  1. PSIONIC ENERGY is the major type of 'magic' in Ingenseria. For all intents and purposes, instances of magic are replaced by psionic energy produced by many different kinds of beings. Whether derived from within oneself, from an implant, a bonded companion, a weapon, psionic energy is the usual means by which supernatural things occur in this universe.

Although all classes are reflavored as utilizing some kind of psionic energy, any species, even if it is nonpsionic, can be any class as per usual; this is simply explained by the use of an outside source, like an implant, bonded organic device, or other source of energy that they can use. However, only some species get a type of psionics inherent to themselves; most have only one or a few types available, but the Iyalu and Lyxaris are flexible in having access to all types of attunement. If your chosen race has a small range listed, you may pick one out of the range.

  5. These psions effectively get a secondary base of powers in addition to their class features. They get access to abilities on a per-level basis, rather than a choice of powers, that they can cast at any time as long as they have enough power points.

  7. Psionic races that only get one kind of psionics have their effective manifester level for powers related to their type increased by 1. Psionic races that take a Psionic class, instead of gaining the power points provided by basic psionics, are granted +1 bonus power point per level. For basic psionic abilities, your Manifester level is equal to your hit dice.

  9. All psionic races start with a base pool of 2, and get Bonus Points as per their highest mental score unless they are playing a psionic class, in which case their bonus points are decided by the key ability modifier of their class instead.

  11. Creatures listed with the Psionic qualifier are considered psionically reliant, and take damage from antipsionic (including anything considered ‘antimagic’) effects. These creatures take 1d4 damage from such effects, taking this damage on a per-round basis if they are affected by a persistent effect (like an antipsionic field). If their psionics are completely disrupted by some effect, these creatures must make a Fortitude save to avoid being knocked unconscious.

  51. You can quell a medium flame within 30ft of you by spending a standard action. You may manifest Ray of Frost at will, and spend a power point to cause it to halve a target’s move speed for 1d4 rounds if they fail a Fortitude save. You, additionally, never treat ice as difficult terrain.

  61. Electrokinetic energy is associated with electric damage.

  65. You can spend a standard action to focus, detecting the flow of electricity. As a standard action, you may make a Knowledge (Engineering) check, even if you are untrained, to attempt to shut off the electricity to a basic device within 30ft; the DC varies depending on the complexity of the device. The device must be static, like a powered door, halted elevator or scanning device; some devices are too complex for this power to work, and it instantly fails. This ability costs 1 power point, but the cost is negated on a critical success. If you have previously cut power to a device, you can restore power to it as a move action. This lasts for 1 minute/level.

  75. Extrasensory psionics usually only deal small amounts of nonlethal damage, and is more commonly associated with other effects that disrupt sensory abilities.

  78. You pick up on things that others don’t; you get a +2 competence bonus to Perception and Sense Motive. You may expend one power point to grant yourself a stacking +2 bonus to Initiative, up to a maximum of +4, that lasts until the next time you roll Initiative.

  81. Tapping in to the connection with the Bulb that all beings inherently possess, you may manifest Augury as a psionic power costing 3 points.

  108. If you focus, you detect extremely shallow surface thoughts and impressions, far too shallow to make any strong conclusions about and yet just enough to inform interactions slightly. When you are not in combat or otherwise rushed you gain a +2 enhancement bonus to Sense Motive and Diplomacy checks. Additionally, you may manifest Memory Lapse as a psionic ability for 2 power points.

This does not grant any kind of concealment; it simply makes lighting a bit more favorable. You may also manifest Dancing Darkness for 2 power points or Light for 1 power point.

  136. You gain Detect Psionics at will. You are better at resisting psionic effects than others; your saves against psionic effects are increased by +1. You add Bestow Power to your list of powers known.

  139. You add Feat Leech to your list of powers known. You may use Access Power—this ability allows you to, once a day, touch a target and force a will save (DC 10+½ lvl+key modifier). If they fail, you ‘steal’ a power of your choice that they know. If they succeed, you instead steal a random power. The power you steal must be equal or less than your maximum power level known. The target is not affected in any way by this power. Until the next time you rest, you have access to this ability and may manifest it as normal.

  164. Your body, although not possessing strong, usable psionics, is instead invigorated with a potent flow of unattuned energies that help you in general. These energies are especially devastating in psionic weapons; when you use a psionic weapon that uses your energy for ammunition, the damage dice for that weapon is increased by one step and you gain a +1 bonus to attack rolls with it. You may use Enhance Ability once per day.

  167. ENDURE: You gain Ferocity as a special ability and a +2 bonus to checks to Stabilize while dying.

  183. You may manifest Sonic Scream as a psionic power with a cost of 3 power points.

  190. If you don’t otherwise move during a round, you may take an additional 5-foot step. You may manifest Lead Blades or Gravity Bow as a psionic power costing 2 points.

  192. == LV 4 ==
  193. By spending 2 power points, you can make a combat maneuver check against any one foe within 30 feet. This ability cannot be used to grapple or pin.

  196. You may add Fold Space to your list of powers known. If you travel a distance equal or less than half of the maximum range of Fold Space, its power point cost is halved.
