Legit is a bit of a flimsy term that just means your Pokemon was not influenced by an external device (AR, Pokegen, Pokesav). Now, when you say manipulate, I'm not sure if you mean RNG manipulation or manipulation in the sense of use of an external device. In the case of RNG manipulation, your baby would be completely legit. For the second case, since an external device was used, your Pokemon would be legal at best (legal means to abide by the in game standards).
