  1. *GETTING STARTED (CREATING/MANAGING A LEAGUE)
  2. *Make a copy of this sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1z4FVhzuy3GbDrJJVkr8YGhomct49gBuaX1AbWdmxupU/edit#gid=1618555462 and change settings so that anyone with the link can see it. Share edit access with anyone you'd like to co-manage with.
  3. *Invite people. Recommended to create a server such as a Discord for your league.
  4. *If you'd like to invite strangers who are looking for a league, fill out this form: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfowhwlbFQ5cFoGaIZ9dYCHyRNwzLF-Si7aFsJnOd9TQOWcIw/viewform

  8. *See the people who are inviting strangers on the form above here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1-xRllerA6gq0YUCe6A7XrHG-4VoCaWyPBKSdU5qtWuI/edit#gid=1792853518

  10. *DRAFTING TEAMS
  11. *Have everyone create team name.
  12. *Recommended to gather as many players as possible at once and hold the draft in the server.
  13. *If someone has to miss the draft, have them submit an ordered "priority list" of players to draft, and give it to either the league manager or a trusted friend in the league to draft for them. If the list runs out, use the Cloudhead Live Rank or a similar ranking.
  14. *Randomly determine the draft order - recommended to use a snake draft format.
  15. *Each team drafts (my recommended amount) ten players.
  16. *You can use "PLAYER DATABASE" for quick info on players, and to mark who's been drafted and who's available.
  17. *Once a player is drafted, copy paste their name from the database next to the spot for the team that drafted them.
  18. *Afterward, fill out "ROSTERS" tab with the rosters.
  19.
  20. *TRANSACTIONS
  21. *Teams can organize trades of players (and draft picks if you're in a keeper league, more on keeper leagues below).
  22. *Once a trade is completed, alert a league manager.
  23. *League manager will post in either an announcements text channel, the "TRANSACTIONS" tab on the sheet, or both.
  24. *Teams can each sign one player they did not draft per season (can change to 2-3 if league is smaller.)
  25. *Even if a team trades away the player they signed, they can't sign anyone else if they've hit the limit.
  26. *Let the league manager know you are signing the player, and they'll post in whatever they post in.
  27.
  28. *HOW TO PLAY
  29. *Each team submits a list of five "active" players each week, i.e. the ones they believe will do the best that week.
  30. *Each player gives the team points based on their performance each week, which is added up to the grand season total at the end.
  31. *Make a copy of the "WEEK X" tab; this is where you'll put down the players' stats and get their points (automatically) given to you. Put the FTS value for that week in the top right.
  32. *Find the FTS value and TTS values on this sheet:
  33. *Add these three stats for each player in a tournament:
  34. *Placement points. Value based on TTS value of tournament and the player's placing.
  35. *Can easily calculate it with "PP GUIDE/TTS" tab. Plug in the TTS value of the tournament to the leftmost column and it'll give the PP for all placings.
  36. *Head-to-head. Game differential in all sets between players on different teams.
  37. *Upsets. Game differential in all losses to players not on a team.
  38. *Points are automatically calculated; transcribe them on the "STANDINGS" sheet, and you're done.
