to do with Anonymous. Expect for you.”
1504. >Twilight rubs her head with a forehoof.
1505. >”Rainbow, I was so angry and upset over what you did, I didn’t know how to handle myself. There was so much conflict between wanting to hate you so much for what you did to me behind my back, and wanting to forgive you because of how important your friendship is to me. So I took it out on other ponies. It wasn’t until I flew away and went to Zecora’s that I found the real cause of my problem.”
  1506. >Your eyes meet again.
1507. >”I was so...so jealous of you, Rainbow Dash. I was jealous of all of those other mares. You have the freedom to go wherever you want, do whatever you want, and even sleep with whoever you want. You have the freedom to experiment, and the freedom of a pliable image. I don’t, and it just burned me up on the inside over time. I’m a princess now, Dash. I can’t be...I can’t do those things anymore.”
  1508. >Wow.
1509. >You never realized that Twilight was going through this inner turmoil.
1510. >Guess you never really saw her as a princess.
1511. >And that all makes sense and you sympathise with her, but there’s still some things you need clarified.
  1512. “...I see...But, there’s something that doesn’t make sense.”
1513. >”The visits. I know. I’m...not particularly proud of this at all.”
1514. >Twilight almost looks like she shrinks in on herself.
1515. >”I got low, Dash. Well, that’s probably not right. I, uh… I went a little insane. I’m afraid I still am, honestly.”
  1516. “Wh-”
1517. >”I faked my heat cycles!”
1518. >Twilight flinches at declaring it.
1519. >And you are absolutely dumbstruck.
1520. >WHY WOULD ANY MARE DO THAT?
1521. >”I-I came up with a spell to induce estrus whenever I wanted. I did it--Celestia save me--I did it so I c-could be closer t-to Anonymous…th-through you.”
  1522. >Alright.
1523. >So, this has officially been the craziest day ever in your book.
1524. >You would bet your bottom bit that Discord is behind all of this somehow.
1525. >But Discord wouldn’t take things this far.
  1526. >Not anymore, at least.
  1527. >So, Twilight was right.
1528. >You had no idea as to how broad the scope of this whole ordeal was.
1529. >Only now has the information clicked in your mind.
1530. >Anger over her betrayal starts to build.
1531. >She used you as a gateway drug of sorts to get a taste of something she never could get.
1532. >She used you to get closer to the one thing you were trying to keep her away from.
  1533. >...
1534. >And looking at the pitiful state Twilight is in right now, the anger slowly subsides as the other side of the coin--your side--comes into view.
  1535. >You were no better.
1536. >Twilight betrayed you to get closer to Anonymous.
1537. >You betrayed her to keep her away from him.
1538. >The world is truly mad.
1539. >A loud sniffle breaks your concentration and brings your focus back to the mare in front of you.
1540. >Her entire body shakes, pupils have shrunk entirely.
  1541. >She’s started hyperventilating.
  1542. >”A-And...I can underst-stand...if you d-don’t want...t-to be my...f-...fffr-...ffrie-OH GODDESSES DASH! PLEASE FORGIVE MEEEHEEHEE!”
1543. >Twilight has completely collapsed in on herself, her entire body falling to the ground, muzzle buried in her forelegs as she cries her heart out to you.
1544. >”I’M SO SORRY! PLEASE, DASH! PLEASE! DON’T LEAVE ME! I CAN’T BARE THE THOUGHT OF IT! I CAN'T HANDLE THE THOUGHT OF LOSING YOU!”
1545. >You are beyond shocked at Twilight’s sudden change.
1546. >Never once have you seen this mare break down in front of you like this.
1547. >Not even when she thought Celestial was dead from that potion Zecora gave her to see the past.
1548. >You may not have ever seen Twilight as a princess before, but you never thought you would have seen her as a broken-hearted filly.
1549. >Twilight starts trying to shove as many words out of her mouth as possible while hiccups and sniffles interrupted her speech.
1550. >”I’m so sorry Dash, it’s all my fault, I should *hic* never have taken any interest in Anonymous, you mean so *hic* much to me, you’re the only reason I am who I am today, after I found out that the two *sniff* of you were having sex I used you to get as close to *hic* him as possible without actually having sex with him, *sniff* I’m a terrible pony, I don’t deserve to be a princess, I didn’t even want this to *sniff* being with”
1551. >A deep inhale and a shudder throughout her body, she finally lifts her head out of her forelegs.
1552. >”I...I’m just so scared, Dash. So much has happened. Are we really this terrible? I’m so scared that I’ll freak out one day and do something horrible to somepony.”
1553. >You are still in shock from the sight of Twilight breaking in front of you.
1554. >But your wits are soon collected at her lull in rambling.
1555. >You see this poor mare on the ground, confused and scared of herself.
  1556. >This isn’t Twilight Sparkle.
1557. >This isn’t the Twilight you wanted at all.
1558. >There’s only one way to get Twilight Sparkle back.
1559. >And that’s for you to work for it directly.
1560. >You step closer to her.
1561. >She gazes up at you.
  1562. “Twilight.”
1563. >Her eyes are wide, still glistening from the tears.
  1564. >Her eyes are breathtaking.
  1565. “...We messed up, huh?”
  1566. >You give her a sad smile.
  1567. >Twilight chokes out a sad laugh.
  1568. >”I never hated you.”
1569. “And I never meant to betray you.”
1570. >You take a deep breath through your snout.
1571. >Your heart is about to burst from your ribs.
1572. >Not because of anger or hurt, but because of something more.
  1573. >Something you finally get.
1574. >The reason you fought for Twilight’s well being in the first place.
1575. >The reason you held on to Twilight as much as you could.
  1576. >The reason you stayed.
1577. >In one smooth motion, you crouch down, bringing a hoof to Twilight’s chin, and connect through a passionate kiss.
1578. >You felt Twilight flinch back at the sudden action, but you push in more, deepening the kiss.
1579. >You brush your tongue against her lips.
1580. >She hesitantly opens her mouth, her tongue peeking out to meet your own.
1581. >They engage in a dance all their own as you shift your weight to your rear legs to free your forelegs, allowing you to wrap them around the back of Twilight’s neck.
1582. >The kiss continues as though nothing has happened.
1583. >You are both equally fighting over the other’s mouth, but neither are winning.
1584. >You slowly disconnect, a small snap of saliva drips to the ground as you part.
1585. >Twilight’s look is priceless as you return with a warm smile.
1586. “Guess I’ll have to make sure you don’t hurt anypony, huh?”
  1587. >”D-Dash…B-But I’m not g-”
1588. “I think there’s enough evidence to disprove that. Besides…”
1589. >You playfully flick her ear with a hoof, leaning in and licking up the length of her horn.
1590. >She moans out in pleasure.
1591. “Let’s just call it an experiment.”
1592. >Twilight’s bold eyes are sucking you in again.
  1593. >”So...d-”
1594. “Yes, I forgive you...as long as you’ll forgive someone as stupid as me.”
  1595. >”Rainbow, you’re not stupid.”
1596. “Sure doesn’t feel like I’ve been very smart throughout this.”
1597. >You both sit in silence for a while.
1598. >”I forgive you, Dash. I think we both lost sight of what we wanted after a while.”
1599. “Well, I’ve got my eyes on what I want right now.”
1600. >Twilight catches on and blushes, but playing along.
  1601. >”Oh yeah? Ahd what’s that?”
1602. >She tries to sound sultry, but her voice is still shaky from earlier.
  1603. “You.”
1604. >You both go in for another kiss.
1605. >It’s much shorter and sweeter, but the passion isn’t lost.
1606. >”Dash...I won’t say that I haven’t given a sliver of thought about it, but...do you think this will really work?”
1607. “Like I said: It’s an experiment. Come up with a conclusion after we’ve gathered all the data or however it goes.”
1608. >Twilight giggles at your attempt to be clever.
1609. >She goes to stand up, but you quickly push her over on her back, positioning yourself on top of her.
  1610. >”D-Dash! Wha-”
1611. >You bend down and kiss her again.
  1612. >It perfect every time.
  1613. >There’s no guesswork.
1614. >Your lips fit like they were made for each other.
1615. >Your tongues find one another in no time as you lower yourself against Twilight’s chest.
1616. >You flick her teeth and pull back.
  1617. “I’m experimenting.”
  1618. >------------------------------------------------
1619. >”And I’m gonna stop there because there’s no reason for you to hear it.”
1620. >You are Anon, and you just felt like you got cock blocked out of some juicy mare-on-mare action.
1621. “WHA-? You can’t leave me hanging on something like that, Dash! You ALWAYS tell me about your sexcapades.”
  1622. >”Well, not this time.”
1623. >You see Dash blush and smile to herself.
1624. >”That was...something special. Just for me and Twilight.”
1625. >You fold your arms and huff.
1626. >There’s a little more that you’d like to know, so you prod a bit.
1627. “Well...did she tell you about what we were-”
1628. >”Yeah, and I get it. Thanks, I guess, for getting it out of her system.”
  1629. >You nod.
  1630. “Mutually beneficial.”
  1631. >Dash nods.
1632. >A strangling silence fills the void.
1633. “Sorry, also...for making you eat dirt.”
  1634. >”No, no… It was...just the wake up call I needed, honestly. I’m not inf-...infala-...infallible.”
1635. >Twilight must be teaching her some words.
1636. >You smile at the notion of the two of them teaching each other their respective crafts.
1637. >You foresee Twilight becoming a much better flier, and Dash becoming much more well-rounded.
1638. >They really do compliment one another.
1639. >Your reverie is broken at the sound of a grumbling stomach.
1640. >A glance across the table and Rainbow’s reddening face tells you who it was.
  1641. “Hungry?”
1642. >She scratches the back of her head.
1643. >”Heh. Yeah. Sex really works up an appetite for me.”
1644. >You start to get up from the table.
  1645. >Rainbow follows suit.
1646. >”There’s a cafeteria not too far from here. We can grab something real quick.”
1647. “I’d like to check in on Lyra first. We left her in a bit of a state.”
1648. >”Oh. Yeah. So, is it true, then? You two can’t do any fun stuff or she’ll die?”
1649. >The facts come back hard and cold.
1650. >The world loses a bit of its color as you go over Twilight’s words in the letter again.
  1651. >Two weeks.
  1652. “...Yeah.”
1653. >”Man, that must suck. I hope you guys figure this out soon. She needs it. Bad.”
1654. >You both walk back to the room marked by Twilight’s cutie mark.
1655. >Opening a door slightly, you peek inside.
1656. >Lyra is on her side on the floor, back facing you.
1657. >You step inside to get a better look, motioning to Rainbow to stay outside.
1658. >Crouching down next to Lyra, you place a hand on her side and stroke her coat lightly, scratching her a little by her cutie marks.
1659. >Lyra turns her head and starts doing her thing to get off the floor.
1660. >After she’s flopped herself on her hooves, she stretches.
  1661. >”Mmmmmmmmmmm…Sorry. I dozed off.”
1662. “Yeah. Sorry for leaving you like that, but I figured it must have been pretty embarrassing for you.”
1663. >”No, it’s fine. Thank you, actually. I just slept it off is all.”
1664. “Well, we’re going to head down to the cafeteria. Want to come along?”
1665. >”Sure! I’d love to see more of the castle!”
1666. >You head back out into the hall followed by Lyra, greeted by Dash flexing her wings and doing some stretches.
  1667. >Some fairly provocative stretches.
1668. >Mhmm. That mare’s body is a temple, and she treats it as such.
  1669. >Makes you wonder, though.
  1670. >What’s everyone else’s body like?
1671. >Twilight’s is like a beautiful palace with a confusing, nearly maddening maze on the inside, set on a gorgeous natural landscape.
1672. >Your body is like a popular bar in a nice end of town--eager to please as many as possible in the worst way, but still gets cleaned up every night.
  1673. >Bon Bon is a bitch.
  1674. >Lyra’s body...is like an abandoned factory...with a nice ass.
  1675. >Fuck, you aren’t good at this.
1676. >Dash looks between the two of you after finishing up her stupid workout thing.
1677. >”Sorry. Wings get cramped staying indoors. Ready to head down?”
1678. >You look to Lyra, who looks up to you and nods.
  1679. “I think we are!”
  1680. >...
  1681. >...
  1682. >...
1683. >The little food run went easier than expected.
1684. >Twilight’s staff must have been briefed on Lyra.
1685. >You did happen to spot a few ponies turn a bit green before running off.
  1686. >Quite comical.
1687. >Of course, the food was fantastic.
  1688. >It’s a fucking castle.
  1689. >With a princess.
1690. >Would the food really be bad?
  1691. >The selection was outrageous.
1692. >As always, there was no meat, but you’ve just about gotten rid of those cravings.
1693. >It comes up every now and then. And you cry.
1694. >You aren’t the only intelligent carnivore on the planet, but Ponyville--as the name implies--is 98% pony.
1695. >Food choices cater to the populace of the location.
1696. >You asked Twilight about getting meat at one point and she mentioned something about getting it shipped from another city to Ponyville.
  1697. >That sounded a lot like work.
  1698. >Fuck that shit.
1699. >You settled on a cheese pizza for yourself.
  1700. >Dash had a hayburger.
  1701. >With a salad.
  1702. >And hayfries.
  1703. >And a milkshake.
  1704. >And apple fritters.
1705. >Bitch wasn’t lying when she said she was hungry.
1706. >She put it all away, too.
  1707. >Not a fucking scrap leftover.
1708. >Yeah, that whole “body is a temple” thing just went out the window.
1709. >Lyra walked around the cafeteria freely, just excited to be able to walk around in the presence of other ponies again.
1710. >You saw her wave to a few workers, but they didn’t really know how to respond.
1711. >The general reaction was either fear or pity.
1712. >Not a single one made a move to talk to her.
1713. >Either they already knew, or they just avoided it.
1714. >Rainbow gave the two of you a quick tour around the castle. Lyra had never seen the throne room, so that’s where we started.
1715. >You could tell she was in awe the whole time. She ran around the seats excitedly.
1716. >She’d asked you to ask Rainbow if she could sit in her throne.
1717. >Dash said it wasn’t a big deal, so Lyra climbed up into the seat and began animatedly ordering invisible ponies around.
1718. >Of course, Rainbow couldn’t hear her, but it made you laugh.
1719. >It was great to see Lyra enjoying herself.
1720. >The next stop was the library.
  1721. >To some people, it’s a huge deal.
1722. >To others, like the three of you, it was a waste of time.
1723. >You all moved on to the fitness area.
1724. >Dash gave us a wonderful little show of her ego as she performed various stunts and obstacle courses with speed and ease.
1725. >Alright, so it was pretty damn impressive.
1726. >It just gets a little tiring once you’ve seen it so many times.
1727. >The tour seems to blur past you, your mind snagged on one thought.
  1728. >Two weeks.
1729. >You look outside and see the sun setting.
1730. >The tour had finished a while ago.
1731. >Luck would have it that while you wandered around you ended up finding your room, which is where you and Lyra are currently.
1732. >Dash left for her own “chambers”, as she corrected us.
1733. >Damn. Twilight really is rubbing off on her.
  1734. >The day is a total blur.
1735. >You can hardly remember how you even ended up at Twilight’s castle to being with.
1736. >All that you could think about was the letter.
  1737. >Two weeks.
  1738. >”Anonymous?”
1739. >Lyra calls for you, but you don’t register it immediately.
  1740. >”Anon? What’s wrong?”
1741. >The two of you are sitting on the bed, a bit of distance between you.
  1742. “It’s...It’s nothing, Lyra.”
1743. >You feel the bed move as she gets up and walks over to you, sitting down beside you.
1744. >”It’s not nothing. What is it?”
1745. >You really don’t want to tell her about the limited time she has.
1746. >That’s the last thing she needs. More stress about this whole ordeal.
  1747. >But…
1748. >If you were going to die, and you only had two weeks left…
1749. >...wouldn’t you want someone to tell you?
1750. >There could be a lot of things Lyra wants to do before she-
  1751. >Stop.
1752. >You’re getting upset just thinking about it.
1753. >You can feel your chest trembling with every breath.
  1754. >”Anon? Please.”
  1755. >...Please…
  1756. >”Tell me.”
1757. >You turn and face the unjustly mechanized mare that you’ve grown so close to.
1758. >She is surprised by the tears streaming down your face as she reels back slightly.
1759. >You move quick, and embrace her, your arms locking around her back.
1760. >You hold her tightly as you cry into her shoulder, just as she had done with you.
  1761. >This mare.
1762. >There’s nothing you wouldn’t do for her.
1763. >But the problem doesn’t lie with your resolve.
1764. >There’s just nothing you CAN do for her.
  1765. >All you can do…
  1766. >...is love her.
  1767. “Lyra…”
  1768. >”Y-yes?”
1769. >She’s getting emotional over your behavior.
  1770. “I-...I’m sorry.”
  1771. >”F-for what?”
  1772. “For not telling you.”
1773. >You give her a tight squeeze before letting her go, slowly.
1774. >Bring a hand up to your face, you wipe away the remains of your little breakdown.
1775. >Lyra keeps her lens fixed on you, waiting for your words.
  1776. “The letter.”
1777. >You reach and pull out the letter from your pocket once again.
1778. >It’s wadded up and in pretty rough shape.
1779. >You unfold it and lie it flat in your lap.
1780. >Lyra looks to the letter, then looks back to you.
  1781. >”Twilight’s letter from earlier?”
  1782. >You nod.
  1783. “Read it.”
1784. >She turns her head down to the letter.
1785. >You bring a hand to her back, petting her gently as she goes over the details contained on the letter.
1786. >After a few moments, you start to feel her back tense at random.
1787. >Soon after, her body is shaking.
1788. >You hear the weird breathing again.
1789. >The motors are gaining in volume.
1790. >Nothing dangerous sounding, but it’s very unsettling.
1791. >She uses a hoof to scoot the letter away from her, head turned downwards.
1792. >You embrace her once again as you both share this moment.
1793. >The sun sinks into the horizon while you comfort each other, leaving the room to be lit only by the remains of the slowly fading burn of the sunset.
  1794. >”So...what do I do now?”
1795. “Twilight mentioned a possible way to fix you in one go. That’s the main reason we’re here.”
  1796. >She nods.
  1797. >"Do you think it'll work?"
1798. >You have no idea what Twilight has in store, but-
  1799. "-It has to."
1800. >You release her just in time for the moment to be ruined by a knock on the door.
1801. >You pat Lyra on the back again.
  1802. "I'll be right back."
1803. >The room is filled with the sounds of Lyra’s motors as you make your way to the door.
1804. >Opening it, you are greeted by Twilight.
1805. >Her eyes are a little red, and there are some dark streaks trailing down her cheeks.
1806. >"H-hey! I was just checking to see how you like your room. "
1807. >She obviously doesn't want to draw attention to the fact that she's been crying.
1808. "It's great, Twilight, but, there's only one bed."
1809. >She suddenly backs up and starts to stammer something about Lyra and you being together.
1810. >You raise a hand up to stop her.
1811. "It's fine, really. Just makes it hard to avoid intimate conflict when we’re sleeping in the same bed...We’ll manage, though."
  1812. >"O-oh, yeah. I guess I didn’t think of that."
1813. >You hear some rustling and hoofsteps behind you.
  1814. >Lyra approaches.
  1815. >"How's Bon Bon?"
1816. >Before you could relay her question, Twilight is already answering.
1817. >"She, uh... She's doing well. The whole situation is a little intimidating. All of these changes and revelations happening at once.”
  1818. “How did-”
1819. >You glance to Twilight and see her horn glowing ever so slightly. She gives it a little pulse just incase you didn’t notice.
  1820. “Ah.”
1821. >Lyra is a little uneasy, shuffling her from hooves around.
1822. >”There’s...there’s something I’d like to know if you could do.”
  1823. >Twilight’s eyes widen slightly.
  1824. >Yours do as well.
1825. >You have no idea where she is going with this.
1826. >Twilight steps forward to answer.
1827. >”Lyra, if it’s within my power, I will do whatever you need to make you comfortable.”
  1828. >Lyra nods.
1829. >”Okay...Can you...can you somehow let me talk to Bon Bon?”
1830. >Twilight averts her gaze from Lyra in thought.
1831. >She’s biting her bottom lip again.
1832. >It just doesn’t have the effect on you as it did before.
1833. >The atmosphere of recent events have been smothering you.
1834. >”I think I might be able to bridge the two of you together somehow. I’ll have to be present, though. I can’t just establish a link like that between two ponies.”
1835. >Lyra seems to go over it in her head, and finally nods.
1836. >”I’d like to go see Bon Bon now, if you don’t mind.”
1837. >Twilight tenses up at this and scratches the back of her head.
  1838. >”I, uh...I don’t know if now’s a good time.”
  1839. >”Why isn’t now a good time?”
  1840. >Lyra instigates harshly.
  1841. >”Well, I mean, it’s just that-”
1842. >”-she’s upset that her best friend has roughly two weeks to live?”
1843. >Twilight’s ears fall flat, turning her head away from the two of you.
1844. >The area is silent, save for the light hustle and bustle of the castle staff down the hall.
1845. >Several tense seconds of quiet breathing fill the void along with Lyra’s microwaves, raised in pitch, but humming at a low volume.
1846. >Twilight is first to break the silence, her eyes still locked to the floor.
1847. >”Lyra...I’m so...so deeply sorry. Nopony should ever have to go through what you are experiencing right now.”
  1848. >Lyra doesn’t answer.
1849. >”Yes. You are right. I take it you read the letter?”
  1850. >A nod is Lyra’s response.
1851. >”Then you know why you’re here. To get fixed. I’ve...spoken to Celestia about the situation. It was stupid of me to try and handle something this big on my own. She’ll be here in the morning.”
  1852. >Wait.
1853. >Is bringing Celestia into this Twilight’s big plan?
1854. >Is that all she’s going to try to do?
1855. >The silence drags on again.
1856. >Twilight finally raises up her head to look at Lyra.
  1857. >Lyra hasn’t moved a muscle.
  1858. >She is like a statue.
1859. >Never have you seen a living creature stand so still.
1860. >”...I’d like to see Bon Bon.”
1861. >Twilight’s expression saddens, but she nods and starts off towards the stairs.
1862. >Lyra starts to follow her, but you quickly give her a small tug on her tail.
  1863. >She whips around quickly.
  1864. >”Hm?”
1865. “Do...Do you want me to be there with you? When you talk to Bon Bon?”
1866. >Lyra’s lens pierces through you, never moving, just...watching, taking your image in.
  1867. >”Yeah. Yeah, I do.”
1868. >Lyra turns back to Twilight, who is stopped and waiting by the top of the stairs.
1869. >The three of you make it down a single flight of stairs and take another hall filled with doors.
1870. >Twilight stops at a door in the middle.
1871. >The only thing distinguishing this door from the others is a small name-plate bearing “Drops” on it.
1872. >Twilight knocks on the door, but there’s no answer.
1873. >”Bon Bon? It’s me, Twilight. Lyra...Lyra has asked to speak with you.”
1874. >There’s a sudden flurry of noises and thudding, coming to a close once Bon Bon appears at the now-open door.
1875. >Bon Bon merely glances at Twilight, her eyes moving straight her to her target.
  1876. >Lyra.
1877. >Bon Bon is in a state worse than Twilight.
1878. >Her eyes are puffy and red, some tears still leaking out and rolling down the hardened, matted paths on her face.
  1879. >She looks....lost.
1880. >Seeing as how Lyra is her best and--from what you can tell--only real friend, there's no question that this has been difficult for her to bare.
1881. >Twilight steps towards Bon Bon until their faces are inches apart.
1882. >"Bon Bon, I'm going to perform a special kind of bridge between you and Lyra. As I told you, Lyra only seems to be able to communicate through magic. So I'm going to bestow that magic upon you so you can hear her. This is a little invasive as far as privacy goes, so I want to know if you are okay with this."
1883. >"Yes, in the name of Celestia, I'm okay with it! Please! Let me talk to her!"
1884. >Zero hesitation in her answer.
1885. >Twilight closes her eyes and bows her head until the tip of her horn touches Bon Bon's forehead, parting her two-tone mane slightly.
1886. >You see a small pulse of light from Twilight's horn, and nothing more as she draws back and moves aside.
1887. >Lyra takes this as her cue to move forward.
1888. >Bon Bon stares on, eyes locked with the horrendous element that claims to act as Lyra's head.
  1889. >Lyra speaks first.
  1890. >"H-hey."
1891. >Bon Bon crumbles right before you, her haunches slamming into the ground.
1892. >She tries to talk back through her sniffles and sobs.
1893. >And with a frown, she finally gets some words out.
  1894. >"I-I’m s-s-sorry!"
1895. >"Bon Bon...I want you to know, that I forgive you. I don't blame you for what happened this morning."
  1896. >"B-bu-"
1897. >"No. Listen. You can't beat yourself up over it. If I had been able to talk, I'd have explained everything that's been going on. Even if you still forced me away from Anon's home, I wouldn't have blamed you..."
1898. >Lyra moves her head to look up at you.
1899. >"Anonymous is a good person. He's been taking care of me since this whole thing started...and I love him for it. More than anything."
1900. >You survey the responses to her admission.
1901. >Bon Bon is definitely surprised, her eyes as wide as the moon, jaw hanging open.
1902. >Twilight has a warm smile on her face.
1903. >Evidence that the crazy days of Ms. Sparkle are starting to wind down.
1904. >You look back to Lyra as she looks down to the floor.
1905. >"I...I asked him to kill me when I first got to his place. I was in so much pain when I came to, I didn't see any other way out of it...But he didn't do it.”
  1906. >Lyra let out a sad, half-hearted laugh.
1907. >”I ended up taking care of him at first. He got sick and passed out at the sight of me. Just like everypony has. I picked him up and brought him back inside. I needed him to be awake if I wanted him t-to kill me.”
1908. >She looks back to you.
  1909. >”But...he recognized me...and took me in.”
1910. >You hear her chest start acting up.
1911. >She’s started shaking now, only visible as you see small hairs twitching around.
  1912. >”Anonymous…”
1913. >Her voice is so weak.
  1914. “...Yes?”
1915. >”...I want you to look after Bonny for me...i-if things don’t work out…”
  1916. “Lyra, don’t say that. You’ll b-”
1917. >Lyra rears back and slams her front hooves into the ground.
  1918. >”PROMISE ME!”
1919. >You stare at Lyra for a while.
1920. >You can sense the desperation coming off of her like a cool breeze.
1921. >Either your mind is playing tricks on you, or something else is happening, because you can barely make out a faint image of Lyra’s pained face, those golden eyes of hers taking you in.
  1922. >A blink, and it’s gone.
1923. >Turning to Bon Bon, your eyes meet.
  1924. >You nod.
  1925. “I promise.”
1926. >Lyra moves and leans against you, rubbing her neck up and down the side of your leg.
  1927. >”Thank you.”
1928. >You reach down and rub her back.
1929. >She stops shortly after she’s started and walks over to Bon Bon.
  1930. >”Can we come in?”
1931. >Bon Bon is a little startled from the mundane question.
1932. >”O-oh, ab-absolutely! Didn’t mean to make you all stand out in the hall like this.”
1933. >You start to follow behind Lyra when she stops and turns around, standing on her hind legs and placing her forehooves against your chest.
1934. >”I-...I’d like to spend some time with Bonny for now.”
1935. >You step to bring yourself closer to Lyra’s body, wrapping your arms around her back.
1936. “Alright. I’ll just head back to the room.”
  1937. >”Thank you...For everything.”
1938. “You’ve been saying that a lot lately.”
1939. >”I just can’t express how much I appreciate everything that you’re doing for me. So...I try to say thanks as much as possible to chisel away at it.”
1940. >You smile at her and bend down, pecking her against the side of her lens.
1941. >You rub her back a few times before you step back, and she lowers herself to the ground.
1942. >”I’ll see you back in the room then. I don’t know how late we’ll be up.”
1943. “That’s fine. Don’t worry about me. You just enjoy your time with Bon Bon.”
1944. >She slowly turns and heads into Bon Bon’s room.
1945. >Looking up into the room, you can see two blushing mares.
1946. >You smile and wink in their direction before turning and heading back for the stairs.
1947. >Just before the door closes you think you hear one of them cooing over your little display with Lyra.
1948. >You head up the stairs and are back in your room before you know it.
1949. >You flop onto the bed, no covers needed, your mind traveling in all directions at once.
  1950. >...
  1951. >This is it.
  1952. >The home stretch.
1953. >You pray to whatever deity is available that whatever Twilight has in store for Lyra tomorrow will actually work.
1954. >There's nothing you can do for her at this point.
1955. >All you can do is be by her side through it all.
1956. >In no time, you succumb to sleep, the day's events weighing on you quickly.
  1957. >...
  1958. END DAY 5
