tl ragnarok phase 2

[10:11 PM] Leafia_Barrett: rather than trying to just shoot it or whatever, maybe the goal would be to untangle the 3 components from each other, forcing them out of "tearing the fabric of existence apart" form and back to something we can damage
[10:11 PM] Leafia_Barrett: so the remaining magic users would be responsible for that
[10:11 PM] Leafia_Barrett: and trying to keep it from murdering everyone, ofc
[10:12 PM] Leafia_Barrett: meanwhile the rest of the group has to contend with a very angry Gaia
[10:14 PM] Kiri: honestly what I know I want to do is to go unbelievably hard on the fact that everything is many kinds of horribly terribly wrong
[10:15 PM] Kiri: like nobody gives a clear description of what the ragnarok looks like because it's impossibly bleeding into the universe surrounding it while thus making it unravel
[10:15 PM] Kiri: a dramatic storm has rolled in because of aquarius but it appears to be falling backwards, including the lightning
[10:15 PM] Kiri: the sun appears to have multiplied into three of itself inexplicably
[10:15 PM] Leafia_Barrett: kill Ragnarok by shooting it and you just tear a massive hole in reality
[10:16 PM] Leafia_Barrett: but yeah, even the in-game announcement says "the very fabric of reality is tearing at the seams", if memory serves, so having reality doing exactly that would fit
[10:17 PM] Kiri: honestly I was thinking the fight would be more 'survive until it collapses in on itself'
[10:17 PM] Kiri: because what do you shoot on a logical impossibility
[10:18 PM] Leafia_Barrett: letting it collapse in on itself sounds more like a fail state, honestly
[10:18 PM] Leafia_Barrett: if it's tearing reality apart, letting it just rip itself apart sounds like it would take everything with it
[10:19 PM] Kiri: wait until there is no irregularity to be causing the problem anymore
[10:19 PM] Kiri: 'reality' is big
[10:19 PM] Leafia_Barrett: reality is big, but the planet, relatively speaking, is not
[10:20 PM] Kiri: the problem is that it's a block away from our home
[10:21 PM] Leafia_Barrett: so eventually it would become too unstable to stay intact anymore, yes, but Terra would probably be fucked in the process
