During today's IRTC course, you may not talk or move unless directed to.

This training will take about 30 minutes, but if I am going too fast, please let me know.

If I disconnect please wait patiently &amp; return to HQ if there's no replacement after 10 minutes.

During this training please respond to me with Yes/No <RANK NAME - sir/ma'am>.

The use of sir/ma'am should be to address CWO+. If you are an NCO, it would be Yes/No <RANK NAME> instead.

While working at USN, it's important to follow some very basic rules:

1. Obey the Habbo way - such as no excessive swearing or bullying

2. Do not self-promote or work at another military or agency (roleplay is OK)

3. After entering the room, please do not loiter in the lobby

4. When in HQ, do not wander around aimlessly - sit at the front desk and recruit; and

5. Do not go AFK in the front row - use the AFK row (treadmills) upstairs instead.

Not following these rules can result in a demotion or being fired.

Please note that if you don't login to Habbo for 7 days you'll be discharged for

Absent Without Official Leave (AWOL). This becomes 10 days when E4+.

To prevent going AWOL you can request a leave on our forums or ask someone to file one for you.

One of the most important procedures in HQ is the "Attention Procedure".

If you see someone yelling "ATTENTION" or "ATTENTION ON DECK" in colored text,

you must immediately stand directly behind your chair - do not move or speak at all!

If you were not at the front row when attention is called - do not join in as this is disruptive!

When you see "AT EASE", "AS YOU WERE" or "CARRY ON" you may resume what you were doing before.

Your job as an Enlisted is to sit at the front desk and recruit (help people join).

Be sure to welcome guests to your desk using their names. Do not copy and paste any greetings!

Once someone is at your desk who would like to join, instruct them to do the following:

1. Change their motto to [USNAV] Recruit

2. Instruct them to join and favorite the USNAV Supporters Badge  - the one with love hearts,

3. Have them put on the uniform on the mannequin, and ensure they have neat hair.

4. Tell them to go line up at the sentry for training, their training should begin within 10 mins.

This will be your primary job as a new recruit.

There are other jobs in HQ from management to sentry/security, policing,

training, and public affairs - lots for you to do once you reach rank 4 (E4)!

At USN, we will provide you continual training throughout your career to help

you learn more about us and gain promotions. This extra training is called

Further Education and Training (or FEATs).

Some FEATs are restricted to certain ranks, so pay attention when they announce or just ask.

There are a few terms you'll hear in HQ, here are some:

FTF or "Fill the Front" - this means find an empty seat in the front row and start recruiting.

"Report" - this means you need to see the person calling you. You will be trained in this

procedure later - usually at your first promotion.

AFK - When you are AFK you are required to go to the AFK area (not the rest area).

hand, SALUTE - say o/ once to wave and salute when SALUTE is called.

Stand at ease - allows you to speak at attention, but you must remain standing.

Info desk - the desk next to the stairs on the right side, where you can ask questions.

USDF is a big military, but we are all a very close community. So please try to make new friends!

After graduating from this training, your promotions are very easy to earn.

Attaining FEAT {R} will get you promoted from rank 1 (E1) to rank 2 (E2),

but you can also earn this rank with hard work in HQ.
