  1. The mounting interface is Calamity's design, and will be surgically attached by her. It screws directly into the remaining bones in Will's forearm, with steel rods and reinforcement plates where necessary. The mount will also attach to the motor nerves responsible for controlling the hand and wrist, allowing Will to use them like a regular arm. Of course, there's no way to wire an artificial limb for sensory nerves, so he'll have no feeling in it.

  3. The "arm" component is fairly simple, being just a replacement for the radius and ulna, housing the battery unit. The arm itself is simply welded-up steel framing, wired for whatever is necessary for the controls to work properly and to power the moving parts. The battery itself is encased in a cylindrical casing of 5/8" rolled steel armour, as it's the critical component and there aren't any replacements available.

  5. The moving parts (wrist and hand) are a detachable, modular section, attaching to the straight arm with a Rzeppa-type CV joint, salvaged from the motor pool, and is powered electrically by the battery. Sofia has designed a system of electromechanical actuators and servos to make the wrist and hand functional, if not all that advanced. The hand itself looks like something that belongs on a robot, or maybe an excavator. It's a three-finger gripper unit, with two joints per finger (at the base and one knuckle), with limited rotation on each allowing for a finer opposable-"thumb" pincer grip, much like how you'd hold a pen. 7. Possible improvements in the future (with GM approval and relevant XP spends and crafting) could include enhanced servos for a stronger grip, a more advanced hand, or possibly even other (weaponized?) attachments. Could also potentially modify it to incorporate anomalous or anachronistic hardware recovered during runs.
