  1. Hello, puzzlers!
  2.
  3. As you no doubt already saw from my earlier post, I am spearheading BAPHL 18, aspiring to run it early September (eyeing September 8th but it's not in stone yet). This will be a live hunt in Boston, but even people far away can be helpful for testsolving or even constructing! I'll be joined by Amy Swartz, and we'll be the constructing captain and managing captain, respectively.
  4.
  5. The meta structure and theme are already in place, so I am sounding the call for people who would like to run it with me! I'm looking for:
  6. -individual puzzle writers/constructors
  7. -editors (both general copyeditors and directional editors)
  8. -test solvers
  9. -graphic designers
  10. -material assemblers
  11. -event volunteers.
  12.
  13. People's availability for the last part is obviously contingent on the event date, I realize, so let me know if you'd like to help run the event, and I won't be asking for any commitment until the date is set. If you have the bandwidth to contribute and would like to be a part of BAPHL 18, please send me an email at baphl18@agurpinar.com or Amy at aeswartz@gmail.com with your contact information and what responsibilities you would like to shoulder (preferably both). If you have a different e-mail address for me, you can contact me there too, but please put BAPHL18 somewhere in the subject line. It all goes to same place, but being able to filter my inbox for BAPHL18 teammates will make my life easier. If you would like to construct but need guidance or assistance in distilling puzzle ideas, I'm interested in you too! If you're skilled at gridding word puzzles, you are especially sought after for this! (It is personally my weak point.)
  14.
  15. Thank you,
  16. Ata Gurpinar
