  28. TEXT: I picked up the sparkling item that turned out to be a smooth stone like item with a symbol etched into one side.

  31. TEXT: I have seen this symbol before in documents from my colleague in Kalos, Professor Sycamore, leading me to believe it is connected to Pokémon and their Mega Evolutions.

  34. TEXT: Digging further into the documents, I believe that Mega Evolutions could even be activated by this new type of item. For sake of documentation, we have named these glittering items Mega Energy.

  52. TEXT: It also seems to be a temporary state where the Pokémon seem to return to normal once the Mega Energy is depleted.

  55. TEXT: At first it may be difficult to gather all the Mega Energy needed to Mega evolve, but it seems that the amount of Mega Energy you need to gather is reduced over time.
