Crafting Cluster Jewels

LARGE CHAOS DAMAGE CLUSTER JEWEL

Step 1
Buy any Large chaos damage jewel with maximum 8 passive points and item level from 68-78

Step 2

Use either single resonator + aberrant fossil or Harvest reforge with chaos modifiers more common, effectively the same thing

I went ingame and used 100 aberrant fossils, i got 19 good rolls

Of those 19, 6 were great(3 good notables), of those 6, 2 were literally perfect meaning they had 3 optimal notables + a resistance suffix

Notables in order of maximum dps

Suffixes
Unholy grace - pretty much the only good suffix notable

Prefixes

Wicked Pall
Misery everlasting
Touch of Cruelty
Unwaweringly Evil

Best dps combo would be Misery everlasting + Wicked Pall + Unholy Grace

I recommend that you get 1 Unwaweringly evil notable either here or on your medium chaos dot multi jewels, doesn't matter where, it's not an optimal dps notable but it prevents you from being stunned while you attack, effectively making you stun immune for boss fights and doesn't prevent you from attacking if you get stunned while mapping, you will still have a chance of being stunned while running around, however for all itnents and purposes this makes you so you can never be prevented from attacking

Any combination of above mentioned notables is very good, you could simply use anythign good at first, get a spare jewels, and use your Harvest reforges you find until you roll the min maxed version

Step 3

If your jewel has an open suffix

Option 1
Augment chaos to get either chaos resistance or small passive skills grant 1-2% increased attack speed with chaos skills

Option 2
Augment attack to get 1-2% attack speed on small passive skills

Option 3
Augment cold/fire/lightning for an elemental resistance here if you really need it

remember that this is a low item level jewel so again ANY TIER of harvest augment will do, look for cheap low tier ones

OPTIONAL STEP 4 IN CASE YOUR JEWEL DOES NOT HAVE MISERY EVERLASTING NOTABLE AND ALREADY HAS A SUFFIX

If your jewel has a suffix that's not already good Harvest craft Remove non chaos modifier add chaos modifier to get one of the above mentioned Suffixes

It is VITAL that you don't use this on a jewel with Misery Everlasting notable because it doesn't have a chaos tag and you could remove it and add a notable that does nothing

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT use non cold/fire/lightning here like on your medium clusters, it can remove your Unholy grace

Non chaos to chaos will not remove any of your notables if you don't have Misery everlasting


MEDIUM CHAOS DAMAGE OVER TIME MULTIPLIER CLUSTER JEWELS

Step 1
Get any 4-5 passive skills medium clusters with ilvl of 68-78

Step 2

Use either only aberrant fossils or Harvest reforge with chaos modifier being more common(same thing effectively)

Expected amount of tries to get a good jewel is around 6-7, expected amount of tries to get a great jewel is 15-20

Wicked Pall
Brush with death
Unwaveringly evil
Flow of life

List of good notables:
Brewed for potency
Student of decay
Eldritch Inspiration
Exposure therapy

Optimal DPS here will probably be Wicked Pall + Brush with death, however i recommend that you don't focus here solely on dps because a lot of these notable have GREAT secondary effects that i recommend to get

What i recommend to get on your build because of utility/quality of life/defense

1 Unwaweringly Evil for pseudo stun immunity, you get that either here on or Large chaos damage cluster jewel
1 Exposure therapy UNTIL you have good chaos res on gear and reach at least positive chaos res, this will make chaos degeneration, the most common source of chaos damage trivial

If you want more life you could use Flow of life for slightly less dps but a nice additional 4% life

I will personally settle for any combination of great and good notables on my first jewels and carry a spare 2-3 jewels and reforge them with harvest as i play, no need to min max these early

Small cluster jewels

There's not really a way to gurantee either Enduring composure or Feast of flesh since they share tags with other stuff that commonly rolls, simply buy these from market when you can afford, these aren't expensive, in the range of 40-50c early on and about half the price later, you can even roll them yourself in a sensible amount of alteration orbs if alts aren't expensive(they usually aren't first week but they skyrocket in price pretty fast)
