  1. The day of your graduation had come and gone. There'd been a part of course, Querin always threw one for his students- he cooked the food himself, even, and it was wonderful.... And of course, the students ate one another. You yourself probably spent the night curled up inside one of your fellows, given your stature.
  2.
  3. Your people had settled into Crowdenn with surprising ease, given the general wariness seemed to have for you. Once you'd proven yourself friendly, people had accepted you easily. Not surprising, considering the huge variety of people who lived here.... You've woken up, likely with a bit of a hangover, remembering the events of the night previous. Querin had shared some information with you... He was proud of the potential you showed, but concerned with your size, that you'd have difficulty making the most of what he'd taught you. He'd marked a special grove in the forest on your [World Map], and suggested, perhaps, you go see the fairy that lived there. He was of the opinion that, if you could convince them to let you eat them, they had magic that could be of great help for you. But it would be dangerous...
  4. So of course, he'd recommended you take "Lazy layabout, art teacher Matheos" with you, since he had no students this moon.(edited)
  5. Strixursus - 10/10/2017
  6. Moss perused her map once more, nubby-clawed digit tracing the wagon-road out from town that would likely be the best route to set out own, if not the mouse direct; beelining it over open country could be faster, but only if the terrain was accomodating, and she wasn't familiar enough with this area to know, at least not yet. She settled the studded leather jerkin over her robe, wore her pack and adjusted it, then grabbed the little placard she'd made the second night after she arrived, two little placards she wore both in front and back, with "Don't Worry, I'm Friendly!" written in a slightly cute lettering style she'd seen on a shop window. With that settled, she toddled her way out of her room at the academy for the last time, in the forseeable future, and headed for the front steps of the Academy to meet Matheos.
  7. Orolin - 10/10/2017
  8. Matheos is waiting at the gates of the academy... He'd agreed to come along quite happily, really. He'd decided he liked you your first day at the academy... Painting a portrait of you and doing his best to make you feel welcome. You're not sure how a painter will be much help in your adventure, but he teaches at the Crowdenn Arcane Academy so he surely has some sort of magical talent. He's sketching something on a pad of paper with a charcoal pencil, when you reach the agreed upon meeting place, and humming softly to himself.
  9. Strixursus - 10/10/2017
  10. Smiling a bit, Moss stretched a hand up to wave to Matheos, trying to catch his attention, before toddling into range to allow her telepathy to work. =Hello again, Professor Matheos! Professor Querin said that you were accompanying me to find the fae? I have a rough route planned out, was hoping I could get your input.= She really did respect Matheos, he was one of the first to really make her welcome when she applied to the Academy, and she knew for a fact her parents still had the painting her did framed and displayed in the main room of their shared livingspace. Once she'd reached his side, she had her map in hand, ready to show him when he was ready.
  11. Orolin - 10/10/2017
  12. The burmecian chuckles, glancing away from his sketchpad... "Oh... Yes, Querin was rather insistent about that. Something you really need, right...? Well I'm happy to help. I was thinking about a forest expedition anyway, for inspiration... And please, you've never been a student of mine, just Matheos is fine." he tucks his pencil into his pocket, and gently pats you on the head. "Where are we headed...?" he asks, peering at the map.
  13. "Ah.... I see. Hm. Well, I've got all of my gear, we can certainly get moving if you wish." he smiles good naturedly. "Do you happen to own a chocobo?"
  14. Strixursus - 10/10/2017
  15. Nodding in response, she showed Matheos the map, indicating the marker Querin had placed. =Professor Querin said there was a fae here, that if I could convince them to let me eat them, they have magic that would better let me utilize what he taught me. And given my main disadvantage is size..= She gave a soft, almost wheezy-sounding chuckle. After all, her kind couldn't really speak. =I was thinking we could take the wagon-road until we get close to the forest... I don't know the terrain well enough to know if the direct route would be more expeditious.= Looking up at the burmecian with his question, she shook her head a bit. =No, I do not... Don't have the gil to buy one, I don't think. I spent the lion's share of my gil getting set up to head out on this trip.=
  16. Orolin - 10/10/2017
  17. Matheos nods, "Then you can ride with me. Coros isn't anything special as far as chocobo breeds go, but I've had him for a long time." he beckons for you to follow, lazily, and then wanders off towards the stable he keeps his chocobo at.
  18. Strixursus - 10/10/2017
  19. Moss nods, and bustles after Matheos, keeping pace with him as best she can... After all, he's well over twice her height, and much longer in leg, to boot.
  20. Fortunately, Matheos currently has a very ponderous pace, so you don't have that much trouble keeping up. He pays the stablehand... A galka, so he towers over you massively, considering he towers over Matheos, and nods dreamily, "Thank you for taking care of him... There's a good bird.... We're going out on an adventure, Coros, isn't that nice? This is my little friend Moss, do you mind carrying her?"
  21.
  22. The chocobo nuzzles at the burmecian as he pets over her, and then she peers down at you for a few moments, before kweh-ing softly, and leaning down to gently beaknuzzle at you too!
  23. (Don't know why I wrote him at first, it's a female bird x3)
  24. Strixursus - 10/10/2017
  25. There's a moment of hesitation first; Moss is more than aware that occasionally folks' pets and mounts don't always take kindly to her, but with that little nuzzle, she smiled and reached up to stroke over that head, roughly the size of her whole torso, and preen through her feathers with her claws. =Nice to meet you, Coros... You are a lovely bird, aren't you? Such pretty yellow feathers~.=
  26. Orolin - 10/10/2017
  27. The chocobo warks! And Matheos smiles... Leading her out of the stable, and offering you a hand up onto her back. "It shouldn't be more than a day's travel to get there, and a day coming back, I think... Though the forests are certainly dangerous, as of late." he says, "But let's try to enjoy ourselves, even if we run into trouble." uwu
  28. Strixursus - 10/10/2017
  29. Moss follows alongside, and accepts Matheos' lift up onto his chocobo's back, settling herseld in place and stroking over the bird's neck, smiling a bit. Out of reflexive want of security, once the Burmecian was settled behind her, she slipped her tail about his waist, snugging it just enough to help her keep her balance; given she was somewhat inexperienced with riding anything but the stolid pair of gelding drafters the traders' wagon was drawn by. =We will just have to be on our guard, and hope that the creatures we meet are willing to, listen to reason I suppose.=
  30. October 11, 2017
  31. Orolin - 10/11/2017
  32. Matheos nods slowly, "Listen to reason? What a novel idea." he chuckles softly... "I am sure if you ask nicely, they will be friendly, I suppose you simply need to know how to ask, mm?" he yawns softly, and pats the tonberry on the head, before guiding the chocobo out of town! Coros is a very relaxed chocobo, much like her owner, and doesn't move at the ground eating pace the riding birds usually do... But it's a nice ride, and still faster than walking.
  33. (Go ahead and roll me a d100 for random encounters!)
  34. Strixursus - 10/11/2017
  35. [66]
  36. Orolin - 10/11/2017
  37. ... Fortunately, the forest seems to be mostly peaceful, today. Though there's less animals than there used to be... The mist has done odd things to the wildlife, so perhaps that's something to be thankful for. As you ride, the burmecian whistles a soft little tune, and it's all so... Cozy. It's easy to just enjoy the moment, and the ride seems to be over in no time at all.
  38.
  39. "... Well, this is the place, or at least as close as I can get with the map, Moss."
  40. Strixursus - 10/11/2017
  41. [Did Quiren give her anything more to go on, like a name or something she could offer the fae?]
  42. Orolin - 10/11/2017
  43. (No name, he only knew rumors. Apparently fairly friendly. But he warned they might want to test you somehow if they're going to share their magic with you.)
  44. Strixursus - 10/11/2017
  45. [Fair enough... Can I roll Knowledge: Nature for signs of fae? Like, fairy ring mushrooms and the like, something that might give her something to go on]
  46. Orolin - 10/11/2017
  47. (Go ahead!)
  48. Strixursus - 10/11/2017
  49. [d20 plus bonus, right?]
  50. Orolin - 10/11/2017
  51. (Yes.)
  52. (Unrelated to this, you know, I've considered playing my Tenno as an rp character before)
  53. Strixursus - 10/11/2017
  54. Moss nods a bit and looses her tail from Matheos's waist, carefully sliding down to land softly at the ground, stepping away from the Burmecian and his mount, softly-luminous gold eyes scanning the surroundings for signs of her quarry... [7+7 for 14]
  55. Orolin - 10/11/2017
  56. Well.... There's nothing overtly indicating "hey, a fairy lives here"... But it doesn't take a trained eye to see that the plant life is very healthy here, much more than other places... And the thin mist present in the forest is absent from this grove.
  57. Strixursus - 10/11/2017
  58. [Can I retroactively subtract a few gil to have like, a little treat to offer? Like, however many gil a little teacake would be]
  59. [Since a good way to keep on a fae's good side isofferings; anyone who lives in rural areas would probably know that, given folk knowledge]
  60. Orolin - 10/11/2017
  61. (Sure, if you like. Fairies aren't like the fae in folklore though, they're just a type of monster. x3 Still. A treat of some kind wouldn't hurt)
  62. Strixursus - 10/11/2017
  63. [Well, she probably knows this now, but I'd assume rural folk still try and keep on their good sides if they're not outright malicious]
  64. Strixursus - 10/11/2017
  65. [Say, five gil for a package for Russian-style teacakes]
  66. http://cookdiary.net/wp-content/uploads/images/Russian-Tea-Cakes_2502.jpg
  67.
  68. Orolin - 10/11/2017
  69. (Sure x3)
  70. Strixursus - 10/11/2017
  71. Humming thoughtfully, the tonkin rubbed her chin a bit, thinking.... Then took off her pack and started digging around for a bit, before pulling out a little oilpaper package, looking around for a nice, brought leaf and plucking it off, setting it on a nice flat rock, then unwrapping her parcel, placing down a coupld of the large-marble-sized cakes and stepping back, straightening up a bit and 'speaking up', hoping the fairy was close enough to 'hear' her. =I'm looking to make a deal with you, fae... A favor for a favor, perhaps. I have a gift to show I come with good intentions.=
  72. [Figuring for monsterish folk, Moss is probably more inclined to speak with them on level than most because well. She kinda is one herself]
  73. Orolin - 10/11/2017
  74. "Oh I'm already right here, kin of the mist. What is it that you've come to my grove for, hmm~?" speaks a voice from above... Should you look up, you could see a faintly glowing little fairy sitting up on a tree branch, laying forward on her belly with her wings fluttering idly...(edited)
  75. Strixursus - 10/11/2017
  76. Looking upwards, Moss gave a little flick and curl of her tailflukes, trying not to show her nerves. =Well, I'll be perfectly frank with you. I'm a Primal Mage, and at a slight disadvantage, for reasons I think you can guess. the one who taught me said you may have magic that would, let me live up to my full potential. I'm not asking you to just give me a free lunch, here, though, and am offering to do something for you in return.=
  77. [Not a class skill but, gonna roll Diplomacy here]
  78. Orolin - 10/11/2017
  79. (Go ahead)
  80. Strixursus - 10/11/2017
  81. [Since Handle Monster is more for animalistic sorts]
  82. Orolin - 10/11/2017
  83. (Mhmm)
  84. Strixursus - 10/11/2017
  85. [So close. 18+2 for 20]
  86. Orolin - 10/11/2017
  87. The fairy hmmms.... Fluttering up into the air, and slowly descending, before, right before your eyes, growing to near the size of a hume! Crossing her arms, and tilting her head, "I don't particularly need a favor." she says, rubbing her chin, "But I don't want to let just anyone eat me. I'd prefer to test you and see how strong you are... But I guess if you didn't want to fight, you seem nice enough. I could be convinced to let you..." she glances down, and picks up one of the marble sized cakes, nibbling on it thoughtfully.
  88. Strixursus - 10/11/2017
  89. Lookingm quite a bit more up than she was expect, the tonkin did her best to keep her composure, schooling herself not to let her tail jitter around like it wanted to. =Well, I figured trying to talk to you first. We're monsters, but we're still people after all.= Noticing the glance down at the cakes, she lifts the partly-unwrapped parcel in her hand up a bit. =I can give you the rest of these, if you liked. Perhaps bring you more?=
  90. Orolin - 10/11/2017
  91. The fairy giggles, "You're an odd one. Mmm.... Well, fine, if you want to just try and buy my assistance, you've chosen a good way to go about it, these are tasty.... Fine, fine, you can eat me for my magic, but you'd better be gentle about it." she nods, before resuming her previous size, holding the cake that's now the size of her head and nibbling it.
  92. I know the one you're thinking of immediately. >>
  93. Strixursus - 10/11/2017
  94. [>//////>]
  95. Smiling, Moss set the parcel of teacakes down beside that the'd set on the rock, smiling a little as she help her hand out, simply letting the fairy choose to land. =I wouldn't think of being anything but, ma'am. And my name is Moss, just to introduce myself.= Smiling a bit, if the fairy chose to rest in her hand, she just sat down, glancing over at Matheos and nodding a bit, before loooking back to the fairy. =And I'm more than happy to let you finish your current treat, before we do things as well.=
  96. Strixursus - 10/11/2017
  97. [Feel like doing anything?]
  98. Orolin - 10/11/2017
  99. is, at the moment, waiting for Rina to get done with classes 'cause he's agreed to play Stellaris with her
  100. Strixursus - 10/11/2017
  101. nods. Okee then
  102. Orolin - 10/11/2017
  103. Seems we're going to be doing gamethings instead so I might be able to run some more for Moss if ya like
  104. Strixursus - 10/11/2017
  105. would like this!
  106. Orolin - 10/11/2017
  107. The burmecian appears to be... Sketching the fairy. Well that's not very surprising. And he smiles encouragingly at you when you look over at him!
  108.
  109. The fairy nods, "Yesh, 'm finishn' thish 'fore you get t'eat me." she says, with her mouth full... Swallowing a moment later, "I'm Dandelion, I'm happy to say that it's nice to meet you, Moss~"
  110. Strixursus - 10/11/2017
  111. [I can assume painless digestion by default, right? Or should I shuffle off one of my current vorefeats to do this?]
  112. Orolin - 10/11/2017
  113. (Oh yes, even with your enemies you can assume pleasant digestion is a given)
  114. (Assuming your own)
  115. Strixursus - 10/11/2017
  116. [Okee uwu]
  117. Orolin - 10/11/2017
  118. (Including your own, I meant)
  119. Strixursus - 10/11/2017
  120. [Yeah I got it]
  121. October 12, 2017
  122. Strixursus - 10/12/2017
  123. Smiling a bit, the tonkin just patiently waited her turn, sitting there with her hand cupped, providing Dandelion with, what she hoped was comfortable seating. =It is a pleasure to meet you, and gain this favor from you, Miss Dandelion. I promise I will be as gentle as possible.=
  124. Strixursus - 10/12/2017
  125. [Say, how small does Mini make her target? Like, reduction by one size level? Two levels? Or reduction to a set size?]
  126. Orolin - 10/12/2017
  127. (Mini doesn't quite play by the normal size rules, in this case, I will say a mini'd target is automatically micro to the caster)
  128. Strixursus - 10/12/2017
  129. [So in her case, Diminuitive x3]
  130. Orolin - 10/12/2017
  131. Mini: This status effect causes the creature to shrink to 10% of its total size. A miniaturize creature’s damage only does 10% of its total damage it can dish out.
  132. The fae finishes up her tea cake, licks a tiny crumb off her cheek, and then alights, daintily, upon your nose, rather than your hand, holding her arms out to the side and smiling. "Alright then, kin of the mists, if this is anything but pleasant, you'll have a lot to answer for~ I'm ready!"
  133. Orolin - 10/12/2017
  134. Boop!
  135. Strixursus - 10/12/2017
  136. Smiling a little bit, the tonkin gently lifts the fairy up off her nose opening her jaws, revealing those sharp fangs her class granted her, but she took the utmost care in slipping Dandelion into her mouth, pointed yet broad tongue cupping in order to guard her from them. Pausing to let the fae settle herself, Moss slowly closed her maw, starting to suckle and lap softly over her cooperative treat, taking care to be gentle with her wings.
  137. Orolin - 10/12/2017
  138. Dandelion lays out on her front, on your tongue... Humming softly to herself. Fortunately, her wings seem to not be nearly as delicate as they look. She tastes.... Rather like candy, actually. Very sweet, slight floral hints. Especially to the refined palate of a primal mage.
  139. Strixursus - 10/12/2017
  140. Closing her eyes, the tonkin lets out a somewhat whispery hum; tonberries can't really make much by vocalizations, and her nimble tongue curls and strokes over those wings, painting Dandelion with clinging, yet quite slippery drool... Moss tips her head back slightly, starting the fairy sliding back towards her throat, but she doesn't swallow immediately, perhaps giving her a chance to change her mind... Though, should not protest come, the tonberry swallows softly, once pulls Dandelion in up to her hips, the second sends her slipping down, able to feel a soft press from without as she slides down that gullet, soon enough coming to rest in the churning belly below... Which, as promised, wasn't harsh at all, the kneading walls almost relaxing as it set about treating her like the food she was to become, the pooling fluids tingling in a pleasant buzzing sensation as they started to work, and nothing more.
  141. Orolin - 10/12/2017
  142. The fairy lets out a soft little sigh as she slides down your throat... Not protesting, nor struggling, she agreed to this freely, after all! She settles into your belly... And as you start to digest her, you find a very pleasant tingly warmth spreading through you from all the magic in her. She's quite a nice treat.
  143. Strixursus - 10/12/2017
  144. [Slipping off the comp now, will respond shortly; didn't aswer over voice, so saying it here]
  145. Strixursus - 10/12/2017
  146. Giving a little shiver as she feels that magic start to perfuse her form, a novel sensation for the nascent Primal Mage, Moss licks her lips and sighs happily, rubbing over her actively-gurgling belly. =I'm grateful for this favor, Miss Dandelion... Once we're, through, I'll bring you back straight away... Then, I have something I'd like to offer.= She glances over at Matheos, perhaps a bit sheepish in how much she's enjoying this...
  147. Orolin - 10/12/2017
  148. Dandelion murmurs a reply, but she's already a little out of it... In such a small form, she digests very easily.
  149.
  150. Moss has learned a new spell. Pixie Dust. Very simple, really... Close range (25 feet plus 5 feet per caster level), inflicts Mini on a failed reflex save
  151. Strixursus - 10/12/2017
  152. Moss doesn't catch the reply, but she just gives a soft, if slightly whispery sing-song hum as her prey is churned away.... And as soon as she is able, uses her ability to Reform Prey to bring Dandelion back; sitting or laying on the soft fabric of the robes over the tonkin's lap. Waiting for the fairy's acknowledgement, Moss gave her a somewhat shy smile. =I, do not think I would mind offering an, additional bit of recompense for this... Myself, as prey. If you'll forgive my reticence in not offering before, I wanted to be sure I wasn't going to be putting myself or my companion at risk before offering myself up.=
  153. Orolin - 10/12/2017
  154. The fairy stirs a little after reforming, yawning, stretching, and fluttering her wings... "Mmmn. Well, Moss, I certainly wouldn't mind eating you... But I wouldn't expect digestion, I like to hold onto people for a while, hmhmhm~"
  155.
  156. Matheos smiles, "I sketched something for you, ma'm." he says, politely... Showing a (unsurprisingly) quite good drawing of the fairy, kneeling in the grass. She takes the paper from him, as she grows in size once more, and looks over it with a smile. "Hm. Thank you." she says, sweetly, spiriting it away in one of the trees, before turning her attention to you!
  157.
  158. "With that in mind, little tonkin.... Still sure about your offer~? I'll be really nice and let you take it back if you don't want to spend the rest of the day and night hidden away."
  159. Strixursus - 10/12/2017
  160. Moss nods slightly at the fairy's clarification, glancing over at Matheos, and giving a little mental throatclear. =Would you be opposed to extending our foray, Matheos?= She paused a moment, giving that whispery hum again. =If you've engagements in town, I won't keep you; I know the route we took here, and while it's a few days hike on foot, I can make it.=
  161. Orolin - 10/12/2017
  162. Matheos shakes his head, "Oh, no, not at all." he says, happily, "I'd love to take the time to paint this grove... By all means, have fun!"
  163.
  164. The fairy holds a hand up to her mouth, and giggles... "In that case, little Moss." she brings back her hand, and then scatters a cloud of faintly sparkling dust over you! Either make a DC 15 will save, or just accept it and shrink.
  165. Strixursus - 10/12/2017
  166. (Questions! A) does this shrink her gear too, and b) does reforming bring her gear back if she gets gurgled)
  167. Orolin - 10/12/2017
  168. (Yes to both. Mini doesn't remove your gear)
  169. (And I wouldn't ever run a vore game where digestion destroyed your gear and took it away from you)
  170. Strixursus - 10/12/2017
  171. (Just wanted to know for sure... Doesn't change my action, though. Rolling to resist, one moment)
  172. Orolin - 10/12/2017
  173. (You can voluntarily fail x3)
  174. Strixursus - 10/12/2017
  175. (I know but Moss wanted to take stuff off first. She didn't get a chance to ask to =V)
  176. (Welp. Dice seems to agree with my RP decision. Nat 20 plus bonus of 3 >>;)
  177. Starting a bit at the sudden spell, Moss reflexively steels herself against it, resisting the change the magic tried to force on her. As the dust settled, she bowed her head apologetically to Dandelion, then worked to loosen, then doff her studded armor, setting it neatly beside her pack, before then her robe as well, unabashed by her nudity, not that there was anything really to show; a stocky, somewhat reptilian form with plantigrade feet and a completely smooth chest and belly, streamlined in an almost piscine manner from her teardrop head to fluked tailtip, her skin a smooth, mossy green, paling to the greygreen of lichen-covered stone on her underbelly from throat to under the base third of her tail, which was slightly longer that she was tall. =I apologise for resisting your magic, but when I'll be spending a while within someone, I'd prefer not to be fully armored... I am ready now, Miss Dandelion, to act for your pleasure.=
  178. Orolin - 10/12/2017
  179. The fairy simply quirks her brow when the magic is resisted... And then she crosses her arms, not looking displeased, more bemused, until you explain yourself. "Ah. I see. Well then. I can only do this so often, you know." she chuckles, and then sprinkles another wave of the dust over you!
  180. Strixursus - 10/12/2017
  181. This time Moss just closes her eyes, letting the magic wash over and through her without resistance, giving a little quiver at the slightly dizzying sensation of such a rapid change in scale. Opening those golden eyes again, she looked up at the far, who now towered over her, the Tonkin's muzzle darkening slightly at the prospect before her... But she was without fear or hesitance as she stood there in the leaf litter, just barely three inches tall... =My apologies for that inconvenience... I do hope that I am pleasing for you.=
  182. Orolin - 10/12/2017
  183. The fairy bends down, and gently scoops you up between her hands. Smiling down at you... Matheos seems suddenly inspired by this. You might be getting an interesting picture later on. She smiles down at you warmly, as she leans in to gently kiss the top of your head! "Mmm... I think you will be." she murmurs, her wings fluttering lazily behind her, before she parts her lips. "Ahhh....~" she exhales over you, before tipping you into her mouth. Her breath is fairly similar to her flavor... Sweet, and floral.
  184. Strixursus - 10/12/2017
  185. The Ruddy tonge on her muzzle spread to her cheeks with the kiss, and her eyes wander over that pearly-framed maw that opened before her, and leaned in, hands sliding over that soft tongue as she slips in unresisting... Simply laying forward on Dandelion's tongue, hands idly wandering over the slick, velvety surface she lay upon, unresisting to her predator as her piscine tailflukes gently tickled at her lips, that three-inch tail long enough that, unless it was tucked inwards, the tip dangled out between the fae's lips, and would until Moss's softly-pointed snout met her throat
  186. Orolin - 10/12/2017
  187. Dandelion mmms softly... And tilts her head back just a little, slurping up your tail slowly... And then gulps, quite gently. She's capable of same-sized predation, you? In your mini'd state, you go down without any effort at all. A nice little lump in her throat that vanishes into her body as it travels past her chest. She lets out a soft sigh, then. Resting both hands on her middly as you slide out into her belly.. Warm, extremely soft and comfortable, and relaxing. "Mmm.... I've never eaten a tonberry or their kin before... What a delightful little treat you are~"
  188. Strixursus - 10/12/2017
  189. (Forgot to mention flavor, but I kinda think bother earthy and savory, as well as herbal and fresh. Like watercress and forest mushrooms)
  190. While her whispery murmurs as she sprawls out in that belly might not be heard, the tonkin moving around a bit on all fours to explore her surroundings, the shy mental voice bore no muffling by belly walls. =It's, delightful, Miss Dandelion... So warm, and soft...= Soon enough she settles to her belly again, rolling over onto her back, and simply letting those churning walls arrange her as they saw fit.(edited)
  191. (If this isn't her first time being eaten, it's probably still in the first half-dozen. At most she's only experienced samesize a couple times before this... Very new to things)
  192. The next few hours are spent in absolute comfort. Moss may have been eaten like this before, the extremely gentle, kind predators... But she's never been this small while it's happening! She has room to move, if she wants to, to lay out, in the embrace of the fairy's stomach, the softly churning walls kneading over her in a manner oh so gentle... She'll be there all evening, and all night. She most certainly drifts off to sleep eventually- it'd be impossible not to. uwu
  193. Moss gives another soft little quiver at this, closing her eyes and just sprawling out over the soft flesh, letting the ripples rock her softly, the churning walls embrace her... No, it's not that long at all before she's fallen asleep, utterly content and comfortable within the fae's belly... Aside from soft, whispery murmurs in her sleep, and vague little shifts now and again, she's not likely to actually stir again until the morning~
  194. Strixursus - 10/13/2017
  195. [Skip to next day, or..?]
  196. Orolin - 10/13/2017
  197. (Mmm, yes!)
  198. Moss awakens, slowly, in the same place she drifted off to sleep... Awoken by the gentle introduction of some cool water to the otherwise quite warm environment. Just a small bit... Perhaps intended to wake you up, even. "Mm... Moss, little kin of the mists, do wake up now... I think I've held you for long enough~"
  199. Strixursus - 10/13/2017
  200. The tonkin gives a little breathy squeak at the cool splash over her form shivering a bit and blinking awake, and it takes a moment for her to register what was said... Then giggled softly, piping up, though her mental voice reflected her slightly groggy state. =Well, it was certainly a very restful time... I'm assuming Matheos, my companion, is close by as well? I am ready to come out, when you are ready.=
  201. Strixursus - 10/13/2017
  202. (I'm good to continue)
  203. (If you want to)
  204. Orolin - 10/13/2017
  205. The fairy holds one hand up to her mouth, and then coughs for a moment... The flesh around you tightens, gently squeezes, and pushes you up rapidly. Depositing you, surprisingly dry, into her hand.
  206.
  207. Matheos is currently sleeping up in the branches of the tree behind the fairy. "And now... Poof." she gently sets you down, and breaks the effect of the Pixie Dust on you.
  208. Strixursus - 10/13/2017
  209. Shaking her head a bit to dash away the brief vertigo of a rapid shift in scale, the tonkin smiled up at Dandelion, giving a respectful bow before looking for her clothing and getting dressed once more. =That was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever been given for a night... Thank you, Miss Dandelion, your assistance is very much appreciated.= Once she'd donned her gear again, she looked up with a smile. =If you ever need assistance, you can contact me, and I'll do what's in my power to assist you. After all, you've given me magic to help conquer the greatest hurdle in my chosen path, and I'm grateful for it=
  210. Orolin - 10/13/2017
  211. The fairy giggles softly. "Mmm. Just come back to curl up my belly now and then, perhaps. Perhaps not in a normal way, but I certainly got a meal from all this. Thanks~ And I hope the magic serves you well."
  212. Strixursus - 10/13/2017
  213. Nodding, Moss turned her attention to Matheos, speaking in a gently-rousing tone. =Matheos... Tim to wake up, sir, and we should head back to town.=
  214. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  215. The artist stretches out, and yawns... "Mmmn... Oh, are we leaving already? I suppose we should..." he looks around, and then says slyly, "I painted something for you. I think you'll like it... I'll show you when we're back in town." he whistles for his chocobo! And she comes trotting up to him obediently.
  216. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  217. Moss nodded a bit, before turning back to the fairy and giving her a respectful bow. =If there is aid I can render to you, send word to Professor Quiren at the Academy... He'll be able to get word to me, I'm sure. I do not yet have a permanent residence, having left my family's dwelling, but I will contact you should I end up with an easier way to be reached. You have my gratitude, Miss Dandelion.= With her leave taken, the tonkin turned and, with Matheos' aid, climbed astride the chocobo, petting her neckplumes softly, as she waited for her companion to set them on course
  218. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  219. Matheos starts Coros running, and guides her with casual ease, humming to himself... Resting one arm around the tonkin to support her as he rides. It's very comfortable, as before! The morning forest is very pleasant... (Roll 1d100 for me!)
  220. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  221. (90)
  222. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  223. (ohoho)
  224. (Is there a monster you particularly like from the final fantasy series)
  225. (Of any strength, really. There's a friendly behemoth rolling around if you want. 90+ is a friendly monster encounter, 10- is a boss encounter, for reference. -w-)
  226. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  227. (Well, coeurls are loved, as are behemoths, and... There's a reptilian one I can't remember the name of, then the cute powderpuff bunnies from FFTA2. Dreamhares I think was the base variation?)
  228. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  229. (Well since the reptilian one isn't much to go on, I have rolled a d3. Ahem. .... Really, there's a manner in which I've introduced this behemoth before, I shall have to do so again.)
  230. The ride is going quite nicely, until suddenly... Coros seems very agitated. You come up upon a clearing, and in the meadow you can see.... A behemoth. A bit of an odd one, actually- covered in cream colored fur, and much less... Muscled, than most of his kin, pawing at something that isn't immediately obvious, at first glance. (Feel free to make a perception check)
  231. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  232. (15 + 3 for 18)
  233. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  234. It's batting at something, small, and green... Not actually touching it, if anything, the behemoth actually looks like he's trying to be... Playful? Wait a second, that little green thing is awfully... Active. Wait. That jumping... Oh. Oh no. How did one of those get here
  235. [Thousand Needles]
  236. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  237. (OHGOD)
  238. (I FUCKING KNEW IT)
  239. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  240. .... The behemoth freezes for a moment, as the little monster darts away
  241. Then he whimpers, recoiling backwards, as he seems to realize his paw is now full of tiny, sharp needles, pulling back and holding his paw up, and saying, in perfect common, "OWOWOWOWOW!!! Owwww...."
  242. Matheos blinks a couple times, slowly... "Well that's not a normal monster... Would you like to stop, Moss?" he murmurs quietly.
  243. .... Notably, the behemoth doesn't seem to be what was making Coros agitated.
  244. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  245. Frowning a bit, puzzled at the tableau, the tonkin's eyes widen as she recognizes the monster the behemoth was toying with just before it launched it's attack... And those gold eyes further boggled as the behemoth spoke. =Given the behemoth did not seem to bear hostile intent, and now is in need of first aid... I think so, yes.=
  246. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  247. Coros seems to have calmed down, so Matheos hops down off her back, offering you a hand down.
  248.
  249. ... The behemoth just holds his paw up, sniffling, and... Starting to cry quietly, "... I-I just wanted to play...! M-Mean little thing..."
  250. https://images-ext-2.discordapp.net/external/UmIEUyh8ZGpUy14LTEZ2eoNzZrK-gOqnwj2g0d74m08/https/pre07.deviantart.net/39a2/th/pre/f/2014/337/e/b/geomancer_and_behemoth_by_ohgoshdarnthesecond-d88bo71.png the inspiration
  251.
  252. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  253. (hee)
  254. Moss nods slightly at Matheos, then turns and approaches the behemoth cautiously, stopping a (presumably) safe distance away. =Are you in need of aid? Cactuar can be nasty creatures when threatened.=
  255. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  256. The behemoth blinks, and looks around, when he hears the mental voice... Then down at you. He sniffles, and wipes at his eyes with his other paw, "... It huuuurts." he says, with a pitiful little whimper. Some king of monsters this guy is!
  257. .... Matheos gets that look on his face, and then whips out his sketchpad.
  258. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  259. (can you use heal untrained?)
  260. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  261. (You can)
  262. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  263. Moss steels herself, nervous but somewhat emboldened by the behemoth's intelligence and docile, almost cublike behavior. =Bring your paw down to me, and hold still, and I'll try and get all the needles out, alright?=
  264. (She uses language befitting a noblewoman for a fae, and talks t a behemoth with a schoolmarm's gentle authority. She's got an odd view of things to be sure xD)(edited)
  265. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  266. The behemoth whimpers softly again... And then holds his paw down, as steady as he can, for the tonkin, sniffling again. It does look awfully painful, cactuar needles are no joke.
  267. (The Friendly Behemoth is an enormous ball of fluff)
  268. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  269. Moss pets the unscathed side of his paw, easily big enough to envelope her, and after pulling a kerchief to collect them, sets to work picking the needles out, one at a time. (16+3 for 19)
  270. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  271. Moss is able to, carefully, pull out every needle from the behemoth's paw... Despite how upset the behemoth is, he holds his paw very still. Eyes closed, whimpering softly, but very cooperative. He opens his eyes when you're done, sniffling again, and wiggles his toes......
  272. (What's your CMD?)
  273. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  274. (14)
  275. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  276. Moss suddenly finds herself pinned down as the behemoth pounces on her... The giant monster slurping over her whole body a few times, wagging his tail excitedly! "Thank you thank you thank you thank you!" he says, "It feels so much better now! It still hurts but not nearly as bad!"
  277. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  278. (Also when done she folded the kerchief around the needles. Who knows, someone might wanna buy them for something and she could use the gil)
  279. (Hell they could be used as sewing needles, or for suturing)
  280. (Or have some alchemical purpose)
  281. The tonkin lets out a sharp wheezy noise that would likely have been a yelp if her kind had the pharynx for it. =Y-you're welcome. You didn't seem hostile, so I saw no reason not to help.=
  282. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  283. (Sure, you can add 200 gil to your sheet from monster parts!)
  284. The behemoth smiles brightly, giving a last sniffle, and then lets you up! Crouched down, still wagging his tail! "I-I should do something for you! I owe you! D-Do you want treasure? I could come up with something! Or... Or a ride back to town! Or we could be friends! Or all three!"
  285. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  286. Moss seems a bit bewildered at the flood of gratitude from the behemoth, giving him a, slightly sheepish and unsure smile. =Well, while the treasure would be appreciated, as I am just starting out as an adventurer, it it by no means necessary... And I do have a ride to town, with my companion on his chocobo... But I certainly would not say no to friendship. Given my race, people tend to be a bit wary around me, but I do my best to alleviate worry... Even still, I, have not had much luck in making friends at the Academy, though my parents' neighborhood were welcoming after a brief spate of nerves=
  287. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  288. The behemoth nods enthusiastically! "Okay! I'll take you to some treasure, okay? Can I carry you there, is that alright?" He gently nuzzles at you... He seems just... Overjoyed not only that you helped him, but that you're talking to him, too.
  289. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  290. The tonkin nods a little, glancing back at Matheos, a bit of a wry smirk as she saw him sketching again. =I am alright with you carrying me, but perhaps make sure that my companion can follow on his chocobo?=
  291. =He is my ride back to town, after all.=
  292. (inb4 he takes this as 'eat the entire party')
  293. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  294. (You know me well)
  295. The behemoth nods, "Hey mister, d-do you want some treasure too?" he asks, uncertainly. "Ahh... Being able to see you with my friend is more than enough treasure for me, my large furry friend." the burmecian says, smiling. "If it isn't far, then I shall wait here, Coros and I are in no hurry...." the behemoth nods... Smiles down at you, and... Well, what's your VMD?
  296. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  297. (How did I calc that again? Forgot to note it)
  298. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  299. (Level plus vore stat plus any related feat bonuses plus ten, modified by your size mod)
  300. (... Oh you took unskilled so that is not going to be high. x3)
  301. (Considering the behemoth rolled a 25 on his swallow I think you are nommed)
  302. .... Casually, with great ease, opens his jaws wide, and clamps them down around you, sealing you in complete darkness immediately. He doesn't swallow! But you are as good as eaten, like this, as he happily runs off from the clearing, towards his den.
  303. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  304. (Okay I'm still not sure what my VMD is. Because I don't know some of the values necessary to solve for X)
  305. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  306. (Your VMD is...)
  307. (10)
  308. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  309. (I don't have any of the feats, am Small (=???), level 1, plus ten)
  310. (Kay)
  311. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  312. (Small is a -1 for things like grappling)
  313. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  314. (Okay that is what I didn't know. I'm still a bab with DnD/PF stuff remember =V)
  315. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  316. (+1 to AC and attack rolls, though)
  317. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  318. (Yeah that's on my sheet. But I didn't know what numeric value from my size cat affected VMD)
  319. Moss gives another one of those whispert pseudo-yelps, squirming a bit in those jaws, mostly just out of surprise. Hffing softly, once she realized he was just carrying her, she tried to squirm around to at least be facing forwards, even if he resisted the suggestive nudges that hinted she might like to see where she was being taken
  320. (If you want me to roll Handle Monster for that I can)
  321. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  322. (You don't need to. He's quite sapient and 'civilized' too so diplomacy would be better if it was required x3)
  323. The behemoth opens his mouth just a little, parting his teeth so you can look out as he pads along! Quite the view, that... Nothing really drives home where you are as much as looking out at a world framed by teeth.
  324.
  325. But he's very gentle and receptive to your body language- if you struggled (or, perhaps, moved backwards) he would let you out or eat you. Otherwise... He just carries you, in his jaws, to a big cave dug into a hillside, depositing you on the ground at the mouth of it and wagging his tail with a big smile down at you, before bounding deeper in to retrieve something.
  326. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  327. She did neither, but settled into the soft hollow of his tongue, a soft Ruddy tone darkening her muzzle ever so slightly. Riding along, when he finally arrived and dipped his head, she extended her hands to catch herself, then stood up, shivering slightly at the coolness of being damp. Glancing around, she waited patiently for him to return... Slightly nervous given her position, Moss tries to put on a brave face as she waited...
  328. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  329. (Give me three d100 rolls)
  330. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  331. (73, 95, 66)
  332. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  333. The behemoth returns... And lays three items out in front of you! "Here...!" he says, almost... Meekly? "Pick one! Friends help friends, right? You helped me, and you said you were new, so maybe these can help you...!"
  334.
  335. There's a simple looking cloak...
  336. A very sturdy oak staff, that would look unremarkable, were it not for the brilliant red gem atop the end
  337. And a small chest made for potion bottles, no clear indication what's inside.
  338. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  339. Moss hmms softly, looking over the three choices carefully... (Rolling Appraise on the cloak, staff, and chest, respectively)
  340. (11+7 for 18, 16+7 for 23, 14+7 for 21)
  341. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  342. Well, from a mundane value standpoint, the staff seems to be by far the most valuable of the lot. To actually analyze the magical value requires detect magic and spellcraft rolls.
  343. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  344. (Do I have access to those? I'm not sure <~>)
  345. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  346. (You have detect magic and spellcraft on your sheet)
  347. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  348. (I am dumb then. Should I roll individually again?)
  349. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  350. (Yes, whichever you'd like to identify, the potion box will need six rolls)
  351. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  352. (Will do this in three posts, same order as before)
  353. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  354. (Aaand I forgot to ask before, how much MP do I have and where should I note it? Also MP costs to my spells, like Detect Magic? )
  355. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  356. (Detect magic is a cantrip, 0th level spells don't cost anything)
  357. (base mp is listed on the blue mage page, ability scores page shows how much bonus mp you gain from your casting statistic)
  358. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  359. (Okee. And it's d20+INT for my roll for Detect?)
  360. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  361. (You don't roll anything for detect magic you just focus)
  362. (Spellcraft is an int based skill)
  363. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  364. (Ah, kay. So just roll Spell craft eight times then? She's going to Detect Magic on all three)
  365. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  366. (Yeah)
  367. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  368. (20+3 for 23 on cape | 10+3 for 13 for staff | 9+3 for 12, 6+3 for 9, 7+3 for 10, 20+3 for 23, 11+3 for 14, 5+3 for 8, for potion chest)
  369. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  370. The cape is a cloak of the hedgewizard of the transmutation variety- containing magic you don't think you've actually seen before at the academy. The staff... Well you can tell that it is very magical. And that it also has a materia slotted into it, but you can't identify it unfortunately. It's a power staff of the fire variety, as well. You're only actually able to identify one of the potions- looks like a potion of protection from energy: acid
  371. Strixursus - 10/17/2017
  372. Moss considered the choice, brow furrowing.... But, the cloak was the most intriguing to her, and after some thought, she stepped forward to pick it up, before stepping back again, smiling up at the behemoth. =Thank you kindly for the cloak, sir. I'm just glad that I was able to render proper aid.=
  373. Orolin - 10/17/2017
  374. http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic-items/wondrous-items/wondrous-items/c-d/cloak-of-the-hedge-wizard/
  375. The behemoth nods! The cloak shrinks to fit you perfectly, as magic items tend to do. The big guy nuzzles gently at you, and then glances down at the staff and potions, gathering them up and returning them back into his den.
  376.
  377. "I-I hope it's helpful to you...!" he says, sweetly, "Want me to take you back to your friend now?"
