Long work day, Jamie and Noemie

Jamie Adair: While Wyatt had been taking a few days off and getting his head on straight, James, or rather, Jamie, had been working the overtime at the station. He had so much time accrued that he could probably take a few weeks off and not even be missed. But he would wait until Wyatt came back. He was due to be in a day or two, giving Jamie plenty of time to catch up on some paperwork until then. But he needed a break. Sitting all day at the desk and not moving unless it was for coffee or snacks, it was getting to him. Fishing his phone out of his pocket and pulling up his contacts, he dialed up his fiancé, putting the phone to his ear as the line began to ring.

Noemie: The she wolf had just finished dinner when her fiancé had called her. Picking up her phone with a smile, she answered with, "Hello babe. How are you?" What she had made for dinner was beef wellington with mashed potatoes along with carrots. Wearing upon her figure was sweat pants along with one of his button up business shirts. Her stomach was poking out a bit. Though not so much. She was only a few months in. Just barely on her second trimester. Knowing he was under a great deal of stress since he was working overtime at the station since Wyatt was taking a few days off, she knew that this would be stellar to come back to. Even had a bottle of whiskey for him, his favorite kind specifically.
