When a god dreams, the world sits still.

When a god wakes, the world trembles in fear.

And when a god wakes in anger, the world flees in terror.

In his sleep, he feels it; another small amount of his power, returning to its source. Already, his essence has begun to seep into his surroundings while he is unconscious, slowly transforming the area around him into a blackened, murky template to be shaped by his will. His matter spreads throughout the place that was once a park, and in his sleep, he has already begun to transform that twisted place into a reflection of what resides within his mind.

Next comes Nihil's extrasensory blessing, spanning out around him as an all-encompassing surveillance. The surrounding world reveals itself, his senses penetrating the layers of all that lies within their reach, detecting everything and everyone with hundreds of kilometers of his location. Nothing can hide from this layered sense, and in his dreams he marks the progress of all life around him.

Then he feels the connection between himself and his spawn establish, and that is when his eyes are forced open.

Screams. Anguished, tortured and insane. One of his children has been corrupted beyond measure. Its life started pure, though no human could hope to understand that for themselves. Now its life has been perverted and destroyed, its existence a continuing agony.

One of his own...

He crawls and claws his way out of the ground, the polluted dirt and sediment yielding easily to his strength. And as he does, he focuses his will-- his wrath-- upon the landscape around him.
