Desc: A long, prickly black shard of crystal has been lodged within Elise's right thigh. It bears a faint sense of occult to it that'd cause discomfort beyond the associated pain. Due to smaller clusters enveloping the region, it'd be difficult to remove without taking the time to break them away first. When viewed beneath the light, one would be able to spot a hint of pure blue within the crystals themselves- a sign of what had once cleansed, now being utilized solely to cause pain.

[01:40] Yamani would slowly look towards the young man. Pulling up the paper as she would smile. Slowly she would return towards the square calmly. As she would slowly hand the clipboard towards Leonard as she would slowly catch paca.

She said calmly. Revealing the contents of the clipboard to Leonard.

[01:44] Paca would draw out his wellspring waters, a flowing bed would come and take shape soon after. Slowly the waters would inch closer to the relic, before gently pulling Elise up and then onto it. Once the girl was secured, Paca would head off north unless stopped. "Any assistants are fine to follow me. But at most two will get any practical experience. Follow along now."

[01:51] Yamani looks towards the adult. A smile would be brought upon the Medic as she would proudly explain herself. "Yamani has been taught basic medical training from Paca. Cleaning, Bandaging and Basic Surgery was what she is taught.." She stated calmly.

[01:56] Paca would nod his head as he looked on towards the girl. "Alright, well first thing first, let's examine the effected area and apply some pain relief."

A small tub of Lax Essence would come from a small pack Paca kept on him. Opening it, he'd direct the children's attention to the girls right thigh. "Use your raw mana, don't influence it much. Attempt to feel the wound and what's causing it. Get as much details as you can. You want your mana to be as neutral as possible so your own mana doesn't effect the diagnosis."

Taking out a small scoop of lax, Paca would start to apply it around the crystals that were lodged in her skin. "Lax is the basic pain killer for people who don't know a magical alternative or people can't use their magical alternative due to various reasons."

[02:02] Leonard tried to keep calm and took a quick breath before he tried anything. It was something that he had never done before. Lax Essence? This was medicine he's never heard of, but he didn't want to leave Elise like that. He manned the hell up for once and looked at Elise saying one word. "Sorry..." He then shut up and started to pouring his mana out slowly, letting it hit the Lax and aid in the wound's recovery. He continued to focus as much as he could while maintaining control of his emotions so he didn't slip up and freak out.

[02:03] Leonard Mathis whispers: After this...I'll leave you alone....
[02:08] He'll put aside his own grievances with this situation to begin with in favor of trying to treat the poor girl. This was the perfect time to get some practice in, and he knew that best. It'd make up for a lot of things.

For starters, to Elise for helping him when he had returned to the academy injured. He hadn't forgotten the effort she made to help him when he was injured.

And for Paca too, to make up for the classes that he couldn't attend, though the latter of which was out of his power, it still didn't make him feel any good that he couldn't attend back then.

A veneer of mana in its purest form is administered to her leg, the boy having practiced his ability in control to a fine-tuned level that he can achieve this much.

"This is.."

Magic, but.. what's this foul sensation that he is feeling down below? He rushes to make a union, with his magic to the crystalline structure that was embeddedin, and the feeling leaves the boy feeling something sickening at his core, though it's at least faint enough to not cause him any real problems.

".. Dark magic."

The shimmering crystals that had all been constructed for the sole purpose of debilitating injury is something that he is able to notice, but now he understands what's keeping it together. Its nature, how it operates. The smaller, intricate details are something that he is assimilating an understanding of.

[02:13] Yamani would slowly Open her webbed Fingers. Her hand hovering over the woman's thigh. This time it wasn't as lax as she had wanted things to be. But this was the real thing. She had done the actual trial once before... She just needs to repeat the process...

Yamani was a different woman than she was back then.. And her mana control has grown a lot more powerfull and sensitive than beforehand. Her mana slowly seeping through her body. Slipping through her skin, Her eyelids closed, and her thoughts would be cleared as possible.

Yamani would see a picture. As slowly she would search for the wound, using small aspects of flow to find the easies route towards the wound on her thigh, Mana, seeping through the woman's leg arteries, not obstructing the flow or any movment of blood at all.

Slowly but surely she would be there at the source of the wound. Rotatng her hand to change her field of vision from left towards the right. She would locate the source.. Dying blood cells from occultic corruption, as well as a Crystal lodged inwards her body..

A breath was given towards her subjects. "A shard.. One of which is lodged deep within. Very Sharp and prickly on sides..." She stated, as she would inch her mana towards the occultic item. The dark influence bothering her vision ever so slightly..

The siren would grit her teeth, and further observe the shard even more. As she would provide another important piece of information. "Yamani sees prickles don't start from puncture point. Medics must be careful to not remove crystal Abruptly to not make more cuts." She stated. Slowly looking towards the Medical teacher.

[02:15] As the operation continued and he poured his mana into the wound to help it, the second he felt the power of dark magic his face took on one of complete fear. His eyes were white and he was shaking slightly as he continued to help as much as he could. "But I'm not a medic...I'm just a....." He stopped and started to freak out which made his mana start to fade in and out stopping and resuming the healing process.

[02:18] Rhesus looks over to Leonard, frowning. The way he was conducting himself would've been fine with him, if he wasn't standing where he was and doing what he was.

"If you're going to be shivering off to the side like that, stand aside. A patient doesn't do good from the person operating on her being afraid, too. If you really want to help, then calm down."

[02:20] Leonard looked towards Elise still fearful his last conversation with her. He was still suffering from that, but he took a breath and released the air he had collected and started to calm down returning to his neutral face. He was back to his empty state and as for his mana, back to full power, pouring mana into the wound slowly and keeping focused on it.

"Thanks... I needed that wake up call.." He said as he continued to focus, looking at Rhesus smiling softly and then returning to his neutral face going back to serious focus.

[02:22] "Good job guys." Paca would say with a nod. "And don't be too afraid of the darkness you felt. Rhesus is right. As a medic you need to remain calm and in charge of the situation. It's just occult magic. Sinister stuff, turns the user crazy. But as a medic you're healing wounds like this all the time." Giving a final nod, Paca would look to the students.

"Alright quick question kids. When you use a magic spell. It doesn't last forever does it? If a Fire Magi shoots a fireball, the fireball doesn't fly off forever does it? So why is it that these crystals lodged in her thighs are remaining whole for so long? Don't answer the question. Just think about it for a moment."

Paca would then do a small demonstration. A small puddle of water would form from Paca's mana before he shot it to the opposite wall. It wasn't long before the water was completely evaporated into the air.

"From my knowledge and practice, the cause is simple. It's using the patients own mana to sustain itself."

Paca would pull out a marker, he'd make six circles the size of a baseball in the area around the girl's thigh. Each circle would have a letter drawn on them, two with a Y, two with an R, two with an L.

"This wound is only a minor wound. It's not deeply rooted into Elise's mana circuit. Over time, Elise's body would fight off the crystals and she'd heal completely. But as a magi medic, we don't settle for second best. We're going to heal her up completely right now."

"I've circled 6 mana pressure points around the wound. I want all of you to focus your mana on the pressure point labelled with your letter. From there, locate the mana flow that is being drawn to the crystals and fight it and block it from receiving any more mana."

[02:35] "Sounds simple enough," he said.

The area of the wound perhaps wasn't as lethal as his own run-in, but it's laced with something that he can only imagine would cause great discomfort beyond the main area of affliction, and he understands that well. He had a part to play in that instance.

Once again do his fingers find themselves spun in his mana. Better control, but it could be even better he and other teachers would argue. Still, progress was being made, and he was pleased.

Enough to do a task that requires as much precision as this at least.

The areas that are lined with his label are flanked on either side, and he nods his head to Paca.

"The mana flow.."

His eyes zero in now, and he bears witness to the traces of occultism that pulsed, ephemeral and thin to almost invisible to the naked eye, but something that he's able to see nonetheless.

His pupils seem to dilate.

Concurrent with his sudden zone of focus, he lines a zip of his mana to each respective point where Elise's mana was flowing to the crystal. He effectively wards it off. The resulting sequence is one where his cluster of clumped up crystals lose their energy source like a faulty battery.

[02:41] Leonard had never done any of this before. It was all too new to him, but... When he was alone did...No he d-....No...Not those memories. He was slowly drifting back to when he was a child remembering the past that he wish he could forget. His mind started to warp once again and as it was doing so his emotions started to freak out again. He became afraid again, though surprising while he was in the state of panic he was still able to keep his mana flowing.

The memories started to pour in and it was like he was being sucked into a dark place, that caused him to start to slip in and out of consciousness, but he had to stay strong, not only for his classmate's sake but for his friend's sake as well. He took a breath once more and started to calm down though it took a bit longer and it made him had to remember things. He slowly drifted into his own mind and started to remember different things. Skipping most of it he found the memory he was looking for.

When hewas forced to read those books on the human body. He was learning how to find the mana that would flow to the body and where it went. How it all worked it was drilled into him whether he liked it or not.

Slowly he began to focus on the areas that where the points of mana would connect and then pushed his own mana into it. As he did so he could feel how strong Elise was and how hard she worked. All of it was slowly kicking into his mind, but he couldn't stop and admire that now. He had to help her even if he was inexperienced. He envisioned the mana network within her body as if it were one giant maze.

It was strange but it was like he was walking around inside of the areas marked for him. He continued onward inside of that scape and found the areas where the crystals weak points were, but it wasn't going to be an easy task. It was like he was fighting two battles at the same time and had to beat them to get them to back off.

As he was trying to fightit off, with each attack dealt to him from within that mana scape it felt like he was taking the damage as well. It hurt, but he grit his teeth and focused onward, pushing back the crystal's power enough and putting up a blockage where it was trying to suck out the mana. He slowly started to open his eyes as he looked at where Paca had marked and noticed that both streams of mana he was sending stopped at the complete opposite direction from each other.

"Dammit....That was something I didn't want to go through..."

[02:43] Yamani would slowly nod towards the instructions that were given towards her. She needed to prepare herself for the situation that they were in, but she had certainly not failed to treat even herself when the time was calling for it. Her emotions need to be swift, and determined when operating on a patient.

"Yamani understands. Patient should not feel worried or have to second guess their trust in a medic." she said firmly. As the young woman would slowly nod towards Rheyseus and Leonard. "Yamani is also counting on the both of you." She also stated, before Paca gave her a question..

For her, she was able to understand a lot more. She stated, as she looked towards the young woman once more.. When she had traveled within her body, she could still feel her living presence with her own mana..

She thought. As she slowly continued to see theresults of the training Recognizing similar pressure points to the similar aspects that Paca had spoken to her about earlier. Yamani would extend her fingers to each side and pressure points.

Yamani would first use her mana to see the exact point where the Mana of darkness was being siphoned, her closed sight slowly seeing to mana brackets covered with dark influence as it flows within the circuit maliciously.

Now that Yamani had found the wound, Her mana would then sense the focusing point with the influx amount of mana within. For her thoughts, it was much better for her to Measure twice, and cut once. "Clear." She calmly uttered as she would swiftly charge her mana, as she was very certain that the strength of her mana was enough to sever the connection, witout damaging anything important.

Mana flow was directly pressurized and fired at her targer, severing the damaging amount of Occutling influence from her body. The last of the pressure points were finally accounted for. As the dark leylines would completely severed instantly.

[02:46] Elise definitely felt like she was on display; in the past, she had been the one operating- multiple times, in fact, whereas now she was the one being treated. Even so, she doesn't really speak. She didn't know how proficient any of these people would be and didn't want to risk them becoming distracted.

"Thanks, all of you.." She'd say. There's a look given to Rhesus, who she's facing, and only a look of acknowledgement toward Leonard and Yamani as they moved to purge the mana.

"I don't think it's necessarily of the occult. It's more of a malicious variant of crystal magic.."

Even now, she stays quiet; trying not to speak and allowing them to continue despite the pain.

[03:06] Paca would nod his head at what Elise had to say as he let out a small relieved sigh. To hear that Celicia hadn't managed to push herself towards the occult fully yet gave him relief. But it was clear the woman was hurting. Shaking thoughts of the former priest out, Paca would look to Elise. "Alright well relax for now Elise. You'll be fine in no time at all."

Paca would then inspect the children's work. Paca's face wouldn't change from his satisfied look as he went and let his mana flow around towards the pressure points to see how they did.

"Seems that you're the one who felt exhaustion and fatigue the most right Leonard?" He'd ask the boy once his inspection was over. "One important thing to note about being a magi-medic is that our energy is our most precious resource. Doing an operation can feel like you just spent the whole day fishing or mining or farming. It's extremely tiring and exhausting, so one important technique you will need to master is how to use up as little energy as you can."

Turning to all three now, Paca would add. "Fighting mana yourself might exhaust you. But remember that Elise's body herself is also fighting it. One trick I use is to match the patients mana flow. Just subtlety reinforce it to speed up the natural response of the patient. You might have your own way, but keep in mind try to conserve as much energy as you can."

Paca would wait a few moments for the crystals to die out and lose power. From there he'd inspect the wound. "Now we're dealing with a basic puncture wound, well basic enough for a medic. The area around the wound is slightly corrupted if not dead thanks to the sinister nature of the crystals."

Mana would come out of Paca's hands before it shifted towards the wellspring waters Paca was so strong at. It would slowly enter the wound before it began to churn. Dark bits of flesh that was corrupted or dead would come undone. There would be very little bleeding as Paca used his magic to clean the area. The wellspring waters would block off the bloodflow from leaking out. Once done, there would be raw pink-red flesh where the crystals were once lodged.

"Treating a puncture wound is simple. It's like most other wounds. Clean the flesh of any dead flesh and dirt. Stich up the wound. Use your mana to speed up the bodies regenerative properties so that the wound heals. And then done."

Turning to the group he'd look to Rhesus first. "Rhesus, you've practiced suturing right? Close up the wounds." Paca would pull out a curved needle towards the man to use. "Yamani and Leonard, use your mana to heal up the wound from the mana pressure point I assigned you. Rhesus once you're done stitching, do the same from yours."

[03:12] "Elise, this may sting a bit. If you need something to bite, now's the time to find it," he warns.

Yes, it may not be lethal, but it doesn't mean it's anything pleasant or should be taken lightly. He'd have to stitch it up, and he can't imagine that'd feel any good when she's as awake as she is.

Either way, the needle is taken, and now he knew it was time to put what practice and study he'd done outside of any real procedures to good use.

The skin that was flayed is brought together, the steraks of string meeting union with one side of flesh to the other, binding them together, little by little. He is painstakingly careful with how he goes about this.

One wrong slip-up, and he could end up cutting her and causing an even worse time.

His needle treads and treads from bottom to top, and he snips the binding to seal it in place.

[03:12] Leonard shakes his head at Paca's question and decided to keep his mouth shut about the experience. He listened to what the instructor told him to do and started to pour his mana into the pressure points he was assigned. He closed his eyes and focused back onto the mana network once more and then felt the wound slowly start to heal, though his own body was partly in pain. He continued following the instructions given to him and focused on healing her. Though he did have a look of sadness in his eyes, he was just helping like he should.

[03:26] The Sirennian would slowly have a deep breath. The Occultic influences were still more than aware at this point, but they weren't out of the heat yet. They needed it almost done. The young woman would slowly use the mana that she had already present to start her operation.

Slowly she would enhance her healing ability Conjuring a small amount of mana in her points of pressure.. Healing a brave portion of her body. She was the last bit to finish up. And so she would take the responsibility of fully recovering the woman.

The ethereal mana would slowly interact with the wound. Accelerating cell growth ever so slightly. The lasts of the wound would slowly recover as the skin would refresh itself... Pieces of skin would slowly attack itself. Allowing the sutures to its job and keep it held together.

Her mana would swiftly recover her body. Though she would do one more thing before she had truly finished. "Yamani will use mana to check area once more." spoke, as she would use her mana to analyse the body and mana circuits from head to toe.

Oddly enough however, Yamani found a small relvalation in her abilities, as small amounts of Ichor would be attracted towards her mana, perhaps putting a little to much focus. However, Yamani wouldn't stop. Infact now using the mana to Circulate the blood a little more after. Clearing out new old dead blood cells for new ones to recover.. And keeping the blood from spilling outwards as well.

"Mmm... Yamani found and answer."

She stated, As she slowly let go of her patient. Expecting a full fledged recovery, but with the need to recover stamina

"Yamani insists you rest after." She said as she looked towards paca calmly. "Yamani doesn't think she is meant for Wellspring OR wind." she said towards him. "But blood." She stated reassuringly.
