Beginning
Prologue: Mythos of Holinu, aka Origin story and lite touching on the Elemencer myth
Introduction of Donel
1)	Story begins with dialogue between Juliana (Faithion Mercenary Leader and Donel’s adoptive mother) and Donel discussing about the political situation between Danin and Magadi aka though there has been small skirmishes, there doesn’t seem to be a chance for a major conflict yet.
a.	This will be a light introduction. Do not bore the reader with a world building dump straight out of the beginning.
2)	One of Juliana’s men informs that the latest shipment of weapons came but some of them were damaged during shipment. Juliana tells Donel to do his usual, but tells him to not overdo it. (Bonding can repair weapons, but too much focus on an item can cause it to break down and deteriorate)
3)	Donel goes and starts to bond while having internal monologue about his recent doings, such as the last time he did this and how he screwed up. Also mention his past jobs, which has been limited to support even though Juliana personally trains him in swordsmanship
a.	Here is the entrance of Alma. This can be done in two ways depending on the viewpoint of the entire story. The best way to do this would be to begin with her viewpoint back at Whitehold, thus a chance to slightly explore her reason to transport to Dainin. It would stop the viewpoint once she is sent
4)	Alma appears while Donel is attempting to fix a badly damaged sword. He overloads the sword and it shatters as Alma appears in midair, falling into a local stream. Donel is very shocked while Alma mutters about inaccuracies of a certain mage. Finding that she isn’t alone, Alma quickly changes the subject to which direction Ravinca, Danin’s Imperial Captial, is. Donel doesn’t allow her to change the subject and demands her to tell her what she is doing. Alma answers this resistance by shooting a maodic spell near Donel’s feet, in which he answers by attempting to draw a sword. Alma shoots this sword out of his hand and demands Donel to think with his head. Faced with a lose-live situation, Donel answers quite jokingly that Alma is nowhere near Danin. Infact, Donel pushes even further that Alma is actually deep in Magadi, near the Eastern Fringes. This causes Alma further shock. (Alma notices the shattered sword but since this is in Donel’s viewpoint, he doesn’t notice this). Alma relaxes and Donel begins to gather up his stuff and leave. When asked (demanded) where he is going. Donel tells her if she wants to get dry, she may as well follow him back to the mercenary encampment. Alma keeps her cool and follows him
5)	In the encampment, Juliana jokes around about Donel starting a bad habit of bringing in women, but quickly changes moods when she realizes that Alma is a mage of Whitehold. Juliana then comes up to Donel and interrogates him about what he did and if he did anything she would have regretted. Alma interrupts this family feud to calmly ask for a place to discuss matters of importance. Juliana shows Alma to her tent while Donel is left alone with the sizable crowd which has gathered. Some light jokes here and there before Donel goes back to his job to place the weapons back.
a.	This part may or may not be in the final version: Alma’s Viewpoint. Alma quickly requests a guard for her travels to Dainin. Juliana, knowing very well what denying Whitehold mages can do to the credibility and future aspects of the company, agrees that Alma cannot go by herself and starts to lists off potential people that could go with her. Alma quickly demands that Done; (Who she calls Juliana’s son) to do so. Juliana is quickly caught off guard and tries to lower his value, saying he has little experience with fighting other than the occasional battle here and there as well as him being quite the poor choice for a body guard. Alma drives to the point that she wants Donel to act as her body guard. To herself, she goes on about the shattered sword and quickly brings up and puts downthe idea that Donel had somehow messed with the teleportation. Under a tough place, Juliana gives up and agrees but only on the terms that after she is done he is to be brought back to Magadi’s capital and a letter be sent out informing of his release. Alma adds in the fact that her company will be overly compensated for his use. Juliana mentions that an Algothian’s oath is as good as gold, so she expects both promises to be kept. Alma agrees.
6)	Donel’s viewpoint. Donel is informed by a messenger that Juliana requires him and to make it quick. On the way, Donel muses on why now. When he gets to Juliana’s tent, Juliana informs Donel to pack up. He is shocked, but Alma jumps in to inform him that he is now her bodyguard as she tries to get to Dainin. Donel looks to start an argument, but is stopped by Juliana’s gaze and simply tells Alma it will take a moment to pack up and leaves the tent. Alma follows him, to which Donel ignores. While he is packing up, Alma asks about the shattered sword, to which Donel ignores. Alma presses on the question, to which Donel replies that doesn’t matter in this relationship and he would rather pack up than speak of what ifs and what nots. Alma quits, and just watches by as Donel packs
7)	Donel Leaves Company. Donel and Alma are sent off by Juliana. Juliana gives them directions to the closest town, Solten, where they can then get a carriage to Magadi. Alma agrees to that plan, saying that she has more than enough currency to do so. Donel says goodbye to Juliana one last time, to which Juliana tells Donel to make the company proud, that this is still a job. Donel agrees and the two go off to Solten. Donel mentions that it will take at least one day to get to Solten on foot, so it would be wise to stick to the roads for now and maybe hitch a ride on any passerby that comes along. Alma scoffs at this idea. When night falls, Alma and Donel pitches up camp. While Alma is asleep, Donel tends to his weapon by the campfire. Attempting to Bond with the weapon, Donel is caught off guard when Alma speaks up. Alma then takes this chance to push Donel about the shattered sword, to which Donel finally agrees that it was indeed due to an overload of Maodics into the weapon. Alma asks if he learned how to Bond by himself or if he was taught to which he replies that he taught himself. Shocked, Alma tells Donel to stop what he was doing at once. Alma then forces Donel some lessons. Midway through the first lesson, Donel brings up the point that they still have half a days’ worth of walking and left to go to bed.
8)	Donel’s VP. Alma and Donel start their way to Solten early in the morning when they come across a movement of Holy See troops. Alma mentions her distaste of the Holy See while Donel tells her that either or, they were still a large part of this part of Magadi and it would be best not to anger them. Back on route, Donel and Alma finally reach Solten, to which Alma books both of them to the inn. In their room, Alma sets forward her plan to enter Dainin, which would be to go through the Magadian border, since that would be the most straightforward path to the Ravinca. Donel agrees, since he mentions the only other way to Dainin is to go through Taro. Alma quickly shoots down the idea, since that would require them to sneak into the country, since Taro does not have any sort of relationship with Magadi. Donel and Alma then call it a night. When Donel attempts to sleep on the floor, Alma scolds him and tells him to sleep on the bed with her. Donel agrees, but shows some anxiety to doing so, to which himself he scolds. Alma doesn’t seem to be bothered at all, and wishes him a good night. Donel answers back, but Alma is already asleep.
