  1. Arthur Rowan says, "Dyle."
  2.
  3. Dylerun Grauhimmel asks, "Mh?"
  4.
  5. Arthur Rowan says, "There's construction of something I wanted to have your word on."
  6. Dylerun Grauhimmel says, "Depends on what it is."
  7. Arthur Rowan asks, "Mana siphoning capsules. Do you have any experience with constructions like those, or devices?"
  8.
  9. Dylerun Grauhimmel says, "Mana siphoning? Yes. Capsules themselves?..."
  10.
  11. Dylerun Grauhimmel says, "...Mmmh."
  12.
  13. Arthur Rowan says, "Capsules isn't what I need your experience with. My Undead could construct it."
  14.
  15. Arthur Rowan says, "The mana siphoning part is where I need your experience."
  16.
  17. Dylerun Grauhimmel says, "Get some tyrium, cold iron. Its that simple."
  18.
  19. Dylerun Grauhimmel says, "You're a necromancer, you should know how to withdraw or alter ones mana."
  20. Arthur Rowan says, "I already do. I was looking for best ways to do that - if I wasn't, I wouldn't come to you."
  21.
  22. Dylerun Grauhimmel says, "All my methods involve metal."
  23.
  24. Arthur Rowan says, "Tyrium and cold iron it is, then. Tyrium is pretty easy to get, but--"
  25.
  26. Arthur Rowan says, "Cold iron though? Hm."
  27.
  28. Dylerun Grauhimmel says, "Cold iron is just refined tyrium through an energy mage."
  29.
  30. Dylerun Grauhimmel says, "Recruit Alastor. Or Artaghh."
  31.
  32. Arthur Rowan asks, "I would take the liberty to assume its properties are also stronger, correct?"
  33.
  34. Dylerun Grauhimmel says, "Yes."
  35.
  36. Arthur Rowan says, "I see. I don't have anything else, thank you."
  37.
  38. Dylerun Grauhimmel says, "Mmmh."
  39.
  40.
  41. [PURIFYING METAL]
  42.
  43. Arthur Rowan says, "Alastor."
  44.
  45.
  46. Alastor G. Vishkar says, "Mmh? Hello."
  47.
  48. Arthur Rowan asks, "You're in possession of Energy magics, aren't you?"
  49.
  50. Alastor G. Vishkar asks, "Yes, I am. Anything I can help with?"
  51.
  52. Arthur Rowan says, "I'll need you to charge portions of Tyrium. Come along."
  53.
  54. Alastor G. Vishkar says, "Ah. Of course."
  55.
  56. There's no doubt that the Lich has been up to something.
  57.
  58. The large quantities of Tyrium that Dawn was in possession of was now being used in order to construct capsules of sort- mostly composed of simple iron, but with particular slots within, intended for Tyrium - and the empty casing that was intended for something else entirely. No doubt Arthur brought him here exactly for that.
  59.
  60. With their entrance inside the Research Facility, the Undead immediately greeted their Lich King, followed by the Eternal. Countless Undead workers were forging new capsules, intended for holding large number of people all over... and yet, still, they brought along a sack of Tyrium, one that wasn't intended for the construction of capsules themselves.
  61.
  62. "There."
  63.
  64. "Tyrium is a very capable material, known for its properties of draining mana. I intend to transfer that mana from countless people into a ritual circle."
  65.
  66. "And while Tyrium is mostly fine for that, I would also need Cold Iron. It would not be easy for you to refine it, mind, so I'm keeping it to small amounts, but... still, try your best."
  67.
  68. "The success of entire thing may depend on how refined it will come out to be."
  69.
  70. The Undead approached closer to Alastor, handing over the sack with Tyrium. Even now, the potency of the metal suggested malicious draw of mana that it always had... attempting to drain his power without a pause.
  71. (Arthur Rowan)
  72.
  73. Alastor followed Arthur into the laboratory. Tyrium and charging it wasn't something that he often intended to do, due to the draining potential of the metal. But, just recently he had achieved something akin to this. It was a similar technique to what he wanted...
  74.
  75. And often, similar to something he achieved. The Tyrium was handed towards him, before he decided to make a few notes; Surely, things that he imagined Arthur had already figured out, but he had to point it out either way. "It might react a bit differently to me. Rieka is... Something else, at least my studies have led me to think."
  76.
  77. And then, his arm was removed from under the cape. It glimmered with Rieka, allowing it to shine outwards along his arm, and slowly the green energy moved forward to reach at the Tyrium. He lowered some, getting the metal within his hands, and then...
  78.
  79. ... Slowly, at bursts, the cold metal was sent bursts of Rieka. Each time, it glimmered with green energy at the base of his hand, and soon enough, the metal was infused with green lines. But it seemed to be fairly inefficient; Tyrium pulled the energy into itself, not onto its outer layer. He spoke a few words, anticipating the tiredness that could come if he pushed himself too far. "Tyrium works less as a storage, and more as a constant drainer. It can store energy, but getting it out is hard; Almost too hard. I suppose you have a plan for that? It could be useful for me as well, if you did. I've struggled with that."
  80.
  81. After a couple of bursts, a single chunk of Tyrium was enchanted. And so it went by, one by one. It was better than to try and do it by shooting bursts through all chunks of metal, perhaps hopefully to stop himself from getting too drained.
  82. (Alastor G. Vishkar)
  83.
  84. Obviously, Arthur thought of it all already. As a renowned runescribe, it probably wouldn't be all that difficult for him to draw energy from the source like this... or rather, a storage. Still, he anticipates that it would be a fairly difficult process to do altogether, and when Alastor remarks about it, he simply nods.
  85.
  86. "Of course. I was going to set up runic circles and enchantments all over in order to draw the mana efficiently. Tyrium and Cold Iron would be simply the means of taking the mana from countless people, but... runes would be the 'lever' for the mechanism, so to say."
  87.
  88. "I'm the one who constructed Statue, after all... and I'm the one who unsealed the Angel, only to kill him. I'd figure I'm pretty good at runes at this point."
  89.
  90. Still, the flare of the blues watch carefully as Alastor performs his action. When the chunks begin to glow with the green, he doesn't seem to bat an eye - he didn't truly care what sort of Energy would activate the metal to turn it into Cold Iron, really... it was all just a means to an end to him. And if it would happen sooner as result of Alastor doing it now? It's all only better.
  91.
  92. "But I'm in no rush. Tyrium would have a lot of time to drain the said people of all they could muster, for the runes to transfer it as soon as possible. Then, once I'm actually done with all these people..."
  93.
  94. "It would be time to dispose of them."
  95. (Arthur Rowan)
  96.
  97. Difficulties of a runescribe were different from these that came from an alchemist, after all. Even if Alastor was an energy magi, he was still rather young; And this was the first time he was doing something like that. Nevertheless, he needed the focus.
  98.
  99. Energy focused yet again as he continued, hearing the explanation that Arthur himself gave. His mind raced to find other solutions, where he could actually use his own. The canisters of poison were useful in the end, but he needed something that could work for himself.
  100.
  101. Nevertheless, the push of his own rieka was useful. He needed the strain, after all he intended on training his own circuitry to work on his own enhancement. There were costs on things, and sometimes, the cost was simpler than it could be.
  102.
  103. Most of the tyrium were left with faint linings of Rieka on its outside. Likely, the inside was more infected with the visible alternative to mana that he possessed. Nevertheless, he looked at a few chunks that were already filled to what he could, disposed to the left of the bag. Or, at least, the cost seemed to grow exponentially for him to continue putting it in.
  104.
  105. And then, he grabbed one of these. It was still not Cold Iron, but there lied a few more things. Perhaps it was all planned, in the end? The whole sack of the metal was converted, put into another place, ordered directly. "I could charge them more, but... It'd take a bigger strain on me. The more Rieka I put in, the more it demands from me. But..." He grabbed one of the masses.
  106.
  107. It still drained his energy, allowing the rieka that exposed on its surface to glimmer some, as the green influence slowly grew. "Rieka takes over any kind of mana that comes in contact to it. I figure since it is already drained, simply having someone hold it could probably have the energy drained..." And then, he put the slightly more charged one down on the ground.
  108.
  109. Circuitry on his arm nearly entirely shut down. "This enough? I can push myself a bit further and focus on a single chunk, if that would be the thing. If the idea was making it drain... Arcanium could work as well, enchanted with Rieka. Or at least, that is my theory. I will have results and certain answers on that soon enough. Another raid is due to test the new poison."
  110. (Alastor G. Vishkar)
  111.
  112. In truth, he didn't need that much of Cold Iron. Some of it would be used as separate casings, to control the flow of mana and dampen anything that attempts to escape on the outside, to prevent the energy from leaving the capsules and the mana to stay within the Tyrium… if only to be transported by the runes. Surely, that wouldn't take too much, right?
  113.
  114. A single glance is given to view over all of these metals. It's hard to tell where exactly Arthur is looking whenever he does not turn his head, save for the flicker of blue fire in his eyes, but a keen eye could tell that there's still remnant of crimson beneath - a subtle glow, one that persisted in his actual eyes once, now completely gone.
  115.
  116. "I don't think that would be necessary." A single exclamation is given while he inspects the rest. "I don't need that much Cold Iron, to begin with. Cold Iron is usually utilized in order to dampen mana, or to keep it controlledwithin certain limits... and I figure this much would be enough."
  117.
  118. When Alastor finishes the last of the chunks that were given to him, he calls over the Undead to collect it. One after another, they transport everything that's been enchanted - the workers of Research Facility were tirelessly labouring themselves to construct capsules, more and more, to fit literal hundreds.
  119.
  120. No doubt, a state of the art technology.
  121.
  122. "That would be enough."
  123.
  124. "Now, I'll need to prepare the ritual circle and then fit the captives... they should be arriving soon, according to my reports. Plenty to work with."
  125.
  126. "Thanks for your help."
  127. (Arthur Rowan)
