- Each bit of this development was done over a course of days, I just decided to compile it all as one.
- ---PART ONE---
- Kanji would find himself a nice quiet spot away from the sounds of crying babies or anything that would disturb his peace on a whole. He really just wanted to focus on his own training, which just so happened to be the meditation he spoke about. Kanji just so happened to not be your regular half saiyan warrior, he was a martial artist through and through which meant he prided himself on more on how well he fought rather than how large his battle power was despite him having a pretty large amount for his age.
- However due to not growing up with his mother, he was raised on human values and ways. He was never one to win fights through a massive powerlevel gap between him and his opponents and simply overpowering them with raw strength. Kanji's mother was an amazing martial artist, legendary even and she made sure to grow him to become as good as her if not better due to his enchanced biology gifted to him by his saiyan father.
- He practiced this martial art known as "Empty Fist". It was a style that was at it's strongest when the user was void of anger and an completely pure entity. Discovered by his mother because that's exactly what she was, a pure soul that had no anger in her heart for anyone no matter how they wronged her.
- He strived to be that too and naturally it didn't work so great for him due to where he lived. His mom was a city girl and his father was a tribesman, their relationship was pretty much taboo but you can't fight love. His father died off early leaving him to spend most of his life with his mom and by the time he was 12, his mom had died too leaving him to fend for himself. He was poor indivually and him having a tail forced him to have to make a move to ensure safety for himself but he wasn't made for the type of lifestyle the tribes people lived. They were brutes who hunt, fight and pretty much fend for themselves and he was unable of doing any of that except fighting but he didn't do that for the purpose of inflicting harm or violence like a lot of the others, he just was a young martial artist who loved fighting with all his heart for what it was. Such a rough world, filled with hardships and conflicts was not for a peaceful soul like himself or atleast someone who was trying his hardest not to act out of impulsive rage.
- He had to get beaten up a lot, bullied for being too kind for a saiyan despite not being entirely that, starving due to being unwilling to kill animals for meat. Lots of times he wanted to let go and give in to his primal instincts but he fought past it and meditate through those hard times, if he was brutalized by an opponent he'd meditate after, if he was being teased or called names by other kids he'd meditate throughout it blocking out all forms of negativity, if he was truly hungry to the point where his stomach sounded like an Oozaru roaring he was still meditating until he fell asleep from being too weak.
- Kanji was dedicated to the lifestyle of his mother and for the sake of his martial arts discipline. Fast forward, he still meditates every day and has never been exposed to a negative emotion or anger at all. His mind was as clear as water.
- Aside from showing his love for his mom through keeping up with her practices and teachings throughout his life, dedicating himself to the martial art practice he was taught as well. He had a big reasoning as to why he was so focused on keeping his mind void of anger and negativity, that reason was a secret technique that makes "Empty Fist" style what it is.
- A state of mind known as "Zen", this was a state his mother was able to tap into at will due to her many years of meditation and she was able to harness all of the power that would be normally fueled by ones rage while still being completely calm. Some could call it a calm and composed wrath, similar to that of a crashing tidal wave. Calm in appearance yet very very lethal to whatever is swallowed in it.
- He was working hard to achieve and he was coming pretty close to it actually. The lad has been meditating since he was seven which was around the same time he began learning "Empty Fist" and now he was 15 years old meaning he has been meditating for a whole 8 years.
- While meditating, he could feel it. He could feel that he was close to that state of mind, a mind that was completely clear of everything negative. A soul that incapable of feeling anger anymore.
- "I'm almost there mother. I'll make sure to show the world the power that an Empty Fist master holds!"
- ---PART TWO---
- Kanji just like every other day he spent the remainder of the day meditating after training hard. Chanelling his energies, allowing his ki to freely flow around his body like a stream. However this time around he felt something different, he felt somewhat really close to attaining the state of "Zen" his mother spoke about but one may wonder exactly does he know. Well Kanji has been realizing the last few times he's spent meditating, he felt as though he was pulling ki from a different energy source than just his body it felt as though he was drawing from the universe itself and each time he meditated that feeling got stronger.
- Today that feeling was at it's strongest. For about an hour into meditation, he'd start realizing that he was suddenly levitating which was a surprise to him considering he didn't even know flight was possible but he kept going, refusing to disrupt the process of meditation. Soon things would begin getting more strange. His energy began leaking out of his body involuntarily, golden and pure in essence. His ki was radiant, truly that of a person who has never commited a sin a day in his life and a person who dedicated themself to a lifestyle of a monk.
- His energy kept rising without control and streaks of bio-electricity began to lash everything around, the power he was releasing was raw and indicative of the great potential within him.
- Kanji was as silent ever, not even fully aware that this was all happening on the outside but he could feel something within him changing and he just knew that this was only one thing. It had to be "Zen", this was exactly how his mother described it when explaining what it took to achieve this state of mind. She didn't give him a set requirements or anything really more than explaining to him that being living a pure life and not succumbing to his primal urges as well as keeping his mind clear and meditating everyday for atleast a couple hours a day are a set of rules that all practioners of their fighting style needs to stay true too or else things could go horribly wrong. The young male didn't want to risk it all so he simply followed but he was pretty sure that she only said that last part to keep him on the right path for this exact moment. Not to mention, whenever his mother mentioned the state of "Zen" it was always a "You don't just train hard to achieve this state of mind, it's one of those things where you'll know when it happens" and at first he was confused because he meditated for years before this moment and there were many times when he had doubt but he quickly cancelled those negative emotions in order to keep his mind clear and just kept on doing it.
- The martial artist felt really strange but not in a bad way. His energies were changing as if they were transforming, his ki was no longer the regular energy that every possessed. He felt lighter and overall more free in mind, the ki that flowed through his body gave him a feeling of bliss and peace. It was a strange feeling but it was as though he went through some kind of ki enlightenment.
- "Hm.."
- ---PART THREE---
- Kanji would begin meditating once again, he was nearing the end of his spiritual journey to the end goal known as "Zen". The last time he meditated, he was sure he felt as though his energy changed drastically. It felt less heavy and his body was now a lot lighter than normal despite his pretty bulky build, the way he moved and even the way he thought was now a lot smoother and clear allowing him to fight with much more ease.
- "Hm. I think I've finally done it. I can feel it..."
- As he was meditating, he felt a similar sensation to the last session but it was definitely stronger than before. Except the effects weren't the same, there wasn't any involuntary release of energy or lashes of electricity. He felt bliss, true bliss and his whole body would be enveloped in a light glow that stuck to him permanently.
- The pureness of his aura could be felt from a mile a way. He was legit definition of a man who was void of anger, he could not feel that type of emotion towards anyone or anything. Not even the slightest bit frustration, no negative thoughts exist in his mind and as a matter of fact, he could feel nothing but happiness and gratitude towards his mother.
- Kanji definitely felt as though this made him a lot stronger than he ever thought would be possible and finally just like his mother wanted him to be, he was now a master of "Zen".
