  3. Question on problems with multiple NAT routers? I understand that in a unified LAN, having multiple NAT segments will make life difficult.

  5. My scenario solves for bringing home “foreign” computers that more often than not is infected. I have a Cisco E3000 as the gateway router, connected to the Cisco is a $30 Belkin as the “foreign” router and a Netgear WNDR3700 as the home router.

  7. I heard this “Y” setup from another podcast, Security Now, that allows for protecting the home network, which includes work laptops, from infestations on the “foreign” computers. As the home router will protect the network from the “Foreign” network as well as any NAT router protects the LAN from WAN attacks.

  9. I welcome any thoughts you have on this setup.
