  13. 10-2 - On Scene. - When I'm called to a scene and I arrive.

  15. 10-8 - Available for calls - Meaning I'm in-service, free handed.
  16. 10-7 - Unavailable for calls. - Meaning I'm on a call/coffee break/in a meeting.
  17. 10-22 - Disregard. - Used when something occurred and assistance isn't needed anymore.
  18. 10-12 - Assistance required - Used when you need a flatbed or just assistance at your location.
  19. 10-20 - Location. - Used to describe your location.
  20. 10-99 - Assignment Complete - Used when you are done with a call, etc.
  21. 10-10 - Status update. - Used to describe a situation to a supervisor or higher.
  22. Status 1 - On Duty, this is usually followed by 10-8 when heading on duty.
  23. Status 2 - Off duty, this is usually followed by 10-7 when heading off-duty.

  25. What does 'over' and 'out' means while speaking through Radio, and when do we use them?
  26. Over indicates that your sentence is done and you're awaiting the other party's transmission.
  27. Out indicates that the discussion has ended from both parties.

  29. You're driving around in your towtruck, when suddenly the Los Santos County Sheriff Department calls you via the department radio. They are requesting 2 vehicles to be impounded to their lot, because they were involved on a illegal racing. The drivers were arrested and both vehicles are requested to be impounded to LSCSD's lot. What would you do and how would you do it?
  30. I'd ask the officer to sign the paper work, then take pictures of the vehicle I'm towing. Afterwards, I'd call in for another tow truck to assist in the towing of the other vehicle, and let the officer wait to sign the paper work on his form as well. Then I'd tow it to the headquarters and let the assistant take it to the garage while filling the paper work. I can depart after that and proceed with my duties.

  46. I'd ask him to remain calm while explaining what has occurred. If it's an unlawful parking, I'd ask him to use the format on our website. If a worker harassed him or so, I'd direct him to our IA desk. If he continues with his attitude, I'd call in the police department to get him off the premises.
