10/27/2022 Verse 1-9

Anki: Which has been repeated for countless times
Gishin: It is a nightmare unfixable no matter what

Anki: Anki…
Gishin: have a favor to ask of you.

Verse 1 Start:
…I’ve always been <anxious>.
Unsure if here, this world, is really a place for me to settle in.

Even when with others,
I’ve always felt <lonely>.
Tortured,
by a mild <terror>.

I grow scared at the thought of future.
I detest facing reality.
Don’t want to recall the past.
——{I want to escape}.

Battle dialogue:
Alice: …Nightmares…Enemies I should be defeating
Alice: However…
Alice: Are they truly the foes?
Alice: The one behind the creation of these nightmares…
Alice: Who is it?

Verse 1 End:
Like a wisp, Alice stood there,
the world around her, like candy, gradually liquified and melted away.
Without noticing it,
a massive <labyrinth> appeared before her.

“Crap, oh crap! I’m gonna be late!”
Maybe out of <loneliness>
from somewhere a <rabbit> appeared,
rushing over in a panic.

That rabbit, running like a human does,
was for some reason wearing a vest and had a pocket watch in hand.
The rabbit hurriedly dashed into the labyrinth.

As if attracted to the rabbit,
Alice also {hopped} into the labyrinth.

Verse 2:
Chasing the rabbit led to the first door.
On the door written in beautiful lettering was
“What is justice?”
The I who was unable to answer, decided to search for another path.

Verse 3:
Letters written on the next door in messy handwriting read
“And what’s so wrong with depravity”. I felt that it touched upon
The despicable part of my heart, so
I decided to search for another path.

Verse 4:
Letters written on the next door in very small print read
“Let’s escape toward delusions”.
Feeling seen through, the I who was unable to face reality,
I decided to search for another path.

Verse 5:
Letters written on the next door were like something put down
while dozing off in class. They read “Languor’s the best”.
I felt that once I fall asleep I would never be able to wake again, so
I decided to search for another path.

Verse 6:
Letters written on the next door seemed like a child’s doodles,
They read “Violence makes one happy”.
Feeling terrified at myself who did understand to some extent,
I decided to search for another path.

Verse 7:
Letters written on the next door in casual handwriting read
“Is it a bad thing to be masochistic?”.
Feeling the dark side of my inner self was exposed,
I decided to search for another path.

Verse 8:
Letters written on the next door in weak handwriting read
“Want to be dependent on others”.
Able to understand this sentiment yet still wishing to decide some things out of my own will,
I decided to search for another path.

Verse 9 start:
“Misery”, “Curiosity”,
“Senility”, “Gluttony”,
“Nouveau Riche”, “Chastity”,

“Aesthetic”, “Hellfire”…
There’s something written
on the doors in the labyrinth too.
But every one of them I found difficult to accept.

I could only escape,
searching for another path.

Battle dialogue:
Alice: All this way I’ve fought.
Alice: I’m so close to reaching the answer.
Alice: I’m about to change the world.
Alice: But I don't see an exit.
Alice: I wish someone could help me.
Alice: Someone, someone…
Alice: Someone help me!

Parrah: So…that’s how it is.
Noya: The answer has always been here.

[Choice: Do you want to destroy this world?]

Verse 10 Start:
…Who are you?
……Oh, I see.
You have been fighting alongside me.
Observing close to my side.
I am not alone.
All this time I have been in agony, been anxious.
I didn’t know wherein lies the meaning in this battle.
I felt if I were to harbor any doubt,
everything would end.
But…it does have meaning.
So for coming here to keep me company…

Wave 1 battle dialogue:
Alice: Everything that’s here is a form of my inner desires.
Alice: The reason why they have horrific appearances is because I fear desire.
Alice: It is because I am weak-hearted.
Alice: However, that’s alright.
