━ [ nice. ] jinhee's nice to everyone ; everyone likes her, and are mostly friends with her, even if they aren't close. however, jinhee isn't really extroverted so if someone new arrived at the camp, she wouldn't exactly take the initiative to meet the person. instead, if she bumped into the person, she would smile and say hi, and probably start some small talk. she's comfortable talking to almost anyone, and wouldn't be awkward. despite this, she does have a close of group friends, who were the first people she met. ( could be those in the iris cabin , or some of the other slots ! you can see how the plot goes ) like i mentioned, they go around everywhere together and are practically always stuck together !

━ [ temperate. ] she's super good at self-restraint - or rather, learnt to be. even in simple things, like saving her food for later. jinhee also doesn't really have a temper. she can get annoyed, but she wouldn't get angry. she might raise the intonations of her speech, but she's still almost always smiling ( or maybe laughing ) while she speaks ! for example, she could be like " oh my godd you know jaewoo threw the coffee my brother gave him at his face " while laughing.

━ [ childhood. ] as a child, she was told she was a child of iris, the goddess of rainbows. she thought it was cool, so she told a few people at school when she was really young. however, they didn't believe her and made fun of her, saying " aww, she thinks she's the child of rainbows ! isn't that cute " sarcastically. they then spread it, and she was quickly ostracised by everyone as she grew up. she will always remember how much she wished someone had listened to her and believed her back then, which is why she believes everyone, thinking "it's a risk i can take for them". the way no one cared about what she said or believed her made her ignorant then - she grew to be indifferent to what people said. she was independent, and knew how to do most things on her own, which is why she can cook, fix things and everything in between. however, she also wouldn't listen to people, including her parents. she didn't talk to anyone at school, not because she wasn't sociable but because no one liked her. at home it wasn't much different, their family just didn't talk much to each other.
━ [ new beginning. ] in 2015, when jinhee was sixteen, her father and her went on a trip to jeju. ( you can change this to the whole family, but i kept it to her father since it would affect flower's background !) they were having a lot of fun, but jinhee noticed a pretty forest and wanted to go in, since it seemed full of interesting plants and animals. her father told her it was dangerous, but due to her ignorance, she went in any way, and her father had no choice but to follow her. suddenly a creature she never knew emerged, and they would've tried to run but they were too deep in the forest. it was the average height of a human, having the head of a dragon, the body of a lion and the tail of an alligator. fortunately, knowing she was a demigod, and due to her independence, jinhee knew how to protect herself and grabbed a log, going into combat to the best of her ability. on the contrary, her father wasn't half as proficient in this. as jinhee hit its neck with the log, he got irritated and used its tail to whack her father. due to the impact, her father was knocked out and bleeding profusely, and there was no way to seek help. after the whack, the creature lost its balance and fell, giving jinhee some time to run. rather fortunately, she noticed camp helianthus and ran into it. she would've asked them for help for her father, but she knew it would be almost impossible to find him, and by the time they got there, there was little hope. as she ran in, a few people immediately attended to her, but she couldn't respond as she was too shocked by the events that had just occurred in a flash. for the next few days, she completely remained in her cabin, trying to collect herself and process everything that had happened so far. for the week or more after that, though she would go out of her cabin, she still wouldn't talk to anyone and had a stone face, so many were scared of her. during this period, she was trying to clear her mind, and she decided she was going to start a new life, where she can make friends, where she won't be as ignorant, thus her personality completely changed. she explained why she acted that way before and apologised, hoping she didn't make people feel uncomfortable. from then on, she acts as if the past didn't happen. she tried to pay her respects on important dates, but everytime she thought about it she would feel really guilty, so for her own well-being, she decided to pretend to forget about it. she kind of feels bad to act that way, but it's for her own good. that's the reason she doesn't answer questions about her past, and people don't really know anything.

BOOMERANG was one of the few she did find good-looking, though she was a little intimidated by how cold he looked. she thought he would be someone mean, who didn't like to be around other demigods.

relationship development :
━ after jinhee arrived at camp, BOOMERANG was probably the first, if not amongst the first to help her. she was rather quiet at the start, so he would softly say a few words to her to help her in a monotone voice. she was rather taken aback, but was grateful for his help. he continued to help her slightly more, but soon she caught up, and got good at quite a few things since she has a talent for learning things fast. after a while, they kind of had like a mentoring relationship where they would help each other or go to each other if they needed help.
━ through this, they got closer and got to know each other. they were similar in the sense that she kind of wanted peace too. at first, he was also emotionless to her, but slowly, while they got close through their personal study/practice sessions, he would start to show a bit of emotions only to her ( i kind of imagine this like yohan and junho from pdx ! ). she asked him why he was so emotionless to others, and he slowly opened up to her. she'd be there to help him through all his problems, and i believe one day she'll be able to help him show his emotions more.
