  19. Zendikar is an interesting place to visit, but I find it a place I most decidedly do not want to live, no matter what benefits there may be to such.
  20.
  21. Now, I will say that there were certainly interesting things to see here. Interesting things to learn. Lithomancy, primarily; being able to turn stone toward the purposes of storing and redirecting mana is undeniably useful, and to say I took to studies of lithomacy like a duck to water would be a massive understatement. Even moreso, when I ... let us say -acquired- the Dreamstone Hedron, and was able to apply what I learned by unlocking it to my studies.
  22.
  23. My tutors were unamused by eight hedrons duct taped together, even if it warranted a solid 'holy shit' from one of them before they started babbling about bears.
  24.
  25. All good things must come to an end, however, and the best way to ensure that can happen is for the Eldrazi to gain empowerment from an attempt to kill them, their escape to crack the hedron shackling Ob Nixilis' spark and powers, for Oh Nixilis to subsequently drain the hedron network to reignite his own spark, the hedron network's collapse to open the gates in full, and for essentially everyone who could flee Zendikar to do so. Including the Gatewatch. Which... honestly, this is about par for the course. I could almost swear I heard Kozilek comment something to the effect of 'you had my curiosity, but now you have my attention' as it and Ulamog ran amok.
  26.
  27. I mean, to be fair to Nixilis he didn't expect someone to come along and R̀IP͘ ̨̢A̶͘Ņ̷̕D̛͘ ̵T͜͢͜E̵͝AR̨͟͞ but that's what he gets for being a demon-looking bastard, don't you think? But with the rest of the magic being unstable around here, putting him in chains and using him as my own power source while I built a better hedron network nearly from scratch to bind the Eldrazi was about the best course of action I could take, forcing them to fully occupy this plane so that they could be struck down. Not with fifteen squirrels, as tempting as such might have been. There were likely more elegant ways, but frankly, the most efficient was simply to unleash the fury of Enuma Elish on the both of the creatures. And once that was done, I bound Nixilis once more. Except, because I'm not a complete idiot, I actually imprisoned him instead of letting him wander about Zendikar.
  28.
  29. And then I went back to studying the applications of hedrons, including building them out of different materials, not to mention the most curious ability I seem to have acquired to consume ambient mana from the lands here...
