  1. Pulling her long coat about her slender frame, Katrikka would return from her trip into the inner city going straight for the Chantry main hall. Pulling out the goblets, she would then place the supplies on the table, to any normal person, it was alot of herb, mostly shaman prepared dued to the roots. Removing her coat, she would push up her sleeves as she got to work mincing several roots and herbs adding them to one of goblets, her adding the usual spice to her own that looked identical. Cleaning up she would then collect the incense and crushed powder, making her way around the doorframes, windows as she would cast one of her powerful spells, now the trap was set.

  3. Jesliskyya was still staring at her phone, Mathias had spoken to her at length, come to find out her former Dominant had known the Witch Heitala. And know, he was speaking on her behalf. He trusted her, and she had trusted him. Rubbing her temples, the only request that had been made on top of speaking with the witch was that she go alone so her Mate wouldn't go crazy protective. Luck would have it, her Mate was occupied with the City and Jasper inhabitants due to Amelia making an ass of herself. Finally talking herself into moving, she would get up and ready, pulling on her long jacket, letting her fiery mane free as she would grab her usual bag running her fingers through her wolf's mane. "Watch the property and Ezekiel with Shades. Behave." She whispered softly as she drew the runes to get her into the shadows of the City of New York, stepping through she would hail a cab with ease giving the address to driver. Within an hour she would be pulling up to the Chantry of New York, and she had to give the witch, it was a beautiful property. Getting out, she paid the cab sending the man on his way, as she would look around for a moment to get her baring. Pulling out her vape, she tugged hard inhaling deeply as she exhaled slowly. Hearing the doors open behind her, she would turn, violet eyes landing on the witch herself. "Witch Heitala."

  5. Katrikka had just finished up with the runes making sure everything was set when she felt the shift, her eyes moving upwards as she knew Bjorn would be watching as well. Making sure everything was put away and hidden, she would make her way towards the door, watching the little Mage Regent for a moment, then finally opening the french doors. Her lips moving into smirk at the girl's title use. "Pikku Jesliskyya. Welcome to the Chantry of New York. Do come in." She would speak softly, barely higher then a whisper, pushing away as she would lead the girl to the Chantry room, standing near her desk, she would watch from the little Mage to enter through the door frame, and trap.

  7. Sky wasn't expecting the woman to be all proper and hospitable, her hand tightening on her bag. Arching a brow, Sky wasn't that small terrified child Heitala thought she knew. Shrugging her shoulders, she would follow the woman inside as she looked about. "You can leave your bag in the sitting room if you wish." Her looking over at the woman before she would nod slowly, letting the strap slip from her shoulder letting the bag land on the sitting couch. Finally she would step through the threshold, Sky missing the grin on Katri's face. "You requested me to come here and without my Mate, why?"
  8.
  9. Katrikka couldn't help but grin at the fact that the little Mage regent was still so gullible, leaving her bag of toys out of her reach. Tilting her head, she would chuckle at the question. "Thought that would be obvious, he was after and wasn't around for the situation we need to settle. Mathias said you liked spiced mead, please have some." She would hand the girl a goblet, as she would sip her own leaning aginst the desk. "Anyways, I know you have hated me for what happened to your mother, I don't think you understand my reasoning."
  10.
  11.
  12. Sky was slightly annoyed that Mathias and the woman had talked about her, Mathias not knowing her side to the story which she still hadn't divulged everything. Only her Mate really knew the extent of everything that had happened. "What possible reasoning could you have? You wanted a power grab, thats all you cared about. And mother denied it to you to keep the peace of Quarter. So you gave it to my brother after corrupting him. You knew it had to have a familial sacrifice." She snarled taking a hard pull on her vape exhaling slowly as she would toss back half of her drink, growling of course it had to be something she liked, even the spice.
  13.
  14. Katri would like the Mage speak her piece, lighting up a smoke as she listened. Nodding slowly she would settle on top of her desk before leveling her gaze at the Mage. "Not power grab, how about wanting a little girl to stay innocent. Matriarchal rule would have landed you Regency. You had no idea what you were getting yourself into.-"
  15.
  16. Sky would glare hard. "Do NOT speak about trying to keep my innocence. Why? Cause you saw something in me that reminded you of yourself long before you were embraced? Who the hell were you to decide that Witch?"
  17.
  18. Katri would arch a brow, tilting her head slightly. "Are you done?" She would ask in a cold voice, Sky nodding for a moment. "Good, now listen. Yes you did remind me of myself all those centuries ago in Finland. But, whether you want to believe me, your brother was the best candidate only Matriarchal law wouldn't allow the succession to have him unless something happened. Yes I gave him the spells he sought, HE chose to go after your mother when you ran away. I must say you are a far better sight than what you would be had you stayed. A war with your brother wouldn't have ended well for all of New Orleans and the Quarter."
  19.
  20. Sky was pissed at the woman for the comments, she stood up and paced for several minutes, her eyes finding the lit fire place. Refocus. Calm.Now. Skyya. She would whisper softly to herself, tossing the remaining mead down as she tugged on her vape. "Even if you say that is true, you targeted me on the run with the nightmares, and even here. You sought to try and kill me at the docks."
  21.
  22. Katrikka would watch the girl carefully, smirking softly as her black mane fell over her shoulder obscuring her face. Now it was time to just wait, rolling her neck feeling the muscles pop. Arching a brow at the words she would shake her head. "I never sent the nightmares, your brother sent the covens after you and myself. He realized I had done it intentionally if you recall, he just had no idea I was doing it to get you out of the Quarter. And given I have heard you returned over a year ago, forgive for erring on the side of caution when you came at me on the Docks."
  23.
  24. Skyya would turn around and stare at the woman, her violet eyes bright with emotion as she would shivered slightly. "Fine, I will give you that. This doesn't fix the past, you got my mother killed and you did nothing to try and stop Jacoby." She would stop as she would shake again, blinking rapidly her reaching for her mate as she would hiss as pain overtook her mind falling to her knees gripping her head. "Wh..what did you..do...to.. me..wit..witch?" She would whimper as she tried to use magic, runes anything and everything. She couldn't and the pain was getting worse.
  25.
  26. Katrikka would watch her carefully before smirking as she got the answer she expected, before her eyes would brighten to emeralds as the effects would begin. Laughing darkly as the mage would cry out in pain, and fall to the ground, she sauntered forward, her eyes watching carefully. "I survive. No Mate link. No Magic. No Rune. So tell me, are we breaking today, Little Jesliskyya?" She would look down at the Daeva would had curled into a ball on her side whimpering in pain.
