  1. Wandering the hallway, wondering still why she's here, Kogasa nonetheless is thankful for a chance to attend the academy. It's a wonder that youkai are willing to remain together like this and be... willing to learn. It's really not like youkai to do such things, but Kogasa doesn't mind. Knowledge is strength, and... And having a bit of knowledge about where she's going would be nice! Being so distracted with her own private thoughts only made her lost in the hallway, as she tries to look for a spare study room...

  5. *While it seems like she was hardly around, the school's own student advisor just so happen to be finishing up her break. Most of the time she was earlier slacking off in her office or enjoying the peaceful weather this time of year brings to the school. She had her folder that was the roster of classes though it seems she rarely used it, but it seems Shiki was getting onto her about that so she borught it along just for today. Along the way, it would seem she would take a notice to one of the students she knew from one of the classes.* "Oh. Kogasa!" *She would call out to the lost Youkai.*

  9. Kogasa turns. "Oh? Komachi! ..." Kogasa says, evidently surprised. "... I didn't expect to see you around here. This is a pleasant surprise, indeed." Kogasa holds onto a thick textbook as her umbrella hangs onto her bookbag, floating nearby Kogasa and huffing at the air with it's oversized tongue. Kogasa looks up and down on Komachi, studying her... "Are you on a break right now, perhaps? Because I think I am in a bit of trouble..." Sticking her tongue out cutely, Kogasa explains her situation, of trying to look for a place that's more private, in order to study something... The book that Kogasa is holding seems to be titled "Eldritch, Arcane, and All Things Magical", suggesting that she might've been taking a small dive into the magical art for some reason? "... I need help with studying in general, I guess - traditional Japanese youkai like me just isn't suited for places like this..." Kogasa says, a bit downcast.

  13. *Komachi would finally stop in front of Kogasa, giving her small nods as she would listen to her little tale, thinking it over as she woudl take her roster book in one hand and begins to bump it against her shoulder idle as she would look up for a moment, then gives Kogasa a chuckle and a laugh.* "Oh silly Kogasa. The academy was suited for for all the Youkai, even the ones that are not too use to the indoors. I will admit it takes a bit to get use to, but in the end it'll feel like your own home away from home. But one might think you should find a study group as others are researching the same topic. But if you really want some privacy from the others.... How would you like to use my office?"

  17. "I, well... Those in this class tends to be together most of the time, I feel a bit uneasy about interjecting myself into middle of the group." That, and there are fairly weird people in the class - some of them does nothing but play with their dolls all day, while others does nothing but play with various types of fungi... Kogasa shakes her head and continues, "Besides, I am learning this in order to defeat them in a danmaku battle. Know thy enemy, type of thing." That said, Kogasa seems to be quite happy with the suggestion. "If I may use your office, that would be very helpful. Since I am here for mostly the theory rather than the practice, I won't be making a mess! ... If I may, then... Then let's go."

  21. "Of course you may. I wouldn't offer it if I wasn't lending it to you." *Komachi would give Kogasa a wink and moves past her. The Facility end seem to be where Komachi was ending to in the first place. She would start to lead Kogasa where while talking in her usual manner.* "While it true that some of the students seem strange and weird about their ways of magic using and studying, that still means they're using their rights and beliefs to study up on what best suits them. Either it be dolls or mushrooms, they're still finding what they need out of life and if they have no regrets then they should happily do what they enjoy doing. And magic just isn't about fighting, it's about exploring the impossible to make possible. Now wether you use that possible for just Danmaku is clearly up to you."

  25. Kogasa laughs and nods, "I am more used to a different type of magic than what they teach - their target audience is Magicians, after all, not a Karakasa youkai. I am more than happy to learn more about the natural order of the world, as well as the ways in which it may be bent, what spirits and elementals one can summon, relational artifacts and the like, but none of that I'll ever actually use, I think. A traditional Japanese youkai like me has the pride and tradition of youkai to uphold, after all." Kogasa pauses for a moment, and murmurs "Though the love potions that the mushroom girl was mixing seems promising, if a bit... flashy... Maybe I can use you as a stirring rod?" Kogasa directs to the last part to her own umbrella, which gives a non-commital, inaudible grunt.

  29. *The Shinigami seem to look back at Kogasa with a lifted brow, then finally enters the office with Kogasa. It was nothing too special, just your usual desk with chairs. AN in and out box. The Out box is empty but there sure are a lot of papers in the in box. There's a bookshelf in the corner, mostly filled with poems, self guides and different ways to please your boss. Wait- what?* "So long as you're ready to expain your mind ther eis no limits to you. And you're more than free to take more advance courses. I think Mima offers it to those that have a heavy interest in your sort of thing. never thing there is an end to something simply because the knowledge runs out. The school is here to teach everyone that you never stop learning and that the outsides are your research grounds and your books. You will find you place amoung the world and no one can tell you otherwise."

  33. "Ahaha. That may well be so. I know that I enjoy the philosophy and psychology classes more than anything else. Any tsukumogami would. We strive so hard every day just trying to be used, to understand why we exist as tools, to understand and be understood, and... Wonder about the meaning of what it means to be what we are. Those moral guidance helps us more than anything ever well. Those class I prefer." Kogasa looks down to what seems to be a small bookmark, a gift from someone in her class weaved together by rose and lavender stalks, the scent clinging on it still, calming and enticing. She takes it out, evidently not using it as a bookmark much, and sniffs it slightly, her nose twitching as she seems to be thinking of a few things in the past. "I guess I'll tell you the truth. I am not really here for the knowledge, though some of those are valuable. A place like this is more important for the relationship and social experience, whether friends and allies, or competitions and opponents... Heh, well, studying hard is important or something - though most of my classes doesn't really need studying beside for this one..." Kogasa pauses, before saying something TOO out of the line.

  37. "Oh? Do you know? I know I hold those classes though I didn't think they were that good. Eiki-sama just suggested that I hold those classes for humans and Youkai alike. THose who have the will to ponder their own thoughts often drift into their own state of awareness but often get lost on their jounery to the next step up. The roads we must take will always have folks in them and often we try to create out own shortcuts to make life easier, only to get lost in the travel." *Komachi would then take a seat against the edge of her desk, listening in on Kogasa once more and just giving her that welcoming smile.* "So long as you make your life jounery to fit how you see it, there is no reason to live with regret and withdraw yourself from having the feeling of need and enjoyment."

  41. Taking a seat and taking it easy, Kogasa opens her book and nods, running her finger across the runes and text. "... Those classes are the most fun. Oh, well, beside the spellcard design and implementation classes some fairy was holding. Despite being a fairy she's actually fairly decent at explaining the spellcard rules and the like, much to everyone's surprise..." Kogasa trails off-topic, uneasiness a bit evident in her voice and posture. "I am just wondering what I should be doing as a student here. The philosophy of life I've learned is fun and all, but I am also learning things like this... Oss, to conjure wind..." Kogasa murmurs, trying to focus more on the text but is obviously more interested in Komachi right now.

  44.
  45. "Well, can't everything in a perfect manner. But if you can work your way around the rules and fortifications that build from your regrets, then you will have nothing to worry about as the plains of easy travel is a straight road with many friends and loved one who will enjoy accompying you and help you out if you trip over something in your path. I'll let you be so you may focus on your studies. It is silly of my to bring you here so you can study just only so I can distract you with my love for talking." *The Shinigami would take a seat behind her desk, working on a few things for now.*

  49. Kogasa remains silent for a moment, as if thinking about the subject matter, before turning to her own. As her interest in the subject wanes, her interest in the Shinigami rises. It's not like she's getting tested on this course - she took it as an audit course for the knowledge, and the material is mainly about actual practice anyway. She can totally practice on Komachi, actually, but that would be a bit... Or would it? There are a few charm spells that (According to Marisa, anyway) are totally harmless and undetectable... Ehh, but that would be, erm, not good, right? And for those type of things, she would... and should ask for permission first. "Komachi-san, um... You, are you busy? I... Might need some help with my studies."

  52.
  53. "Oh?" *Komachi would look up, some of the Inbox papers now finally in the Outbox, but she still has a large stack of them to go and in all that she stops what she's doing and looking up at Kogasa with that welcoming, good-natured smile that just seems to be glued to her.* "And student wishing for help is more than welcome to recieve it. But even I'll admit I don't always have an snwer, but I will try my best for you, Kogasa."
  54.
  55. --
  56.
  57. "Well, the class is mainly hands-on practice. I've been taking a bit of private lessons from Patchouli and Marisa on this matter, but... Well, I am just not sure if this works or not, this charm magic thing." Kogasa says, a bit hesitant. "It shouldn't affect you much, beside for increasing a bit of friendliness toward the caster.. Unless, of course, I made a mistake. A-and of course, I won't!" Beginner's luck should help right? "So..." Kogasa fidgets a little, realizing it to be a fairly impossible request.
  58.

  60.
  61. "Well, one should know the outcome then. Should you put too much in it I might get too friendly to the point I want some closure untilt he spell wears off. If you give enough of your effort then nothing will be changed. If something goes wrong I could be your mortal enemy. But you're a smart girl so I know that will rarely happen. I have no problems in helping you out, just as long as you use it with no regrets." *Komachi would finally stand up and walk around her desk.* "Where would you like me to stand?"
