Shibe Story (WIP)

	"Hey, Anon, are you busy tomorrow?"
	You look up from your 18th spreadsheet that day and catch the gaze of Shibe, the office janitor, peeking over the wall of your cubicle. You're a bit surprised, because she's not really the type of person to initiate conversation. Still, you decide to humor her.
	"No, actually. Managed to convince Esca to give me tomorrow off. What's up?"
	Shibe takes a breath; an indicator that she's spent at least five minutes or so rehearsing what she was about to say. "I'm having some... dental work done tomorrow, and my ride just called and canceled on me. Would you mind giving me a lift? It shouldn't take more than an hour."
	You barely open your mouth before she starts speaking again.
	"I mean, I totally understand if you'd rather not, you know, it's your day off, you wouldn't really wanna spend it driving your coworkers around. I can always get a Boo-ber ride or find someone else or-"
	"Shibe, it's fine. I can take you."
	Shibe blinks, almost in disbelief of your agreement. "R-really? You'd do that? I don't want to be a bother or take you away from your day off or-"
	"I already said yes, Shibe. Just tell me what time."
	"Oh! Right, right. 3 o'clock tomorrow, I'll text you. You have my number, right?"
	"Uh, no, I don't think so." You pull out your phone and unlock it before offering it to her. "Did you wanna-"
	She immediately snatches it out of your hand and quickly adds her number to your contacts. You don't think you've ever seen someone's thumbs move so fast before.
	"There you go!" she says, handing your phone back while her tail wags behind her. "Call me!"
	"Yeah, sure, I'll- wait, what?"
	"Uh... I mean... uh oh! S-sounds like the boss is calling me! Better get back to work!"
	You don't even get a chance to say you don't hear anything, she's already gone.
