- Spencer's Gimmick game rules
- this is a secret role game that players have to guess
- if a player guesses the specific role list, and they win, they gain the ability to enter a good/bad end competition to guess the specifics.
- both role list types include the dead
- original role lists are in the moment, and while it is said if they are right, updates aren't given. they still get in if they ever got one right
- if there is a team or multiple winners, they can all guess together, but only the people who give you the rolelist and won can help. the others have to be quiet.
- Final role lists are how things were at the end of the game
- unless someone's role is restless spirit, there role is considered static after death.
- also you can only guess the original thing through DMs
- good win vs bad win is all or nothing for the whole team, including the ones that never did the DM guess correctly
- for original role guesses, you get as many guesses as you want, but you need full answers and no spamming. spamming is having too many answers at one time and not trying with your answers. hosts can tell and you can tell when you are spamming
- When you're sending the role list to the host via DM, you should cover what the roles are, as well as what side turncoats are on, rogue targets, and stalker focuses (by role not person)
- if someone guesses right, immediately tell them. if they win, they get to guess for the good win
- after the game "ends" give the winners 5 minutes to try and guess the original role list on their own via dms
- at the end, each person who guessed right at least once on the original role list and won joins together and figures out who was each role.
- the losers can also dm the correct answer before the main person for a half win.
- nobody other than the winners that guessed right can speak in the common area before they give their final answer.
- If the winners' main answer is right they get the good win, if they don't (either by getting it wrong or never getting the first role list in the first place) they get a bad win.
- if you change the rules or roles at all, you need to tell everyone how beforehand
- levels of winning, from best to worst
- 1. Good win
- 2. Bad win
- 3. Half win
- 4. loss
