- Teach Giga Drain early like in FRR2
- Get Safari Max Potion (and Full Restore)
- SKIP SAFFRON MART
- Skip Machoke guy
- Get Silph Co. 3F Hyper Potion on the way out
- Max Elixer in Silph Co. instead of box healing (healing HP shouldn't be necessary)
- Get Route 12 candy
- Candy from 48-->51 for Blaine
	> Gets L51 for Arcanine (guarantees Hyper Beam on non-31 IV)
	> Gets L53 for Giovanni (Return+Return strats)
	> Gets L53 for Pidgeot (defenses)
	> Gets L53 for Alakazam (speed sometimes)
	> Gets L54 for Charizard (guarantees +4 Return)
	> Gets L55 for Lapras (guarantees +3 GD)
	> Gets L55 for Jynx (guarantees Hyper Beam OHKO)
	> Gets L57 for Gyarados (defenses)
	> Gets L57 for Aerodactyl (defenses)
	> Gets L58 for Dragonair (+5 Bite range)
	> Gets L58 for Dragonair (+5 Bite range)
	> Gets L58 for Champion's lead (???)
	> One fewer level-up at the end
- If you Giga Drain Machoke, use Mimic strats on Giovanni if necessary to take less damage from Nidos

Grind for Sandshrew? Advantages over Magikarp:
- Free time save whenever you'd naturally get Sandshrew
- More money
- No Strength overwrite
- Can do early Safari + early candy
- One fewer Pokemon in party for 1-2 centers

Disadvantages:
- Need to get Great Ball
- Only 25% encounter (higher if Route 11, but Secret Power can kill)
- Must play on LG (probably doesn't matter)
