  1. <-- Finally awake at the same time as Tikki and Luce, a miracle, truly! ...alas I failed to look at everyone :')
  2. You follow Tikki south to Golden Serenity Teahouse.
  3. Golden Serenity Teahouse.
  4. Banks of clouds roil about here. The fragrant aromas of herbs, spices, and brewing tea, and the rich redolence of wood and paper permeate this cosy, perfectly square chamber. Overhead, a graceful dome of vivid citrine-coloured crystal filters incoming light into a warm, welcoming golden glow. The shop's honey-hued teak walls are polished to a smooth, satiny sheen that accentuates the exotic wood's sinuous, swirling grain, in contrast to the unobtrusive mats of tightly woven fibres underfoot, which muffle footsteps and lend an air of meditative tranquility to the space. To the right of the entrance, an orderly row of tidy wooden shelves and beryl-hewn display cases host a variety of finely crafted cups and bottles, as well as a small selection of culinary goods. Beyond them, criss-crossing along the entire western wall, beams of umber mahogany form a precise diamond-shaped lattice, which supports an assortment of bright, jewel-wrought tea kegs and ceramic canisters of loose-leaf teas. Sparkling like crystalline flowers in bloom, the dazzling array of kegs displays their colourful craftsmanship to full advantage while safeguarding their delicate contents. A small seating area occupies the space to the left of the entrance, surrounded by fragrant cedar folding screens. Inlaid with monochrome paper panels depicting a strikingly serene, windswept mountain landscape, the screens enclose an area just large enough to comfortably accommodate two for tea while maintaining an intimate sense of privacy. Occupying a perfectly circular glass-topped depression in the centre of the floor, a mandala of brightly coloured sand blossoms with stunning intricacy in every hue. Meticulous whorls, painstaking flourishes, and exacting symmetries coalesce into a many-layered lotus, its petals reaching in each of the cardinal directions to form a poignant symbol of balance and peace. An unassuming cedar tea table rests here, a humble exemplar of balance and utility. There are 4 low, cushioned chairs of beryl-hued cedar here. A tulip-shaped sconce of golden beryl blossoms here upon the wall. A painting of Tosha the Meditative serving tea beneath a cherry tree is proudly exhibited on a nearby wall, with an inscription on a plaque on its frame. Only visible when focused on, Kaiyo the lucid dream stands here majestically. A slender leothin sits here motionless, brightening its surroundings with its natural golden bio-luminescence. Kosuke, the cloud-bound Long is here, floating majestically. Paint pools in kaleidoscopic arrays at the feet of the riotously colored dog standing here. Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters with an Unknown face lingers nearby, the air about him singing with the rush of the ocean. He wields a dazzling white staff crowned by a platinum pearl in his left hand. Luce has a look of comprehension here. He wields a delicate crystal staff in his left hand and a functional steel spatula in his right hand. Daraius is here, contemplating something. Tikki is here, pondering thoughtfully. He wields a sticky spatula of Solstice peppermint in his left hand and a starry bird of paradise lute in his right hand. You see a sign here instructing you that WARES is the command to see what is for sale.
  5. You see exits leading north and down (closed door).
  6.
  7. Tikki blinks.
  8.
  9. Luce blinks.
  10.
  11. You have emoted: Gurashi looks about curiously, tail wagging, then stopping.
  12.
  13. Luce bows respectfully to Daraius.
  14.
  15. You blink.
  16.
  17. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say, "Oh!"
  18.
  19. You point accusingly at Daraius.
  20.
  21. Excitedly, you exclaim, "It is he!"
  22.
  23. LOOKIT DARAIUS
  24. A flurry of effervescent golden motes draws your gaze to the effulgent figure of Lord Daraius Shevat, who radiates warmth and peace in his stately bearing and posture of practiced poise. From the perfectly manicured claws of his bare digitigrade feet to the tops of his floppy-tipped triangular ears, he easily stands at four meters, his unblinking burnished gold eyes observing the world below with placid benevolence from behind the lenses of a thin pair of spectacles. A pelt of immaculately groomed berylline fur covers his athletic frame, lightening to creamy shades of white in a broad swath from chin to chest, and along his inner arms. Silky and lustrous as though never marred by even the suggestion of dirt or debris, his coat flutters gently as if buffeted by a constant, sourceless sigh of a breeze. Pinpoints of soothing light seem to gather as dew at the ends of each strand, golden glowing droplets shed with the man's every controlled, graceful movement. Before dispersing like wayward fireflies, the dense cloud of dazzling motes left in his wake is stirred by the tranquil wagging of his white-tipped tail, which sways incessantly to an impossibly slow and regular rhythm. Meanwhile, wisps of ka-infused color dance sporadically about his body, wending smokelike throughout his fur, the misty colors crystallizing periodically into transient images seemingly tattooed on air. Interlocking chains of monochrome lotus blossoms encircle his wrists; a spray of starlit silver feathers flutters along his arms; the wingtips of a beryl aerial reach up his neck to caress his jaw. He is a ferocious loboshigaru berylline vernal demigod, indeed, though despite his enormous stature, his presence is somehow rarefied and indistinct, his every gesture, glance, and movement a lesson in and testament to benign serenity. Tattooed on his chest is an illustration of a glorious beryl aerial with wings outstretched.
  25. He is wearing:
  26. a pair of thin spectacles perched on the bridge of his muzzle,
  27. a twining wolves wedding band around the ring finger of his left paw,
  28. an engraved ring of gold and beryl upon the ring finger of his right.
  29.
  30. Tikki beams broadly at Daraius.
  31.
  32. Daraius looks up placidly at the large crowd entering.
  33.
  34. Daraius Shevat says, "Good afternoon, dear family and guests."
  35.
  36. You have emoted: Gurashi's tail wags wildly, hands clasped together. "Good afternoon, sir!"
  37.
  38. Tikki says, "An unexpected but most welcome surprise, good evening, Daraius!"
  39.
  40. Dipping his muzzle, Daraius Shevat says, "Apologies. I was tending to my taxes and annual rituals, and decided to stay and refresh some of my companion's training."
  41.
  42. Daraius Shevat asks Tikki, "Should I vacate for your party?"
  43.
  44. A Hallifaxian painted dog slinks over to Luce and sniffs around his paws for treats.
  45.
  46. Tikki says to Daraius, "No no, not at all, you're always welcome. We had just been meaning to get together for tea and it so happened that today worked out the best for that."
  47.
  48. You have emoted: Gurashi smiles, looking to Tikki and Luce, then Tridemon. "I do not mind," They whisper.
  49.
  50. Tail thumping excitedly and eager to include him, Jade Dreamer Luce Shevat says to Daraius, "You missed an arts exhibition. Both Tikki and I submitted."
  51.
  52. "Oh?" Daraius exclaims quizzically.
  53.
  54. You have emoted: Gurashi wiggles, looking up at Tridemon again, tentatively grasping for the lucidian's hand. "Ah! Yeah! The art exhibit was wonderful! I bid on two of thems!" They chime. "It is a very goodly exhibits."
  55.
  56. Daraius Shevat says, "My pup Aethen mentioned such a thing. I'm very glad to hear my tradition continued."
  57.
  58. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say, "Oh! Mister Aethen..."
  59.
  60. You think to yourself: *acknowledging they just saw the other lucidian not a day before*.
  61.
  62. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says to Daraius, "Been a long time since I've seen you about. I think it's more than fifty years since we've been face to face, in any case."
  63.
  64. You face lights up as you smile brightly at Tridemon.
  65.
  66. Daraius nods his head at Tridemon, showing his acceptance.
  67.
  68. Tikki nods his head with a bright smile. "It was the first time that I had ever painted, so I was quite nervous, but pleased that people seemed to like it well enough!"
  69.
  70. You have emoted: Gurashi's tail wags happily behind them.
  71.
  72. Daraius Shevat asks Tridemon, "How is your arm?"
  73.
  74. Bizirik, the leothin sniffs a Hallifaxian painted dog, trying to decipher just what that smell emanating from him is.
  75.
  76. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Oh, it's gotten far better, yes."
  77.
  78. A Hallifaxian painted dog licks Bizirik, the leothin's nose, leaving a streak of orange paint on it.
  79.
  80. Daraius's eyes sparkle behind the lenses of his spectacles.
  81.
  82. You have emoted: Gurashi smiles at Tikki dazedly as he speaks about his painting, looking quite happy for the furrikin before turning their attention back to Daraius and Tridemon, head canting to the side.
  83.
  84. Tridemon squints slightly at Daraius, pausing. "... didn't you used to wear... clothing."
  85.
  86. Bizirik, the leothin shakes out its entire head, snorting loudly as it is licked. Then, it sits there, looking quite perplexed, uncertain what to do with the paint left behind.
  87.
  88. Bizirik, the leothin chirps happily.
  89.
  90. Tikki thinks to himself: It's so wonderful seeing Daraius awake. Could timing have been any better? Golly.
  91.
  92. Looking over himself unperturbed, Daraius Shevat says, "When I had a body that was not primarily composed of golden motes of essence, yes. At this point fashion seems superfluous."
  93.
  94. Daraius gestures to the four available seats. "Please, make yourselves comfortable," he says warmly. "If my presence will not be a distraction, I do think some company would be healthy for me."
  95.
  96. Tikki says, "It's much easier to hide one's modesty when your body's all...motey."
  97.
  98. You have emoted: Gurashi had been either oblivious or politely unobservant to the fact until Tridemon announced it, causing the sileni's attention to return fully to Dara. Then, they blush and turn away sharply, reaching out for Bizirik, the leothin to help wipe the creature's face clean. It continues to sit there looking perplexed even as the sileni cleans it off, staring at the colorful paint dog opposite it.
  99.
  100. Shyly, you say, "Yes! Yes, I am, ah - give me... point me a seat, I will sits in it."
  101.
  102. Daraius's extended paw continues to indicate four perfectly suitable seats as he regards you bemusedly.
  103.
  104. You have emoted: Gurashi picks a spot and settles into it, tucking their hands immediately into their lap after. "I loves this place," They whisper, ears twitching in tandem as they look around. "So happy could finally makes it."
  105.
  106. Kaiyo, the lucid Dream says, "If't serves as an expression of thy self and thy taste, we could make an exception for superfluosity."
  107.
  108. Tridemon settles into a seat immediately next to you.
  109.
  110. Luce blinks.
  111.
  112. Jade Dreamer Luce Shevat says to Kaiyo, the lucid Dream, "You made that word up."
  113.
  114. Happily, you say, "Super-flososity..."
  115.
  116. Daraius Shevat says to Kaiyo, the lucid Dream, "I'm untroubled, thank you."
  117.
  118. You have emoted: Gurashi looks to the lucidian that joins them, face brightening once more, tail wagging.
  119.
  120. Tikki chuckles softly and smiles between you, Tridemon, and Luce. "I'll gladly cover refreshments, is there any tea in particular you all would prefer?"
  121.
  122. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say, "Oh!"
  123.
  124. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say, "Oohhhh! Uhmmmm."
  125.
  126. Cupping their face, you say, "I remember the last times that was here let the hosts pick FOR me, yes."
  127.
  128. Shyly, you say, "I do not know, there are so many tasty sounding ones..."
  129.
  130. Perking up, you say to Tikki, "Pick me one? I trusts you!"
  131.
  132. Daraius beckons a Hallifaxian painted dog to his side and motions for him to sit.
  133.
  134. A Hallifaxian painted dog sits politely next to Daraius at a simple tea table of beryl-hued cedar, looking quite prim and proper despite periodically dripping viscous globs of paint on the floor.
  135.
  136. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "I have absolutely no preference one way or another."
  137.
  138. Gently, Daraius Shevat says, "It pleases me to no end that this is still a place of peace and comfort for those who gather to enjoy each others' company."
  139.
  140. You have emoted: Gurashi wiggles in their seat happily, watching the dog join Daraius, hands clenched tightly in their lap as they look about at their companions. "It really is!" They bleat happily. "A wonderful place! It is warm and inviting and makes you so comfortables that forget are so very high up." THey pause, reminding themselves of this fact, staring off for a time.
  141.
  142. You shake your head.
  143.
  144. Tikki nods his head as he gathers up a selection of teacups. "Understood! Luce dear, how about you?"
  145.
  146. You have emoted: Gurashi looks down at their lap, shifting. "A goodly teahouses."
  147.
  148. You tilt your head and listen intently to Luce.
  149.
  150. You look at Tridemon hopefully.
  151.
  152. Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters thinks to himself: Never thought much about tea. ... I'd have been a terrible Hallifaxian a century or two back. Real revival of that sort of thing if I recall correctly.
  153.
  154. Jade Dreamer Luce Shevat says, "I trust you as well, dear."
  155.
  156. You think to yourself: *a ripple of pink and gold, an aura of color outlining the lucidian beside them - unspoken joy and delight at his presence - the sound of clinking cups and smells of aromatic drinks draws them back to the present again, out of their colorful internal reverie*.
  157.
  158. You hum softly to yourself.
  159.
  160. A low, contented growl arises within Daraius's chest.
  161.
  162. Crimson and carmine streaks across a Hallifaxian painted dog coat, staining it a grisly blood red.
  163.
  164. Daraius's whiskers droop slightly as a soft, disconcerted growl rumbles in his chest.
  165.
  166. A Hallifaxian painted dog gobbles up the treat and sniffs around for more.
  167.
  168. Daraius Shevat says to a Hallifaxian painted dog, "That is incorrect."
  169.
  170. It is now the 10th of Urlachmar, 595 years after the Coming of Estarra.
  171. There are 26 days until the New Moon
  172.
  173. Tikki ponders the situation.
  174.
  175. You tilt your head curiously.
  176.
  177. Apologetically, Daraius Shevat says, "I woke without memory of any of my training or mnemonics, and poor Loophole seems to have suffered similarly. We were working on rebuilding his repertoire."
  178.
  179. Tikki says to Daraius, "I know it's your teahouse, but I'd feel rude not asking. Would you like some tea as well? And if so, any particular kind?"
  180.
  181. With a nod, Daraius Shevat says to Tikki, "Golden aubade, if you please."
  182.
  183. Tikki nods his head emphatically.
  184.
  185. You have emoted: Gurashi's ears twitch again, and they watch a Hallifaxian painted dog now, tail wagging rapidly behind them.
  186.
  187. Daraius gives a gold tincture to you.
  188.
  189. Daraius Shevat says to you, "He quite enjoys tints."
  190.
  191. Comprehension flashes across Tikki's face.
  192.
  193. You have emoted: Gurashi quickly lifts a hand to accept the tint, face lighting up once more. "Oh! It is a snacky snack?" They ask, turning to a Hallifaxian painted dog again. "I have just the things for you, friend!"
  194.
  195. A Hallifaxian painted dog abruptly turns towards you, still seated, his rapidly wagging tail smearing a muddy rainbow on the floor under him.
  196.
  197. With a gentle underhand toss, you give a gold tincture to a Hallifaxian painted dog.
  198. A Hallifaxian painted dog sloppily gobbles down the gold tincture and romps playfully around the room as waves of aureate color ripple across his pelt, paint splashing like molten gold in his wake with every bound.
  199.
  200. You hands fly to your mouth as you give a short gasp of elation.
  201.
  202. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say, "Aaaaaaaaaaaaa!"
  203.
  204. A low, contented growl arises within Daraius's chest.
  205.
  206. You have emoted: Gurashi folds their hands at their chest, wide-eyed. "Puppy! What a cute puppy!" They hold out their hand for a Hallifaxian painted dog to sniff. "I forgot how cute you were! Are!" They giggle wildly. "I will not ruin your appetites with tints!"
  207.
  208. You fret over everything that might go wrong.
  209.
  210. You beam broadly at Tikki.
  211.
  212. Tikki says, "I'm afraid I don't actually have any golden aubade, I would have to scurry and brew some but I'm out of tea leaves."
  213.
  214. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you ask Tikki, "What kinda leaves?"
  215.

  230.
  231. You have emoted: Gurashi wiggles in their spot, withdrawing their hand from the dog after they've passed off the paint, wiping traces of gold on their pants before hiding that under their tunic.
  232.
  233. Tikki says, "Here I am trying to play host and doing poorly at it, hehe. I'll have to get more practice."
  234.
  235. Daraius returns to his seat on the floor next to a simple tea table of beryl-hued cedar and resumes his placid position.
  236.
  237. Daraius settles to the ground in a cross-legged position, inhaling deeply. As he brings his hands up to rest open-palmed at either side, he exhales, all tension leaving his body.
  238.
  239. The sound of quiet, muffled conversation drifts through the air.
  240.
  241. Daraius Shevat says to Tikki, "Not so. You would have merely had to marry my great grandpup to have seen where I kept the golden aubade."
  242.
  243. Warmly, you say to Tikki, "Am just happy to be here."
  244.
  245. Luce coughs softly.
  246.

  348. Tikki says to you, "As for a location, we've not settled on one just yet. Given that we want to make it open to anyone, we want to make sure it's somewhere that anyone can come to. We were considering making an area in the Daydream for it as one option."
  349.
  350. You have emoted: Gurashi squishes the purple tint in their hand a little before delivering it too to a Hallifaxian painted dog with the hand that was previously petting him.
  351.
  352. You give a purple tincture to a Hallifaxian painted dog.
  353. A Hallifaxian painted dog daintily swallows the tincture and assumes a regal bearing as a shroud of royal violet falls about his coat, dappled with breaths of lilac and lavender.
  354.
  355. Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters thinks to himself: I wonder if Luce and Tikki have eaten in the past year or two.
  356.
  357. Tridemon sips black tea from a cherry blossom tea cup.
  358.
  359. Daraius Shevat says to a Hallifaxian painted dog, "Have you had quite enough?"
  360.
  361. A Hallifaxian painted dog stares implacably at Daraius.
  362.
  363. You have emoted: Gurashi looks at their colorful hand, giggling wildly as a Hallifaxian painted dog changes again before them. "A place that anyone can go to!" They bleat out happily. "That is our plan too! Ah, but if you makes a place in your MANSE ... then you can make whatevers you WANT."
  364.
  365. You boggle at Tikki.
  366.
  367. Kaiyo, the lucid Dream shakes her mane, dislodging a mote that transforms into a bowl of shrimp gumbo that descends to rest in front of Bizirik, the leothin. <-- RIP I missed this
  368.
  369. Tikki nods his head excitedly. "Precisely! There's still logistics to figure out for that between now and then of course, but I do enjoy the idea of it being somewhere in the dream fields."
  370.
  371. Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters thinks to himself: Isle on the inner sea. Was once the Even-Bladed's godrealm.
  372.
  373. Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters thinks to himself: Well, the entrance...
  374.
  375. You face lights up as you smile brightly at Tikki.
  376.
  377. A Hallifaxian painted dog settles down and rests his head in your lap, purple paint pooling beneath him as he reposes contentedly. His tail thumps lazily every now and then, wetly splashing droplets of color behind him.
  378.
  379. Tikki says, "Oh, speaking of the Daydream though."
  380.
  381. Jade Dreamer Luce Shevat says, "We need an officiant, still, before we can work out dates. And I'm still trying to dredge up an idea for invitations."
  382.
  383. Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters thinks to himself: ... Maybe sneak into Lord Charune's realm for a wedding if there weren't any Divines invited.
  384.
  385. Tikki turns to Tridemon and smiles. "I'm not sure if Gurashi's mentioned much about the Daydream before, but there's a room there I made that I'd like to get your thoughts on sometime. Doesn't have to be soon, of course. Just wanted to mention it."
  386.
  387. You have emoted: Gurashi turns their attention fully to Loophole at this, staring as their white trousers quickly become multicolored. They seem unbothered, however, reaching down to affectionately cup and squish and scritch a Hallifaxian painted dog's face and ears as he sits there, giggling.
  388.
  389. Dreamily, you say, "If the weddings was in your dream fieldies then yes - anything that you want... anythings you could even dream...."
  390.
  391. You think to yourself: *a curious thrum, the towering trees, the sound of the birds - Mister Lord Charune's realm ...?*.
  392.
  393. You tilt your head and listen intently to Tridemon.
  394.
  395. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say to Luce, "An officiates!"
  396.
  397. You ponder the situation.
  398.
  399. Puffing their cheeks, you say, "What did haves in minds for invitations? Or..." They pause. "Do not have ideas, is the problems...."
  400.
  401. A shifting, living poppy of ruby petals shimmers and shines as its petals crystallise in a brilliant display of light.
  402.
  403. Tikki sips black tea from a cherry blossom tea cup.
  404.
  405. Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters thinks to himself: *A sudden thought of a joyously frolicking elephant*.
  406.
  407. With some hesitation, his expression carefully neutral, Daraius Shevat says, "You are both, ah, members of Crumkane's order, yes?"
  408.
  409. Tikki says, "Luce was working on the invites last I checked, so I'm-Oh, ah, we are yes."
  410.
  411. A warm, honeyed glow emanates from a golden beryl sconce sculpted into a tulip blossom, evoking afternoon sunlight on a spring day.
  412.
  413. You have emoted: Gurashi looks down at their lap, quiet and thoughtfully observing the paint, making sure a Hallifaxian painted dog feels plenty loved. Nearby Bizirik watches, settled behind Tridemon's seat and snorting just once as it watches.
  414.
  415. "Mm," Daraius hums in acknowledgement, though the sound is a growl more than anything.
  416.
  417. Jade Dreamer Luce Shevat says, "So far I'm thinking of having the border be black ink script, an L and a T framing the invitation itself."
  418.
  419. Tridemon gives a silver tincture to you. <-- OH NO I MISSED THIS TOO sleepy RP is dangerous
  420.
  421. Jade Dreamer Luce Shevat says, "I'm torn between outright calligraphy or simple exaggerated cursive."
  422.
  423. Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters thinks to himself: Stationery. Orange and purple. Shiny.
  424.
  425. You have emoted: Gurashi smiles still. "Are hand writing all the invites?" They wonder. "...the really fancy letters will make your hand real tired real fasts, consider..."
  426.
  427. A Hallifaxian painted dog rolls over to present his neck and chest and belly to you for the rubbing, an ecstatic rainbow rippling across his variegated pelt wherever your fingers scritch his goopy body. Mercifully, the prior stains he'd left behind begin to evaporate into so much colored mist, leaving no evidence of his vandalism.
  428.
  429. Tikki says to Daraius, "I'm to blame for dragging Luce along with me. I used puppy dog eyes and everything."
  430.
  431. Kosuke, the cloud-bound Long says, "I may have helped as well."
  432.
  433. You grin mischievously at Kosuke, the cloud-bound Long.
  434.
  435. Kaiyo, the lucid Dream says, "We wanted candy."
  436.
  437. Kaiyo, the lucid Dream shrugs helplessly.
  438.
  439. Luce rolls his eyes.
  440.
  441. Nodding to Tikki and Kosuke, Daraius Shevat says, "In truth, I consider joining the fellowship of any god equivalent to that of any other. So long as your faith inspires you to greater service to the Collective, it is to be encouraged."
  442.
  443. Jade Dreamer Luce Shevat says to you, "I was probably going to create a printing plate to do the bordering, then fill the invitation in by hand."
  444.
  445. You have emoted: Gurashi continues to deliver plenty of affectionate pets, belly and otherwise, marveling at the evaporating paint from the earliest of the stains. "You two are very cute," They say suddenly of Tikki and Luce, grinning. "It is cute to watch talk about plans - are very excited yes. I thinks if you are filling them out by hands then do not do the fanciful calligraphies, just the regular words. Cur-sives."
  446.
  447. You nod your head sagely.
  448.
  449. Gazing down her hooked nose, a city administrator enters from the north.
  450.
  451. Tridemon blinks.
  452.
  453. You think to yourself: *a hopeful flutter, the excitement of their own wedding needling at the back of their mind, blooming with excitement*.
  454.
  455. With a polite nod of her head, a city administrator leaves to the north.
  456.
  457. Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters thinks to himself: ... Do the administrators wander through the shops often, I wonder.
  458.
  459. Addressing you and Tridemon, Daraius notes, "The two of you are due for a union as well, yes?"
  460.
  461. Tikki hums a happy tune.
  462.
  463. You think to yourself: *bright shades of orange and purple to match the stationery Tridemon envisioned, blooming flowers, the who's that will officiate and who's that will come-- a voice draws their attention back to the present just as quickly*.
  464.
  465. Luce blushes furiously.
  466.
  467. You have emoted: Gurashi jolts in surprise, briefly flushing pink. "Ah! Oh! Uh - y-yes!"
  468.
  469. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Mm, yes. We have a location in mind, as well. You might be familiar with it from your time in Celest- it's an isle of white sand in the Inner Sea."
  470.
  471. You blush furiously.
  472.
  473. You have emoted: Gurashi nods. "And we have friends that have asked to come," They whisper. "T-Tridemon is gonna ask the Lady Sculptors if could officiates.... ah - but then..."
  474.
  475. Daraius nods solemnly.
  476.
  477. You have emoted: Gurashi looks out over the stormy skies, tail no longer wagging, hands idle at a Hallifaxian painted dog's neck.
  478.
  479. You pet a Hallifaxian painted dog ingratiatingly.
  480.
  481. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say, "I-it is a little dangerous to have a wedding on a beach in the oceans that is raging, yes."
  482.
  483. A Hallifaxian painted dog laps compulsively at your forearm, streaking it red, then blue, then white, and another color with each lick.
  484.
  485. Deep in thought, Daraius leans his cheek on his hand.
  486.
  487. Tikki says, "It would, however, make for an interesting story to tell future friends."
  488.
  489. Jade Dreamer Luce Shevat says, "Depends on how many Aquamancers you have in attendance."
  490.
  491. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say, "Also the world must be fixed too perhaps probably maybeehe-ehehehe!" They stop talking, breaking into high pitched giggles at the licking. "That tickles!"
  492.
  493. Summoning the most adorable visage he can manage, a Hallifaxian painted dog slowly tilts his head to stare at you with pleading eyes.
  494.
  495. Your shoulders bunch as you let out a short giggle.
  496.
  497. You pet a Hallifaxian painted dog ingratiatingly.
  498.
  499. Daraius Shevat looks thoughtful and says, "I'm afraid I've not fully caught up on the news."
  500.
  501. You boggle at Daraius.
  502.
  503. You have emoted: Gurashi's jaw drops, mouth forming an 'o' of surprise.
  504.
  505. Daraius studies your expression carefully.
  506.
  507. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say to Daraius, "It is TERRIBLE."
  508.
  509. Daraius Shevat says, "My dear pup did briefly make mention of the storm. I assume it is one of the generational calamities we contend with regularly?"
  510.
  511. Tikki says, "So to speak. It involves a rather upset Elder awakening the Sea Spirit. At its simplest explanation."
  512.
  513. Daraius again issues a quiet growl of understanding.
  514.
  515. You have emoted: Gurashi looks at their gathered companions, practically bursting out of their seat. "At Tikki's explanation, they deflate a little, though they look just as equally relieved, slumping a little, hugging a Hallifaxian painted dog as they return to give the dog more affection.
  516.
  517. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Spirit Sea was awoken with an... unorthodox and rather insufficient Awakening. Plenty of power from the Eye of Dynara, but not enough Elders to help the awakening take shape properly."
  518.
  519. Doing little to conceal his distaste, Daraius Shevat says, "You can imagine how unsurprised I am that an elder god is again at fault."
  520.
  521. Kaiyo, the lucid Dream says, "T'was not a boon that the Elder in question was mad with pain and grief."
  522.
  523. Gently, you say, "There was a Elder Goddess locked away in hidings at the bottom of the sea, yes ... everybody and Everybody tried to help Her... but..."
  524.
  525. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  526.
  527. Tikki says, "She had every right to Her anger. It's a shame though that it came to a head like it did. I understand why She was hurt, but it doesn't excuse Her lashing out."
  528.
  529. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "Well, last time it was dragons instead..."
  530.
  531. You have emoted: Gurashi trails off, petting a Hallifaxian painted dog adoringly while Bizirik watches.
  532.
  533. Daraius quietly sips at a beryl aerial tea cup.
  534.
  535. Weakly, you say, "The Sea Spirits is in pain so now the skies cries for her."
  536.
  537. You have emoted: Gurashi looks up, frowning again.
  538.
  539. You think to yourself: *a little ripple, their favorite beaches in the tidal flats lost in a crashing wave*.
  540.
  541. A Hallifaxian painted dog suddenly flips over and stretches across your lap to inspect whatever and whomever sits on your other side.
  542.
  543. Daraius Shevat asks, "I don't suppose anyone has proposed a solution?"
  544.
  545. A Hallifaxian painted dog sniffs Tridemon, trying to decipher just what that smell emanating from him is.
  546.
  547. A Hallifaxian painted dog licks Bizirik, the leothin.
  548.
  549. Golden shades radiate from your chest and your heart beats faster with newly-appeared determination.
  550.
  551. Gently, you say, "The Elders are looking for her now - the Spirits? In the seas..."
  552.
  553. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say, "There are LOTS and lots of seas...."
  554.
  555. Kosuke, the cloud-bound Long says, "As a dragon, mostly, I can promise that I won't make an attempt to take over the Basin with or without temporal anomalies."
  556.
  557. A Hallifaxian painted dog nudges Tridemon's hand in hopes of sniffing out a tint.
  558.
  559. Daraius Shevat asks Kosuke, the cloud-bound Long, "Do you have the same drive for Yugomaru as other dragons?"
  560.
  561. You tilt your head curiously at Tridemon.
  562.
  563. Kosuke, the cloud-bound Long shakes his head. "Being born of the Dreaming, funny enough, makes me a bit more down to earth."
  564.
  565. You tilt your head curiously at a Hallifaxian painted dog.
  566.
  567. Kaiyo, the lucid Dream says, "Figuratively."
  568.
  569. You have emoted: Gurashi returns their hands to their lap, lacing their fingers around the cup Tikki gave them and sipping from it deeply.
  570.
  571. A Hallifaxian painted dog slinks further across your lap, dragging his legs over your own, utterly ruining whatever uncolored fabric remained. He redoubles his efforts to get Tridemon's attention by performing a series of simple obedience tricks -- first sitting politely, then lying down, then raising his hindquarters in an unmistakable doggy bow.
  572.
  573. Daraius rubs his chin thoughtfully, raises his eyebrow and says, "I see..."
  574.
  575. Tridemon sips black tea from a cherry blossom tea cup.
  576.
  577. Lifting his cup, Daraius Shevat says, "Well, I do have faith in mortality's ability to correct for the mistakes of the gods, as we tend to do quite regularly."
  578.
  579. You have emoted: Gurashi glances towards Daraius, then Tridemon, then produces a bit of color from their rift, though they are quick to hide it away in their lap.
  580.
  581. Daraius Shevat says, "And hopefully sooner rather than later, so unions are not unduly delayed."
  582.
  583. You nod your head emphatically.
  584.
  585. You have emoted: Gurashi smiles weakly.
  586.
  587. Ocean waves echoing softly behind his voice, Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters says, "We really do need to find Sea before anything can be done about it, and if Anyone CAN find a Great Spirit in hiding, it'll be the Silent."
  588.
  589. You glance askance at Tridemon.
  590.
  591. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  592.
  593. Tikki says, "Hopefully not alone, for Sea's sake."
  594.
  595. Tikki sips black tea from a cherry blossom tea cup.
  596.
  597. You have emoted: Gurashi watches their reflection in their cup with a frown still. "They are all looking," They repeat. "If One finds her think They would all..."
  598.
  599. Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters thinks to himself: ... I wonder if Tavi needs hugs...
  600.
  601. You gaze softens as you smile.
  602.
  603. Perking up, you say, "Did you know you can actually helps the Lady heal? Anyone can, actually."
  604.
  605. Swaying, you say, "Though, these days the healings gives you strangely dreams..."
  606.
  607. Luce's ears perk up with a sudden interest.
  608.
  609. Daraius remains silent, his expression dispassionate as he listens.
  610.
  611. Daraius sips white tea from a beryl aerial tea cup.
  612.
  613. Jade Dreamer Luce Shevat asks, "What sort of dreams?"
  614.
  615. Tikki says, "Nightmares. Love lost, imprisonment, abandonment."
  616.
  617. You have emoted: Gurashi looks down at their cup. "It is kind of nice. The Lady Empyreals has set up a healing thingy for the Lady of Lagoons, and you can pick magnolias that will help keeps Her calms while She sleeps and heals," They express softly. "Yes, She dreams of uncomfortable things, because does not know is not in danger, in this moments."
  618.
  619. You have emoted: Gurashi hums quietly to themselves, glancing at Tridemon again.
  620.
  621. Tikki says, "I would almost wager She believes herself to be back on the throne again."
  622.
  623. You think to yourself: *a little ripple, envisioning the elephant calf embraced by Cheliyi, by Aeldra*.
  624.
  625. Luce winces in pain.
  626.
  627. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  628.
  629. You nod your head emphatically.
  630.
  631. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say, "Mm."
  632.
  633. A Hallifaxian painted dog gives up on Tridemon and sulks around a simple tea table of beryl-hued cedar, spitefully slapping a splash of paint on the lucidian's back with his tail as he passes. He rubs up against Tikki, Kosuke, the cloud-bound Long, Kaiyo, the lucid Dream, and Luce in turn, smearing them all with shades of affectionate carnation pink before settling down quietly at Daraius's side.
  634.
  635. Jade Dreamer Luce Shevat says, "That throne was...not a pleasant sight."
  636.
  637. You murmur softly to yourself.
  638.
  639. Tikki pets a Hallifaxian painted dog ingratiatingly.
  640.
  641. Luce gives a gold tincture to a Hallifaxian painted dog.
  642. A Hallifaxian painted dog sloppily gobbles down the gold tincture and romps playfully around the room as waves of aureate color ripple across his pelt, paint splashing like molten gold in his wake with every bound.
  643.
  644. Daraius's eyes sparkle behind the lenses of his spectacles.
  645.
  646. You gaze softens as you smile.
  647.
  648. Daraius Shevat says to a Hallifaxian painted dog, "I really do think you've had enough."
  649.
  650. A Hallifaxian painted dog bares his teeth -- shockingly white amid a riot of color.
  651.
  652. Your shoulders bunch as you let out a short giggle.
  653.
  654. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say to Bizirik, the leothin, "Not unlikes you, yes? Hungry baby."
  655.
  656. Tikki says, "He's just catching up for treats missed."
  657.
  658. Daraius bares his own teeth right back at a Hallifaxian painted dog, though his expression reads as much as a smile as a snarl.
  659.
  660. Bizirik, the leothin says nothing, baring a little bit of its own sharp teeth, before blankly staring off.
  661.
  662. Your shoulders bunch as you let out a short giggle.
  663.
  664. Bizirik, the leothin considers the bowl of dream-gumbo before it, sniffing at it, seeming disinterested, then curious, then coyly disinterested before it gently pokes its nose into the food, snorting forcibly while Gurashi sips their tea placidly nearby.
  665.
  666. Tikki says to Daraius, "Oh, speaking of the art exhibit earlier. There is a city scroll for the Auction that you can look at that has them displayed."
  667.
  668. Daraius Shevat says, "Mm. I do think I'd prefer to see the recording. I trust there was some, ah... some scaffolding of a production around the exhibition? Not merely a rapid showing of portraits?"
  669.
  670. You have emoted: Gurashi's tail wags. "Oh, it was not a rapid showing at all, no sir."
  671.
  672. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you say, "There was plenty of times to look at all the paintings and admire thems, yes yes."
  673.
  674. Daraius nods his head sagely.
  675.
  676. Tikki nods his head in confirmation as he takes another sip of tea. "Qillilitli did a delightful job."
  677.
  678. A low, contented growl arises within Daraius's chest.
  679.
  680. Rubbing at the corner of their eyes, you say, "I made a bids on two myselfs! I loved them so muchly."
  681.
  682. Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters thinks to himself: Not your mostest favorite painting, though.
  683.
  684. Daraius Shevat says, "I am pleased my beloved ministry remains in capable hands." His ears fall back against his head as he adds, "I did not leave it in the best of circumstances."
  685.
  686. You have emoted: Gurashi smiles, thumb brushing the edge of their teacup. They glance towards Tridemon out of the corner of their eye before taking another sip. "Hallifax seems to be a-hopping these days, it does. Seems is doing O-K."
  687.
  688. You hum softly to yourself.
  689.
  690. With a gentle, euphonic lilt, you ask, "But I do not lives here so I cannot gauge fairlyyyy?"
  691.
  692. You hum softly to yourself.
  693.
  694. Daraius nods solemnly.
  695.
  696. Tikki says, "The Collective has seen a nice resurgence of activity to be sure. The Skydrifters are in large part to thank for that. They're treasures one and all."
  697.
  698. Daraius pauses for a second, a slight frown upon his face.
  699.
  700. You have emoted: Gurashi stares off towards the many kegs housing tea, cup held near to their face, missing Daraius's frown.
  701.
  702. Daraius Shevat murmurs, "Shame they didn't have the good taste to assimilate into House Shevat, but I suppose our presence has waned slightly."
  703.
  704. Resolutely, Daraius Shevat says, "So long as the Collective thrives."
  705.
  706. Tikki nods his head sagely. "True, I suppose I'll just have to put in extra effort for the House once I finally wear it's name."
  707.
  708. Tikki hums a happy tune.
  709.
  710. Kaiyo, the lucid Dream says, "Pah, thou'rt still the paragons of culture within the city."
  711.
  712. You have emoted: Gurashi's tail wags. "Would bring any comforts to know that still thinks of Shevats when thinks of Hallifax?" They wonder aloud. "Is still the bigly Hallifax family I thinks...."
  713.
  714. Exuding an air of high culture, Kaiyo, the lucid Dream holds her head high and cups an imaginary saucer in one hand while lifting an unseen teacup in the other, gazing majestically off into the distance.
  715.
  716. Luce blinks.
  717.
