  1. [15:22] Lucia Alcast says, "Mr. Aegeus."
  2. [15:22] Lucia Alcast says, "I need a word with you."
  3. [15:23] Eliphas looks towards Lucia.
  4. (Eliphas Aegeus)
  5. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  6.
  7. [15:23] Eliphas Aegeus says, "Hmm? No need for formalities Miss Lucia."
  8. [15:23] Lucia Alcast says, "Apologies, that's just...How I was raised."
  9. [15:24] Eliphas Aegeus says, "Likewise, Headmaster Ethric and my Aunt Saga believed in manners."
  10. [15:24] Eliphas Aegeus says, "Before anything else."
  11. [15:24] Eliphas Aegeus asks, "Now then. How may I help you?"
  12. [15:24] A lightly balled fist was brought to the girl's mouth as she cleared her throat.
  13.
  14. "I still need to find my grandfather's amulet." She hoped the Kitsune's lips would be a bit looser this time.
  15. (Lucia Alcast)
  16. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  17.
  18. [15:26] A playful smile appeared at his lips as he looked towards the Alcast.
  19.
  20. "Are you strong enough to beat me yet?" he retorted as shined in his void-colored hues.
  21.
  22. "Can't tell you anything unless you manage to bring me down to one knee."
  23. (Eliphas Aegeus)
  24. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  25.
  26. [15:27] An annoyed look took center point on Lucia's features.
  27.
  28. "Why must these things always go straight to violence? My goal isn't to maim anyone."
  29.
  30. Lucia exhaled a sigh.
  31.
  32. "I just want the amulet returned to my family. To someone who is devoted to Eos."
  33. (Lucia Alcast)
  34. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  35.
  36. [15:37] An ethereal white glow portrayed from his vision, resonating towards the surroundings as Lucia would be feel her own spirit move to his beat.
  37.
  38. "So the words that you spoke of before hand are different from the methods you will use to reclaim your mother's staff?" he frowned.
  39.
  40. A massive hand reached forward, open as he essence grew magnificently. Growing with each passing second as lesser spirits slowly came to his beckoned call.
  41.
  42. "Are you lying to me Alcast?"
  43.
  44. Slowly, his grasp would close.
  45.
  46. Each passing second that his palms came closer to closing, she could feel her very soul shake underneath his weight.
  47.
  48. The luminescence from his eyes radiated brighter than before as she could find herself hypnotized by his very stare.
  49.
  50. "I would hope not Lucia."
  51.
  52. His hand expanded open once more as the ethereal glow disappeared. Lucia would find herself released from his grasp, at best. She had experienced a feeling of suffocation, as if walls were closing around her form but not pushing her enough to actually die or pass out.
  53.
  54. Just a light.. Warning.
  55.
  56. Stars blurred his vision as he fell from the sky, stumbling as he landed against the stoned pavement before being able to collect himself.
  57.
  58. "Huh." he frowned as he looked to his open palm, opening and closing his hand several times before he finally shrugged it off.
  59.
  60. "Well then." he sighed, "If your not lying. It could actually work in my favor." he smiled shyly as he looked to her once more.
  61.
  62. "Our favor."
  63.
  64. "I have an idea as to how we can reclaim our heirlooms." he hinted, "Follow me to the Fireblooded. This all depends if the deal went through on their end anyway."
  65. (Eliphas Aegeus)
  66. [16:08] Lucia's visage grew stern.
  67.
  68. "You dare call me a liar, Mr. Aegeus?" Her words were truth, always. The Alcast was honor bound not to lie.
  69.
  70. A cold, shaking sensation ran through her core. Digits trembled, an echo of the vibration coursing inside her. She felt enthralled, if only for a moment.
  71.
  72. Almost as though her mana reacted instinctively, a warm, calming presence wrapped around her form. The presence of Holy mana was apparent, radiating off her.
  73.
  74. "I'm ashamed that you would attempt such an underhanded trick, Mr. Aegeus. Perhaps next time, you should assault someone else's moral ambiguity." A piercing glare was sent from her deep blue hues. "I am bound by oath to return this amulet to my family, and I will. That does not mean, however, that I will stoop so low as to slaughter people for it."
  75.
  76. Steadily, the aura around Lucia grew brighter, pushing back at the internal suffocation.
  77.
  78. "I'm a woman of my word, and always in the service of others. I've devoted my life to that cause; to protecting others."
  79.
  80. Brighter and brighter the mana grew, resonating with her words. Lucia's sincerity was apparent by the physical reflection she gave off. Any lingering feeling left by his assault was fully forced out. If that didn't convince him, nothing would.
  81.
  82. "Do these sound like the words of liar to you, Mr. Aegeus?"
  83.
  84. Her tightened gaze loosened, once his hands were free. The proposal was one to consider.
  85.
  86. "In light of this conversation, I'm hesitant to agree, but it looks like I have no choice." She paused. "For now." Her trust in the man had wavered, ever so slightly.
  87.
  88. "I will at the very least hear you out." She took a deep breath, honing her concentration into calming down.
  89. (Lucia Alcast)
  90. [16:24] Amusement befell the Aegeus.
  91.
  92. There were several of people who shown to be capable of forcing him back, even going to such lengths to beat him. But he didn't expect Lucia to have the strength, nor willpower to resist his attack.
  93.
  94. A smirk prompted as she fought back.
  95.
  96. Piercing blue hues met his own as a valiant holy aura erupted from the Alcast's form.
  97.
  98. Clearly showing their valor and determination, Eliphas could only watch. Impressed by the Alcast's actions, he pondered if he was wrong to undermine their strength after all.
  99.
  100. As their mana rose by the second, she remained steadfast in retaliating his own attack. Something that he respected, rather than seeing her fall to his power and allowing him to walk over her.
  101.
  102. She stood tall.
  103.
  104. "Heh, well the longer we delay. The more we'll be further from the truth." he waved her over to follow, chuckling as she clearly held his interest.
  105.
  106. "By the way? You seem to be full of determination." he finally replied as he turned on his heels to walk off.
  107.
  108. Actions spoke louder than words, and she showed both.
  109.
  110. "The Fireblooded plan on killing the Docro's for all that they have done. So with that, we may be able to catch Seth pyr Docro off guard. The one who more than likely holds your amulet." he grinned as he kicked off the ground, idly floating through the air as he moved off.
  111.
  112. Not waiting for Lucia to follow, he'd quickly inform them of what was to happen.
  113.
  114. "First, promise not to say any of this to anyone else until it becomes public knowledge."
  115.
  116. If she would accept and promise not to say a word, he'd tell her of his plans. If she denied his request? He'd remain silent through his journey towards the mountains.
  117.
  118. "They plan on recruiting the aid of Asphodel, if the vampires accept. Then I'll be able to trade Alexander's weapon for my father's bow. Then we'd have the vampires call Seth and Nikolai to reclaim Alexander's bow. Only to eventually end the Docro's lives and reclaim your goods." he explained as he moved off.
  119. (Eliphas Aegeus)
