  1. 21:46:39 W<Wellwick|GM> ...
  2. 21:46:39 The tracks trembled underfoot. The heat was trapped within the dark tunnels, suffusing through her costume.
  3. 21:46:39 A subway train echoed away a couple of tunnels over as she finally stepped up to a maintenance door. She'd had to walk a few hundred yards down the tunnel from the recently abandoned station, but now it was nearly time to step into the lions den.||

  6. 21:55:29 I<ixi|BB> BB spun the umbrella on her shoulder, excited. The heat bothered her none, it couldn’t match how bad Texas got. Born and raised, although perhaps baked would be better to say. She twirled around, her dress spinning lightly and kicking up dust, making sure that everything was primed and ready to go. Wouldn’t be good to not be prepared, especially since this was an official job and not just one of her little playful excursions. She
  7. 21:55:29 thought back to how much money she was going to get from this caper.||

  12. 22:05:45 W<Wellwick|GM> Stepping through the door, she was plunged into the pitch black hallway. The temperature dropped the moment the door swung closed as the subway heat was cut off.

  14. 22:10:43 W<Wellwick|GM> She reached out to a wall, hitting a switch and the fluorescent lights chained along the length of the hallway. One halfway along sparked instead of turning on, the splashes of light dancing through the air as they fell to the ground. They touched on a dark grey mess tucked up flush on the edge of the hallway.
  15. 22:12:06 The door had also mostly silenced the echoes of the subway, leading to an ominous quiet.
  16. 22:16:39 She'd been recruited to head into the subway to clear up some reported beasts roaming the underground by one of the local gangs. The creatures had been causing trouble for the lower level minions who trafficked things around town using the unused subway lines and it seemed like a cape was needed to handle it.||

  18. 22:21:45 I<ixi|BB> Well, hopefully there wouldn’t be anyone coming her, otherwise they’d be in for a surprise. She flicked on her power, allowing it to automatically prime around her as she walked. As she walked through the hallway, to where the lights led, she mused on whether any of these beasts would be worth mounting as a trophy. Blowing up deer and the like was amusing, but far too easy now.||
  19. 22:22:43
  20. 22:28:50 W<Wellwick|GM> Her footsteps echoed along the hallway as she worked her way along it. She turned the corner and heard scuttling behind the walls, enough that she almost put her hand out against the wall backing up.

  22. 22:34:38 W<Wellwick|GM> That could have bad. Bringing the walls down around her might be a bad way to start this mission.
  23. 22:36:00 She tries to spot where the scuttling was coming from and thought she could see movement through the puncture marks in the walls.||

  25. 22:47:35 I<ixi|BB> Or an excellent to finish the mission quickly, and technically. Although that would suck all the fun out of it, and probably wouldn’t let her get paid. She shut off the auto primes, just in case the creepy crawlies triggered one by accident. What would be the best way to check into the wall?
  26. 22:47:41 Punch through it? She laughed, a dainty sound. She was being a silly. She just needed more explosions. That always solved things, just had to know how to apply it. And BB knew plenty of ways. She just needed some leverage first. She looks around, trying to find a large piece of metal rod.

  32. 23:01:43 ((Sorry for slow responses :S))
  33. 23:02:17 I<ixi|BB> Perfect. BB primed her arms and legs and grabbed the pipe, pulling while unleashing her the charge in her arms.||
  34. 23:02:28 ((you're fine! don't worry))

  47. 23:17:59 I<ixi|BB> Oooph! BB stumbled, but didn’t fall. Luckily, no one was there to see that. Would’ve gotten a few laughs thrown her way if she were back with the squad. Annoyed at herself, she wasted no time setting up what she wanted.
  48. 23:18:04 Grabbing a spare hex plate from her bra, she stuck the pipe at a angle into the puncture marks on the wall and rested it on the hex plate.
  49. 23:18:08 Priming the plate afterwards, she stepped back a fair distance and searched the ground for any small stone. Once in hand, she throws it at the plate.
  50. 23:18:09 ||
  51. 23:29:35 W<Wellwick|GM> ...
  52. 23:31:54 The first few that landed didn't produce the kinetic force required to trigger the plate, but larger pebble finally set it off. The pipe went blasting off through the wall, spilling plaster dust out into the hallway.
  53. 23:34:16 The light caught up the dust motes, blocking out vision of the wall for a few moments. When it settled, a chunk of wall a little to small for BB to fit through remained, through which the little available light showed the inner workings of a thin space through which wires and piping ran.
  54. 23:38:04 There might be just enough space for her to squeeze along the tunnel, if she can make it through the gap.||
  55. 23:42:08 I<ixi|BB> /Why did God have to bless me with these marvelous boobs?/ That gap wouldn’t be enough to fit in, unless … of course! BB primed her gauntlet and body once more. Hitting the edge of the gap should be enough to break off a piece, especially if she mega-punched it. Dynamo-punched? She was still working on her trademark. Stepping up to the gap, she readied herself to avoid stumbling again, and let loose.||
  56. 23:53:54 W<Wellwick|GM> The plaster tore away further, ripping into the intervening space.
  57. 23:54:29 More dust got thrown up and she had cough it away. Further scuttling could be heard in the dark, but moving away from her this time.||

  63. 00:16:09 W<Wellwick|GM> As she pressed up against the tunnel, barely managing to fit in the confined space, she spotted a sharp limb sliding out of the light. It couldn't have been more than 2 feet long and it moved quickly, but she knew which way it was moving.||
  64. 00:19:00 I<ixi|BB> Gosh darn, it’s a wee babe. Perhaps it was heading back to momma. BB gave pursuit.||
  65. 00:21:18 W<Wellwick|GM> Every few steps she managed to inch along she would feel a hot pipe at her back. The surroundings quickly became dark enough that she had to give her eyes time to adjust.
  66. 00:22:27 The scuttling increased in frequency and she suspected there were now two little beasties ahead. Her leg bumped up against something on the floor and she needed to step over it, slowly, to continue making progress.
  67. 00:22:54 There didn't seem to be any light up ahead, but she could start making out the echoes of subway trains as they rattled the walls either side of her.||

  176. 02:10:18 I<ixi|BB> A shame she wasn’t Mary Poppins, otherwise she could float down with her umbrella. She reaches over for one of the ropes and gives it a tug. If it holds, she uses it to go down the shaft. She re-primes her legs, just in case.||
  177. 02:11:28 W<Wellwick|GM> The thick wire she grabs ahold of seems sturdy enough to hold her, and she can brace herself as she makes her way down.||

  321. 23:50:49 Stepping up onto the platform the scuttling doubled in volume and BB cast her eyes upwards, her eyes catching movement above the seemingly abandoned carriages. A hole nearly 5 foot in diameter had been torn through the ceiling, cracks spider webbing away from the space.
  322. 23:50:49 The corpses of several of the spider creatures from before littered the edges now that she looked closer, the softer substance of their post-humorous states rounding off some of the edges of the hole.||

  376. 01:30:25 She looked down to see a dozen spindly legs poking out of the seam to her BDU pant's pocket. The legs had half a dozen joints, pointing out every which way, reaching for surfaces in every directions. The end points were /sharp/.

  404. 01:48:09 I<ixi|BB> Damn it, that /hurts!/ Slowly, BB grips the limb that’s inside her leg and yanks it out in a jiffy. Best not to let that ooze inside. Using the limb, she quickly cuts a strip off her pants and wraps it around the wound, applying pressure. The make-shift tourniquet would suffice for now.
  405. 01:48:18 She was fed up though. All these spindly little creatures and shit was all adding up and she was starting to not enjoy this at all. Pissed, she looked at the two creatures in the hallway ahead and flung the two disks at them, while enabling her auto-prime.
