—  Park McKenzie was born to a middle class family in the English city of Bristol, in the summer of 1997. Her mother, Licheng, worked as a science technician at her school and her father, Changkyun, worked in the English branch of a Chinese company. She lived a peaceful life, and made a few friends, playing football in her spare time. She loved Bristol as it was a massive city and she loved adventures: she'd usually wander off with her friends and worry her parents sick.
   Kenzie decided to pursue a career as a trainee when visiting Seoul at the age of 13 as part of a student exchange, and her breath was taken away with the pure atmosphere of music.
   She was told a lot about it by her korean exchange friend (who by the way, knows she's an idol now), and was instantly fascinated by the dancing and the visuals and the success these idols gained. She decided to try and learn a K-Pop dance for fun, with her exchange friend, and decided to dance for fun anyway as it made her really happy. She was advised to maybe become a professional dancer by her friends back in England, and realised the opportunities to make a living out of what makes her happy were endless at an entertainment company. Shortly after, she auditioned for SM in person numerous times but was rejected due to her lacking vocal skills. She auditioned for Pledis three months later and was accepted for her dancing skills and potential as a singer. As a trainee, she often saw it as a competition and would overwork herself into early hours of the morning, but she told herself this was the price to pay with stardom.

— Park Kenzie is what you would call a natural leader: it's easy for her to take charge in most situations. It's normal for her to make a plan, tell it and say firmly, "this is the way we're going to do it", regardless of how far-fetched her ideas are. No matter how much you don't like the way she wants things to be, her smooth communication skills and subtle persuasions will have the whole group agreeing on her idea.
   She can also be a bit hot-tempered at times, even if you haven't done anything wrong. You can tell she's in a mood when she sits down, crosses her arms and won't reply to anything. This kind of behaviour happens several times a week, and her roommate has accepted this as some kind of weekly routine. God help you if you try to hide; she will find you eventually.
   Occasionally, these emotions will spiral out of control. When this happens, it's best to shove her in her room and leave her alone. Eventually, she'll get bored and either take a nap or start drawing on her hands.
   She's also a major hypocrite. You leave things to the last minute? You'll get shouted at. If she leaves things to the last minute, it's because she's stressed, she's got a lot of things on her mind and you can shut your mouth promptly. If you drop your ice cream, shut the fuck up, it's just an ice cream. If she drops her ice cream, the world must stop what they're doing and get her a new one immediately. Living with Kenzie is like living with a giant baby.
   She also refuses to admit when she's wrong, most of the time. She will churn out tons of excuses just so you can't get a word in edgeways, make a loud noise and sit in another room to "think things through". She accepts that she's problematic, but makes no move to change her behaviour.
   She can be viewed as an overachiever, because none of her efforts are seen as good enough. She'll get home from college after an exam, sit in silence, and think, with highly analytical thinking, where she could have fucked up. If her grades aren't perfect, she'll demand a resit. If you dare interrupt her studying, you'll get a quick slap around the head.
   However, those who don't know Kenzie (such as the general public, people at college, etc.) see her as observant and serious. It's hard not to agree with that when in public, she's usually sitting with her legs crossed, wearing sunglasses, sipping a Starbucks with no expression on her face. She doesn't make much noise in front of people she doesn't know, preferring to communicate only when necessary. She's the type of girl you don't want to sit next to on the bus, because you're intimidated by her unwelcoming stature and blank facial expression.
   When in the company of boys, or anyone who is likely to be attracted to her, she goes the extra mile just to look eligible. She'll often flirt with them jokingly, comment on people walking by, and generally act like a rich hoe, who's good looking and knows it very well. This kind of behaviour only happens with boys, and it's very entertaining to watch her with that attitude. She often teams up with ALLURING to go talk to boys, but makes sure she does most of the talking.
   Anyone who is friends with Kenzie knows that she talks about sex way too much. This is also why she gets along well with ALLURING, because they will stay up all night talking about that one guy who had amazing abs at the beach. She claims to know everything about "coitus" (her preferred term) and would happily pass on all her knowledge to her friends. All this pent-up desire hardly ever gets a chance of release, because of her studying and the fact that she hardly ever gets past third-base with a guy.
   Now, despite her icy aura, and problematic attitude toward most people, she often shows her soft, caring side, but only in front of her friends. When she's not pissed off, or preparing for an exam, she's the softest bean you'll ever know.
   After coming home from college, or from a long hour of studying, she'll throw on her favourite red sweater, curl up in a ball on the sofa and watch Stranger Things on Netflix. You're not allowed to disturb her, unless you're coming to give her hot chocolate, or you're gonna snuggle with her. After this, she's guaranteed to be happy, and trust me, Kenzie's smile is the cutest thing you've ever seen.
   She's actually in touch with her caring side, but it doesn't show through in front of people. If it did, people would get suspicious, because she wouldn't be behaving like the Kenzie they know. You can tell it's showed if you fall asleep on the couch and wake up with a blanket around you; or if you can't afford the jacket you really wanted from the shop, and you find it sitting on your bed after a day's practise. There's a 99% chance Kenzie put it there. If you ask who it was, she'll smile and whisper, "it was the fairies". One thing to know is not to confront her about it, because she'll suddenly get very flustered, and your chance of being visited by "the fairies" again gets lowered.
   When her caring side actually comes out publicly, it doesn't last long. For example, the time she got into a fight with one of her friends, and said "I love you, okay? don't forget that" after making up with them. They just looked at her weirdly, making her say coldly, "oh, fuck you, man."
   In short, Kenzie is a very emotional person. You can catch her in a good mood, or in a bad one. Either way, there's nothing stopping you from loving her irrationally.

— Joshua and Kenzie met on a flight, a few months into Kenzie's career. Of course they'd met before, but this time they were alone and could converse more directly. They had both been given seats next to each other unknowingly; Kenzie sat the closest to the window. When Joshua sat down, she thought, "when I get home, I'll tell everyone I sat next to someone beautiful". They spent the next few minutes in silence, until Kenzie decided to strike up a conversation with him by asking, "where you flying to?", then realising they're flying to the same place. They managed to talk about many things, as they were both fluent in English.

—  At the beginning, Joshua acted very shy and came off as a sort of submissive person. He blushed when she complimented him, and laughed at her jokes. When she gave him her number along with the autograph, he smiled to himself and immediately began texting his bandmates about his experience.
   He found himself texting her number the next day, and during chats he openly expressed himself, beginning to act very comfortable with her. So when they met up, he felt confident and calm with her, adoring his behaviour that night. His personality didn't change much when they started dating, but he often spoke in a softer tone, and would never have anything to complain about. He recalls himself thinking that he could stare at her all day and never get bored. She made him happier, really.

—  At the beginning, Kenzie acted very charismatic, determined to get "the pretty boy" to like her. She complimented him subtly for most of the journey. She felt very proud of herself, waltzing out of the plane knowing he just gave a celebrity and labelmate her phone number. When they started talking via text, she felt a little more relaxed with him, sending him videos of the other members being dorks, and he did the same. They talked about idol life together, like the crazy diets, the performances, the fans and whatnot. When Kenzie told the other members that he was chatting with a him, they were mainly interested to know if this was real.
   When they finally met up, he ended up blushing a lot, laughing a lot and generally being a bashful lil' bean. She told him everything about the other members, how they fuck up a lot and how they act a little bit too gay sometimes. She felt like they were really connecting, and felt incredibly accomplished when at the end of the "date", when he kissed her on the cheek. When they started officially dating, she acted like her normal self, but with a lot more eyesmiles and cutesy compliments in the mornings. She seemed very determined to make the relationship work, and this would occasionally show through.
